The initial marketing of a house is pretty much the same whichever agent you choose to sell your home, the difference is what happens after you have accepted an offer and here is where Steve and Ashleigh were simply superb. We had a number of complicating factors in the sale of our house and it is fair to say that without Steve and Ashleigh, their ability to proactively work around the various issues thrown at us, some great lateral and out of the box thinking, we would have lost the sale (and our minds!). We couldn't have got there without their efforts and I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Unprofessional and unreliable agency

I rented with wards for 2 and a half years with a nil deposit scheme . From the first day of moving in we had problems with the property, no hot water, no heating, leaking boiler and bath in the middle of a snowy winter. We had to find our own plumber as the landlord liked to take his time getting in touch. From that day I have regretted my decision to not only move into that house but to also rent through wards. Their property management team are an embarrassment and extremely unprofessional, on numerous occasions I was spoken to on the phone in a very disrespectful manner. During my time in the house we experienced serious problems in the house which put myself and another member of the house hold in hospital. I have no finally moved out of the property and found a lovely landlord who has pride in his property.I have now been told by wards that I need to pay over £200 for cleaning the house ( which was done before I left) and they’re waiting for the contractor to give them a quote for more works that are needed in the home but not due to any fault of mine, I’m disgusted and shocked by this. So in my honest opinion I do not recommend Wards as an estate agency whatsoever. I do however recommend Ben Siggins and Connells who are very professional and reliable.
