Becky the sales progressor was so helpful. She was a fantastic link between us (buyers) and the vendors. As ever, house buying is a stressful process when your conveyancer is slow and/or a poor communicator. I felt like Becky stepped in several times to reassure us and ensure both sides were fully informed and feeling positive. She really made a difference.

My experience of dealing with the Broadstairs Branch of Miles and Barr was positive from start to finish. They really are a first rate team and everyone my daughter and I engaged with was pleasant and helpful without being in anyway pushy, patronising or overbearing. I was particularly impressed with the viewing agents who provided access on the two visits I made to the property. They were both affable and obliging without being in any way intrusive. The person with whom I had regular contact was the Sales Coordinator for the Broadstairs office. The lady is totally professional in the service she delivers. She treated me with the utmost consideration throughout the purchase process keeping me well informed of developments and dealing with my questions and concerns in an exemplary manner. Sheβs cheerful, positive and exudes confidence - a real credit to the organisation she represents. I wouldnβt hesitate in recommending Miles and Barr to anyone looking to buy or sell a property in the Broadstairs area.

They were quite slow to get problems sorted out, and at the end of my tenancy they created confusion/worry for me as they did not seem to know that my moving out date had already been decided and told me I needed to give 2 months' notice, which I didn't need to.

Can not fault the start of the process, The Sales staff were brilliant, we felt they were honest and helpful, always coming back to us when we had questions. They didn't really have to sell our house as we were lucky enough to sell to our first viewer. We were not impressed by the, all be it, indirect pressure we had from their panel solicitors, despite our clearly stating we would not use them, they kept trying to get us to and labelling it as a 'mistake' if that is the case take note of our instruction that we are not using them the first time and do not continue to try and get us to sign up with panel solicitors.Once sold, although our Sales Progressor was very friendly and a nice person, we felt everything slipped from this point, we could rarely actually speak with her, we could always leave a message but she rarely called back, preferring it seemed, to email. She did eventually provide an adequate service and get things moving for us, but we felt only because we would not give up and continuously chased things.However, despite the disappointment of the after sale process, on the whole we had a good experience, the staff were all friendly and we can understand why M&B have a good reputation. We would definitely recommend them as they are, on the whole, very good at what they do.
