GoogleJamie is simply the best advisor. Moving homes is quite stressful and he helps take all that away. His advice is clear and to the point. He doesn’t use any crazy jargon and always makes us feel safe and confident that we are making the best informed decision. We met him when purchasing our first flat 3 years ago and decided to go back to him when moving now in 2022. By far the best decision we made. Thank you Jamie!

GoogleJamie was invaluable in our search for our first home. We had no knowledge or experience of buying but The whole process ran smoothly from start to end because of Jamie’s advice and support throughout. When we couldn’t get hold of people or didn’t understand a document, Jamie was quick and responsive in assisting us and we were able to get the ball rolling again. Jamie was also reliable throughout the process and we were always able to reach him by email or phone. This was much appreciated while we were navigating the sale, especially during Covid-19 when a lot of services were slowing down and/ or closing and contact was often difficult. We can’t thank Jamie enough for his guidance and support and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else looking to buy a home.

GoogleI had a great experience with Foxs and sons (Hove church road branch) they were professional and extremely helpful. Every time i had a question or was unsure about anything they were very quick to reply via email. i would recommended Fox and sons especially as new buyers and not knowing a lot about what needed to be done they supported me well through the whole process. I used Jamie Elvin the in house mortgage adviser who was brilliant and really easy to work with, also Keira Jarvis was also amazing and really persistent making sure the sale got pushed through. cant thank them enough.

GoogleJamie Elvin has been my mortgage advisor through what has been (due to many factors not at all related with my mortgage!) a very long and drawn out flat buying process. He has been extremely patient and helpful throughout the process, offering me advice and guidance on areas which were well outside the mortgage. He has fantastic knowledge of the Brighton property market, and knows what to look out for or avoid. He has always been easily contactable and I have found his colleagues at Fox & Sons to be equally helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend Jamie and Fox & Sons to anyone who needs a mortgage or help finding a new home in Brighton.

GoogleGenuinely if I could give 6 stars I would. It's been 15 years since we last moved and Darren and the team held our hands every step of the way. He was so genuine and very honest about what he could / couldn't deliver, but totally exceeded our expectations. It's hard to believe this is a chain, as the team are very dedicated to the people of Hove & have brilliant insights into the local market. Having said that, you get the massive benefit of their huge network across London and beyond, attracting great Buyers. I honestly can't thank Darren, Keira and everyone in the office enough for all their help and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

GoogleJamie Elvin has been our mortgage broker for the last 3 years and has been incredibly reliable and helpful. He has always found great deals and given advice on not only our current mortgage but options for buying and selling in the future. We have had a difficult time with multiple chains falling through and he has been a beacon of good advice and honesty. Fox and sons in general have a wonderful team, including Georgia Radford who was incredible last year in helping us to find a buyer for our flat. I would recommend their team highly !

Please avoid this unprofessional office in Hastings. Thought it was weird that my requests was not followed through. Been waiting to speak to a manager for a week. Nothing, called back. It was obvious the fella did not pass on my message. Not responded to emails. When challenged, he was happy to tell me he didnt like me. Think it was the colour of my skin.Update Foxs and sons are questioning my review. Trustpilot want evidence. My complaint was done over the phone. The company did not address my complaint in writing. As i advised trustpilot. Whoever is challenging this has not contacted the branch manager who i spoke to at length and arranged for someone to value my property last week. Perhaps they should do their own checks before they challenge my experience. After this insult. I wont be putting any business their way. Pure cowboys. Minus any stars

I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with Fox and Sons Peacehaven branch and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would.This is the first time that I have had to sell and buy a home in 20 years. I'm a single mum to 3 children under 10 so time and working to my schedule was so important to me.At the start of the process I felt completely out of my depth and had no idea where to start but they made me feel at ease straight away.The whole team at the branch have just been incredible. The process has been fast, efficient, smooth and professional. I have been kept updated at all times and everyone has been so approachable and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble, even when I took my 3 children on a viewing.The service was so good that I even used their mortgage advisor, Jonathan, and the service provided has been incredible.I would particularly like to thank Tom and Alice for their patience and understanding especially with the amount of questions that I had. They always got back to me quickly with the answers and explained things in terms that I understood.Thank all for the work you have done for me. Excellent - superlative even - service and help from Grace at Kemptown/Brighton Fox&Sons. Grace was super efficient, dealt with a myriad of inquiries and was always on hand and on top of everything re. an offer on a property in Kemptown.Having dealt with a lot - I mean a lot - of estate agents in Brighton - which is enjoying a property boom - I can hand on heart say that even though most are lovely - it really stands out when you have got someone who a) isn't trying to flog you something you don't want and b) who is doing their job so well - they actually look out for what you are not thinking about or seeing in the process of looking at a property to buy. It is HUGELY helpful when an estate agent is that thorough and cares about their job so much - and of course this is so conducive to you wanting to do business with them.I totally get that estate agents get cynical and jaded as they do their job year after year - it must be exhausting - but when you have someone so on the ball and preempting what you are missing, and not thinking about, it makes all the difference.Thank you Fox&Sons - and Grace in particular. Do not use Fox & Sons in house conveyancing firm. I’m not a Fox & Sons customer but our buyer is (as that is their agent) and they’ve held up our chain for months. We agreed a sale in October 2024, it was discovered in January 2025 that our buyer needed an amendment to their lease on their leasehold property before they could sell it (a deed of variation) three months later to today, only now has the Fox & Sons conveyancing firm read the leases properly and determined what they need to do and there is still no end in sight. All in our chain has needlessly been put to extra stamp duty cost, the cost of arranging a new mortgage offer because previous ones have expired, we’ve had houses in the chain being re marketed, causing further stress. Our solicitor told me today that they have three chains including ours that are all stuck and going nowhere due to a deed of variation, and guess what, every one of those chains has the same Fox & Sons conveyancing firm handling the deed of variation. They clearly don’t know what they’re doing and I would suggest unless you want to waste your money on delays, and be stressed beyond belief, do not use Fox & Sons in house conveyancing. I don’t normally post reviews, if I get bad service, I simply don’t go back. However, on this occasion, I’m getting bad service that is costing me and others in our chain more money, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Not only did they deliver a sale price which exceeded expectations, they managed the whole process in a very professional manner and were always on hand to assist. Keira Jarvis was excellent at managing the process and was very friendly and professional throughout. They also secured our mortgage and Jamie Elvin was excellent in this regard, even stepping in to undertake estate agency duties while his colleagues were away during the Christmas period.
