Amazing letting agents

Myself and my partner recently let a property through Ocean. Amelia dealt with the arrangement of the viewing and what came next after we made an application of the property. She was so so helpful and approachable- we didn’t feel like we couldn’t ask questions and any issues we had she dealt with haste and very professionally. She even managed to organise some furniture for the new unfurnished property through the existing tennats who were getting rid of a few bits which was a great help with our move and made it so much easier. Also a thank you to Will who showed us around the property in great detail! I’d 100% recommend letting through Ocean!

Sadie & Sam have been beyond amazing with our sale and although our purchase wasn't through Ocean they provided a lot of support and went above and beyond when managing issues. Would definitely recommend to everyone - they have been great and honest throughout. If we ever find ourself on the position of selling again we would definitely go with Ocean Shirehampton!

Best estate agents in Bristol

From start to finish the guys at Ocean were amazing I saw several properties in the area before making a choice and Mark was incredible, so knowledgeable about the area, the market and the property it’s self he understood my budget and wish list and found properties to suit! When I found a house I loved and had my offer accepted Tanya the move manager kept me well informed at every point, and was very understanding of the stress of buying a house and took away so much of it. They both get 20/10 in my book!

Ocean Estate Agents were flawless from start to finish. We’ve moved before but this was another level and we were quite out of our depth but they were so calm, friendly and efficient it was always a reassuring phonecall to them which we are incredibly grateful for. Also, it’s a real asset to a company when the whole team are great and communicate so well I’m house. we spoke to Liz quite regularly and she was amazing, nothing was too much and she again, was so efficient. Equally when she was off Lisa picked up where she had left off and was always up to date. Joseph was also amazing and attentive, we can’t thank him enough for being so flexible when it came to us viewing our new home multiple times (and this was a lot of visits - bless him!).We would highly recommend Oceans to all our friends and family and owe a massive thank you to them all for being a huge contributor to sealing the deal on our forever home.

The team were helpful and quick process

The team were helpful and the buying process went very quickly and smoothly. Ashleigh in particularly was really really good, very responsive and clear and her friendly tone of voice was really appreciated. We also arranged the mortgage through the financial services part of Ocean, and Luigi was amazing, and got us a great deal, fantastic service. One minor suggestion on the conveyancing is that it would have been good to get a few more status updates on the online tracker but I think that might just be normal. Overall very happy with the experience.

We have a great experience using Ocean estate agents to sell our property. Stefano is 1st class and always on hand for support and guidance. We were kept informed at all times and we would truly recommend. Our property was on the market for only 1 week before being sold with our property having multiple viewings on a single day. Too many errors to give 5* unfortunately.

Although previous experiences using Ocean have been good, unfortunately our recent purchase has been a lengthy process with a number of errors and several requests for clarification. The legal team were very helpful when communicating by telephone but we found the email system frustrating with many emails saying “out of the office until…..”. There were several members of the team dealing with our purchase which meant the whole process felt rather “messy”.

My partner and I are first time buyers, actually set to complete at the end of the week! Buying a house is super stressful, and our journey was made a little more complicated than most by surveyors but we’re now finally at the finish line. Ocean estate agents in Shirehampton have been absolutely incredible. They communicate well with each other, always answer the phone and are happy to help! Sam was absolutely exceptional

Sam was absolutely exceptional. As FTBs we struggled to know what we really wanted in a house and often changed our minds but Sam was patient and helpful throughout. We genuinely wouldn't have found the perfect house for us, if it wasn't for his down to earth nature, or his absolute professionalism. Unethical practice

Move Manager advised me of completion date and to change my booking of my preferred removal company.Even though I questioned the feasibility of this - she insisted that all other people on the chain could make this new date. I changed the date only to be told (very soon after) that it wasn’t feasible and we needed to revert to the original date. My preferred removal company then could not move me as someone else had requested the date. I was forced to use a removal company that I never would have chosen and at a considerably higher cost. The experience on the completion date was not pleasant and I hold Ocean accountable for the stress and illness this resulted in for me. I have raised this as a concern but the manner in which it was dealt with was poor.

I can't say enough good things about Sadie and Sam. We had huge difficulty selling our house due to non-standard construction. But Sam found buyers for us in good time and recommended some steps to take to help with the sale process. Sadie was tireless in her work. I cannot rate Simon and the team highly enough. I wouldn’t use anyone else for my mortgages. Yes, you can get the rates anywhere, and that brokers can be somewhat homogeneous. What you’re getting with Simon is dedicated service, specialist industry knowledge beyond mortgages into the macroeconomic trends, a genuine passion for the finance industry more widely and his exceptional network and relationships with underwriters and area specialists from the banks. From making the initial contact with Iona to taking it through to completion with Andrew , as well as a team of others in between , the whole process was handled with efficiency and professionalism . We were naturally apprehensive about having to conduct the sale from a distance (NZ) via emails but ultimately those anxieties were unfounded as we had frequent email updates and even the odd phone call to reassure ourselves things are on track.Big thank you to Iona for setting up the marketing and getting us a firm offer within weeks of initial contact and Andrew for the final push that got us over the line.
