GoogleTheir name says it all - "Sure". We had previously marketed our property with another agent, who promised a very high rental value..... but 3 months on, had not been able to find a tenant. A good friend of mine recommended Sure, especially Kate. Kate told me straight away that rent was too high, suggested a revised rate (which sounded perfectly reasonable to me), and dealt with some big issues without even breaking stride. She managed to secure a wonderful new tenant within 1 week of (extremely good) marketing. I'm lucky that I found Kate and Sure, and I have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone who wants to rent or let a property.

GoogleI really cannot rate Kate and the team at Sure Property solutions high enough. As a first time buyer I struggled with other estate agents but Kate made it feel as positive as possible throughout whilst being realistic and open. She was always in communication and easy to get hold of but most of all she was supportive and delivered a really personalised service. The contacts she has recommended have all been great and I have continued to use their service since the completion.

GoogleSure Property Solutions were great for the entire time of our tenancy. As a group of students it's often difficult to find an agency who respond and deal with problems as quickly as Sure did. I would not hesitate to recommend Sure to anyone, especially students who are looking for an agency they can trust. Both Zena and Kelly were amazingly helpful throughout our tenancy and we will really miss both the house and their great service.

GoogleSure have been an absolute dream to deal with at every stage of the process. Kate was very good and by far the most genuiene person to show me a property. Kelly has been amazing all the way through and always respond to emails on the same day which really is a breath of fresh air. It is nice to deal with an agency where you feel they have your best interests at heart rather than monetary gain. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I will be doing just that. GoogleWe bought our house through Sure and throughout the whole process Kate was amazing. She kept us regularly informed on the progress and was always willing to answer questions and give us any help or guidance needed. I was 8 months pregnant when we were due to exchange and so there was an urgency to make sure it was done before Christmas so we could complete and move in the New Year. Kate pushed the solicitors throughout the chain and fought our corner to make sure it was all on track and was an absolute rock throughout our anxious panics! We would completely recommend using Sure as we cannot fault any part of their service and they definitely went above and beyond.

GoogleWe have just begun renting a flat through Sure Property had have had a great experience so far. We were shown around the property by a lovey guy called Adam who took the time to answer all of our questions and was extremely patient with me over the next few days while I bombarded him with questions over the phone! Zena was a great help while moving in and we were very appreciative of the fact that she met us at the property for us to collect our keys so that she could walk us through the inventory - we haven't had this from other letting agencies in the past and this extra touch didn't go unnoticed. I have also dealt with Luke and Kelly via phone and email who were both very professional and quick to respond to my questions. Would recommend, especially for those who have pets!

GoogleI experienced significant issues with damp and mold during my tenancy, which persisted for around 4/5 months. While Sure Property worked with the building on the issue (a leak), the delay in fixing it impacted my quality of life and comfort. I repeatedly raised concerns about the problem, but the response often felt slow. I decided to terminate my tenancy at the end of the agreement, and the repairs were made for the next tenant.

GoogleIf you are a student look to rent in Brighton, avoid this company at all costs. Throughout our year renting with them, this company have been totally incompetent in ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out in an acceptable amount of time. At the end of the year, they attempted to make large deductions from our deposits, which partly was for general wear & tear (which is not allowed), and also accused us of causing damage that we reported as already existing at the start of the tenancy. After rejecting their deposit deductions and raising them for independent appeal with the TDS, Sure Property submitted a false check-out report to the TDS, containing items that had been damaged or were unclean that didn't even exist in the house we rented - a report that we had also never previously seen and was created the day before they submitted it to the TDS (not at the time they actually completed the checkout, a month earlier). Zena Trow, the MD of Sure Property, was somewhat rude to us about a few non-essential maintenance related items during the year that we had enquired about, had granted initially, but later rejected without reason. It was also her name that appeared to have created the fraudulent checkout report, submitted to the TDS at the end of tenancy. Luckily, the TDS did see through all of the unjustified deposit deductions and gave us our money for these back, though we would not have received this if (like many students may not have) we did not insist on appealing with the TDS. If you are students, save yourself the time and effort, and just avoid this fraudulent company with its scummy management staff in the first place.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
Matthew, I have tried to call you to discuss your comments but in the interest of protecting our integrity I will make a defence. I would ask that your claim regarding the submission of a false or fraudulent check out report be removed. You claim this document was created by myself having checked the metadata within the document. I did not deal with your check out, this was carried out and managed to dispute stage by a colleague. I am however, the Director of the company, I own the computer hence why the document appears to have been created by me as the computer is registered in my name. This does not make it false. My colleague had typed up his check out report to submit this as evidence, this is normal practice and perfectly acceptable. I can also see that the landlord won the majority of the claim for cleaning. With regard to maintenance items. We dealt with lengthy emails from you throughout your tenancy. I was always happy to help, timely in my replies and polite. All issues were dealt with, I have checked the maintenance logs. The landlords were overseas and we must always take instructions. Some of the requests as you say were non-essential and often in excess. That said the landlord met with most of your requests and any essential maintenance carried out promptly. You were not charge for anything deemed wear and tear, this is unlawful. The bills inclusive provider had made errors in calculating your final bill but I understand this was resolved and the charge removed. This is however, a third party error and my colleague worked to have this corrected for you.

GoogleSure Property Solutions are a gem of a company. I let my property through them for 7 years and they then found a buyer for the sale of the property. Throughout this time they have been professional, proactive, responsive and a pleasure to do business with. Zena Trow is a great MD and Kate Bennett a superb Branch Manager. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

GoogleKate and Zena have been fantastic to work with for both the sale of my property and new purchase. They’ve been so supportive, proactive and communicative it what has been a bumpy process (due to third parties, not Sure). They’ve helped me overcome challenges from numerous paperwork errors on the mortgage company’s part, keeping everyone in the chain reassured despite delays. I went with an online estate agent in the past to save money and because I didn’t feel any of the estate agents I met at the time would work with me in a genuine partnership. Sure have totally changed my mind and I can’t recommend them enough. We get the keys to our new property this week and couldn’t have done it without them!

GoogleI’ve used Sure as a landlord for the last two years, and would highly recommend the company. They got me my first tenant literally within a day or two and he stayed for two years and left the property in pretty much as good, if not better state than before, even planting roses in the garden! Sure conducted regular checks and maintenance was really good, pointing out before the tenancy began any things which needed done and doing these at a reasonable rate, and during the tenancy (though these were very few). On looking for new tenants, very professional looking photos were taken, resulting in immediate strong interest from many people. I stayed one day and met many of the potential tenants, who were lovely (the company vets its clients first), and I felt that pretty much all of them would be good and take care of the flat, and some were a delight to meet! My flat definitely has improved since Sure have taken it on, and all the staff are friendly and very nice to deal with, would highly recommend.
