As first-time buyers, my partner and I were nervous about buying our first home and not sure what to expect or how to move through all of the steps. Dan has been absolutely fantastic to work with from the word go, when he first showed us round our dream home. He has been kind, professional, quick to act on everything, a great go-between with our vendors and very sensitive to our needs. Dan really took the fear factor out of the equation for us, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kendricks. Paul, the owner, was also fantastic to work with. At no point did we feel pressured to take on in-house services, unlike other agents we dealt with. Kendricks provide an ethical, friendly and very responsive service. Five stars doesn't seem enough!

Best estate agent to buy or sale with! We have just sold our flat through Kendrick's, and our agent Dan went above and beyond to make sure everything went well for us and our buyers. We bought this flat three years ago via Kendrick's, with Dan as our agent and he did a great job then, so when we decided to sale, selling through Kendrick's was a very easy decision.

Avoid Kendricks at all costs. One would think that manners would come naturally to a customer service job however, not with these guys. As a tennant, they have frequently made me feel victimised and come across very rude on correspondence. They seem to not have a clue about anything, like when we were certain that there was a plumbing issue in the toilet due to a consistent odour and they directed us to buy an air freshener. I’ve never seen such a patronising tone from someone who is meant to be a professional. Also best of luck if you visit the lettings office on Lewes Road, they are so rude and hostile that they won’t even notice you’ve walked through the door. I wouldn’t even recommend Kendricks to my worst enemy - that’s how disgraceful they are.

Kendricks are a shocking service to rent with if you are a student. They appear disinterested and they treat you as though you are an inconvenience. One instance is when a heavy metal plate fell out of our fireplace and they instructed us to wedge it back up the chimney ourselves. This resulted in the metal plate falling back out shortly after straight onto my fingers! Also when you enter their site they don't acknowledge you have arrived and you have to physically walk up to someone at their desk and wave in their face for attention. Will NEVER recommend Kendricks to anyone.

Don't use them if you're a student, they have you in and out of a property viewing within 5 minutes and charge costly admin fees for deposits/property holding etc. Had to be persistent with them if we had an issue with the property, which we did! House was one of the few decent 'student' houses out there but they were reluctant to change our faulty boiler etc (took months to get sorted). We were also deducted a big chunk of our deposit for cleaning fees when there was only minimal dust and little or no changes to the original state it was given to us in. On a side note the maintenance guy only was prompt and friendly! Would advise that future tenants attend their moving out inspection so that they don't get stung with incredibly stupid deductions.

We sold our property through Kendricks and both Dan and Paul were extremely helpful throughout what was a really stressful period of around 3 years. We'd sold 3 times and each time the buyer fell through. But we never felt that they gave up and were always pushing the sale through. We now have a wonderful new house and are very grateful for all that Kendricks did.

Kendrick Property Service is horrible.The most horrible and pathetic Property service that I have ever come across. Any opportunity that you get to go with another agency in Brighton definitely go for them and AVOID these people at all costs. They came into my house without my permission and I asked one of their "proffessional" staff over the phone how many people came into my home without my knowldge and she replied "I dont know" very nonchalantly. I asked to speak to a manager because the phone call was going nowhere. The manager was even more unprofessional and was exremely rude to me. ive been struggling With a mold problem and they dont fix any thing. I was threatned over the phone. Any international students or anyone coming from different countries stay away from them they are very racist. They are unprofessional and will do nothing to help you if you have a problem.
