Tommy was very helpful and friendly through the process of renting a flat. We had a few problems with the referencing agency but Tommy worked to come up with alternative solutions. Having had poor experiences with estate agents in the past, I would use Oceans again to find another property with confidence.

All the team I had contact with were brilliant. My purchase wasn't the smoothest but Victoria, Tracey and Claire were all excellent and never made me feel like I was bothering them with all the issues I ended up coming to them with. When my mortgage offer was about to expire they were quick action an extension and help me get the purchase over the line. I highly recommend the service.

Terrible estate agents, the house we rented had a leaking roof from the start of the tenancy up until the day we left. 10 Months of showing countless builders the same issue. even had the cheek at one point to say it had been fixed. gave it the classic sorry the repair was unsuccessful. asked to show proof countless times... no response obviously. i feel sorry for the landlord as no doubt he was being charged for repairs that were not getting done. now onto the deposit return. 6th week and still no funds even tho the landlord has agreed to give us the whole lot back. good on him. They only respond if you tell them your going to take action.I said i would go to TDS as they do not reply to emails and was getting fed up. There response was they have 3 months to return it and actively tried to get me not to raise a dispute with TDS as it would take 7-8 months and would be in my interest to resolve with them. BEWARE false information. This is an absolute crock and when i spoke to TDS they were quite shocked that this advice was given. for any new tenant reading this if you dont raise a dispute with tds within 3 months then you cant raise one at all. so clearly trying to get me to go over the time frame deliberately. i can see from all the other bad reviews there going to respond about how great they are and everyone else is the issue but i can assure you ive dealt with many estate agents and this one is shocking. maybe if they replied to emails in the same fashion as these reviews the 1 stars wouldn't exist..

There was a mistake in the deposit payment process that caused a delay, this has now been resolved. We also acknowledge that the information we gave you about TDS was factually correct but not clear enough and without sufficient context. We have used this as a learning opportunity for specific team members and provided them with further training and guidance. We will monitor their performance to ensure they meet our standards.Regarding the roof, it was the landlord’s preferred contractor, work had proven to be insufficient, and this was unfortunately beyond our control. A 2nd contractor has now been appointed and work scheduled. As we agreed, the work will be done when the property is empty, because it will affect the living space. Joe at Ocean dealt with the initial stage of our sale and valued the property very accurately so a buyer was found within two weeks, which was great. Communication with Joe was speedy, friendly and helpful. Things got a bit more complicated when we moved to dealing with the legal stage, but even so the whole sale was completed within the expected time-frame. Very satisfied.

It could have been better if we had clarity on the steps we need to go through ahead of starting the process. We were misguided that an excess of £30k could be withdrawn along with the remortgaging process for house improvements but ended up with a lot of confusion when HTB did not accept that, HTB came up with a lot of hidden steps involved in the process when we directly contacted them, which we felt we could have planned the timeline better if we known this earlier. We contacted Ocean Estate Agents roughly 6 months prior to our current mortgage's expiry, but still ended up completing the remortgaging 18 days late, after going through the mental trauma of having to get the work done by ourselves being the middle man for HTB Lenvi and Enact, to get the series of mistakes and wrong information corrected.
Thank you for your feedback. Whilst we absolutely appreciate your frustrations, we do however have to make clear that on this occasion, we were unable to expedite your case via Enact. We did in fact obtain your mortgage offer on the 27th of April, within 3 working weeks. Unfortunately, we faced extraordinary delays due to Enact providing incorrect paperwork, constant errors & their failure to obtain required information from the HTB Organisation Lenvi. This was unfortunately out of our control Ocean Mortgages makes every effort to ensure the smoothest of applications, arrangements and approvals as can be seen by the many positive reviews here on Trust Pilot. We are sorry our team were unable to ensure a seamless application of this occasion.

GoogleI am extremely disappointed with this rental agency. They have shown a complete lack of responsibility. Our rented property had a malfunctioning water heater in the freezing winter, and they have done nothing to address it. Their response was simply to wait, and one week passed, no any response on our issue, which has now resulted in my boyfriend falling ill due to the cold showers. This is the worst letting company！Don’t come! Don’t come to this awful company!

Every effort has been made to expedite the situation, we regret this was not sufficiently communicated to you in real-time. The boiler issues were compounded by the landlord’s choice of using an insurance company to resolve matters. We are of course very pleased the boiler is now working sufficiently well. We understand quotes for a replacement are currently being reviewed. The property management team will continue to liaise with the Landlord and monitor the situation.
