Great service from start to finish. Ashleigh Westcott-Egan was very professional and dealt with every query quickly and professionally. She was a joy to work with. Very lovely young lady who returned every concern with answer and reassurance. She was on the ball with everything and made the whole experience so much easier knowing I had her a email or phone call away. They are very lucky to have her. Definitely recommend them.

Our experience with Ocean Letting and Management has been great. William Jenkins has been handling our viewings and applications and has been incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the process. He has responded to our questions very quickly through both email and phone, and has kept us frequently updated whilst we waited for things to progress. The process has been very professional and straightforward and we would thoroughly recommend.

Although I've only just started the process with Ocean Estate both Tommy and Will have been really friendly and genuinely seem happy to help me with any queries I have. Everything is resolved in a timely fashion with no hesitation and unlike other Estate/Lettings agents I've worked with, they seem like they actually want to provide a good service to their customers rather than using the market to stiff-arm tenants into agreements that suit them.

Steve and team were incredibly proactive in marketing the sale of my property, going above and beyond as I was trying to secure my onwards purchase - ecaluation on a Friday, photographer on the Monday and live on Rightmove on the Tuesday. The sales brochure and photographs were excellent. Ocean secured several offers on my property, with offer accepted 3 days after listing - working at an incredible pace. Perhaps most importantly, securing a very good price. Really personable and friendly team. Steve has always been very happy to help and provide advice on my onwards purchase, often out of hours - which has been much appreciated. Even better ifs for me, would be enhanced clarification of buyers positions; smoother handling of offers (such that it reduces the pressure on the seller) and a more proactive approach to the management of the end to end sale (as was adopted at onboarding/listing). GoogleThe team at Ocean Estate Agents in Knowle were exemplary. We can't speak highly enough of the care, quality, and professionalism they showed from start to finish. From the first meeting for a valuation, to the quality of images and advertising, to the sound and honest advice we received dealing with various situations; it was all superb. Ours was a complicated, drawn-out, and emotionally charged sale, which saw completion only on the third attempt and after 12-months. Each member of the team that we dealt with was reassuring, compassionate, and professional. A heartfelt thank you from us for getting us to the finish line, eventually. Highly recommend!

GoogleI am in the process of selling my flat I have found all of the staff that I have come into contact with to be helpful and supportive Leyla Gould was the person who dealt with the marketing It was a difficult job as the tenants made life very difficult, putting it mildly, as regards viewings. Despite this Leyla was at all times professional. She showed resilience and patience in her dealings with the tenants demands She respected their wishes and continued to arrange viewings despite the restrictions imposed by the tenants. I really appreciated the way Leyla approached the marketing It made the process much less stressful I am happy to say that the sale is now proceeding. Without a doubt I would use Ocean again and I would always ask for Leyla to do the marketing Trish Ireland

The conveyancing team at Ocean were great people to deal with in the sale of my Flat , any contact I made and emails sent were answered swiftly by the team .Very professional from start to finish.We had a delay because of the buyers solicitor not being responsive enough but the pressure was kept on by the team at Ocean and we got the sale done . If not a little longer than expected because of the buyers side .I highly recommend Ocean Property Lawyers .There are many Conveyancing Lawyers out there that frankly do not respond at all to emails for days even weeks .Ocean is not one of them and I recommend them highly .Contact is key and Ocean kept up contact at all times Thank you to Lily , Tom ,Jenny and the team .

Very impressed with the knowledge and guidance shared when putting our house on the market. House was extremely well marketed and sold within the first weekend of viewing. Our initial search criteria was very specific and we struggled to find what we were looking for. We had a change in heart and wanted to look at a project. Joe was amazing. Got us in to view the house within 24 hours and our offer accepted within the week. The team were so supportive throughout the process. Highly recommended and will use again (no rush mind to move any time soon as we have purchased our dream forever home)

Absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. If you want to sell your house use them as last option, please find in the review below why. I have sold my house with them couple of weeks ago (07/08/2024). Firstly they have never placed sign in front to show that the house is for sale, most likely thats why i had just 3 viewings for the first few weeks and two of them were the same family. Then the sales agent has blocked my email so i wasn`t able to send him emails ?!? After that when me and the buyer have agreed with the offer the offer looks like the so called "price negotiator” have said to the buyer that my furnitures are included in the price in case that i have clearly stated to her that we can discuss with the buyer separate price for the furnitures if he wants them. I have found out that 3 months later when the solicitors asked me which furnitures are included so i have been forced to sell my house with the furnitures because the “price negotiator said so"!!! I have been asked from them to provide evaluation which is valid for 3 months and they didn`t managed to get everything done in those 3 months period and at the end they has blackmailed me to move out from the house in 24h or i need to do (pay) a new evaluation!!! Their moving manager has sent me an email (on 12/07/2024) saying that everything is ready and they are coming to me with suggestion for completition date (24/07/2024) which “will give enough time to the solicitors to finalise the documents" and after that they have failed to meet the date which they have suggested to me. As a result i had to pay mortgage for one more month, council tax and “more enquiries” which accidentally popped up!!! And all of this is in case that me and the buyer were using them as our solicitors, so you can imagine what kind of communication they have got between themselves… After the sale i have asked them for the branch manager to contact me, so i can discuss the above with him/her, instead they have started to passing me between themselves. Thats mean that there is nobody to take responsibilities of what they are doing… Absolutely rude and disgusting behaviour by their unprofessional staff.To summarize, i have chosen them because they have offered lower commission than the other agencies and at the end of the day is my fault that i have chosen them, but when i calculated everything i have payed more money than i had to pay with another normal and professional agency... I hope my experience will prevent someone else to end in the same situation like me… The most polite thing what i can say is that this is not a good and reliable agency, use it as a last option if you have unlimited time and money to sell your property

Additionally, we find your comments puzzling for several reasons.Regarding the initial slow progress, you chose to list the property at a price higher than our recommended valuation. Our suggested asking prices are based on the most recent local sales evidence and the unique features of each property. As the local market leader, we have multiple comparable sales prices to determine the optimal asking price. Once the price was reduced, activity increased, and we successfully agreed a selling price.Regarding the email issue, we did not block your emails. We take great exception to this insinuation. It appears there was a filter via your email service that blocked our messages. You may recall that we spent time with you in person at our office, trying to resolve this issue by sending emails while you were present, demonstrating that emails were blocked by your server.Regarding the furniture items, when we first met, you mentioned you were leaving the country and needed to sell the house with all of the furniture included if possible, which we accomplished for you. This was discussed in detail and agreed upon when the offer was presented. Furthermore, this was confirmed in writing on the 'Memorandum of Sale' and subsequent conveyancing documentation.Regarding communications with the office following the sale completion, you requested to speak with the Branch Manager. As this was regarding a sale, Stefano, the Associate Sales Director, called you personally, but you refused to speak with him. Liam, the Assistant Manager, also called, and you declined to speak with him. You were also provided with the conveyancing contacts so that you could discuss all matters with the appropriate persons.We regret that you have left a 1-star review, however we refute your claims in this instance.Regards, Ocean

Ashleigh Westcott-Egan and Simon Lack were brilliant!We instructed Ashleigh to deal with the conveyancing for our sale and onward purchase and she always responded to my many emails and phone calls, which i found extremely reassuring in what turned out to be a much longer process than anticipated (purely due to a separate incompetent solicitor in the chain). She was patient and calm with us and was always available for questions. She got us to a position of being able to exchange very quickly, sadly this was delayed due to another in the chain which was out of Ashleighs control.Simon sorted out mortgage for us, he was also always available for questions, sorted us out with a decent mortgage considering current circumstances and very thorough. He kept in touch throughout the whole process.We would definitely use them both again and highly recommend!!

I feel that I need to reply to the recent message from Ocean after their investigation. After we have had such an appalling experience from Ocean we are now being subjected with lies. Any bad comments we made were justified. First of all, Ocean were not the 4th local agent we instructed, so that is wrong. The first Estate Agent we instructed sold at a good price but unfortunately fell through due to us being unable to find a suitable property. We then instructed another Estate Agent but could not sell with them so decided to go with Ocean.There was a significant lack of communication from the start. All appointments for viewings were sent by text and when we called the office to get information about the people viewing our house, the majority of the time nobody had any further details to give us as it seemed they didn’t bother to find this information out and were also quite short with us on the phone and made us feel that we were bothering them, so it made us quite uncomfortable to phone them or even go into their branch as one time one of the staff rolled their eyes at us when we came in to ask for more information. The only nice person that was there was a lady called Emma who was the office Administrator and she tried to help us when she saw how upset I was. Unfortunately she has now left. There was even one time after a viewing that one of the Agents left our front door unlocked but we didn’t even mention it, just to not cause a fuss. We were never rude to anybody but understandably frustrated by the bad service and am astounded by the comments made by Ocean which are untrue. In fact since our time with Ocean we have had other people tell us what bad experiences they have also had, just wish we knew that before.

I recently used Ocean to let my property and have been delighted by the service from the Ocean team. From initial enquiry to finalising the tenancy, Scott and the team at Ocean have been excellent. Specifically, they communicated well and were responsive to emerging queries/issues. Within a week of marketing the property, Ocean secured a selection of high quality tenants and handled the end to end process of getting them into the property. I'd like to specifically thank Jemima for her diligence in finding great tenants in a short space of time and James and Sarah for their additional support. I have full confidence in the Ocean team and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other landlords.

Ocean Estate Agents at Bradley Stoke were a good choice. Their experience and good local knowledge meant we got the property on the market at a realistic price,attracting lots of interest, and after a concentrated day of viewings, we had a bunch of offers. The team there werre friendly and efficient, and commumicated swiftly.We used Oceal Legal for convenience and to keep things in-house. The process seemed unduly long for a simple transaction with no chain at either end, but we got there eventually. There was a whopping £48 charge to transfer the funds after sale, which we hadn't spotted in the small print, and seems comparatively excessive.Overall, a positive experience, and I'd use Ocean Estate Agents again.

I used Ocean for conveyancing on a new build flat as recommended specialists. The team were polite but sub-par on the details and I don't think best represented my interests. I'm not sure the contract had even been read prior to sending on to me; I had to go through in detail to pick up references to clauses that didn't exist and press hard for an accurate specification document. The contract feels weighted towards the vendor and the spec lacks the detail necessary to cover for a couple of disappointing elements in the final product (including EPC rating and flooring). Would use a different conveyancer in future.

Edit: I have just read Ocean’s reply to my review. The agency outright refused to manage any issues as I was no longer a client. I would have happily deposited funds with them had I been given the option. Original review: Letting the property with Ocean was fine, but the management of the property left a lot to be desired. Ocean do not vet their contractors properly, nor do they check the quality of the work. I paid £10,000 to have a house redecorated and when I complained about the work done the management team refused to visit the property to inspect it. As a result I found a new agent to let and manage my properties. The last property with Ocean was vacated today and the tenants have left a lot of issues. Ocean is refusing to deal with the issues because they no longer “manage” the property. Very unethical and money-grabbing company.
