Amazing service from Abi.

We had to find a rental for a short term very quickly with the added potential complexity of it being furnished. I contacted so many estate agents with little reply. We had a prompt, professional and efficient service from cubit and West in North end. Abbie was our contact and she was so kind and did everything she could for us. We were unable due to isolation to physically see the property so we had a video call arranged which meant that we still not miss out on the property. When we went in to sign contracts and pay our deposits it was pain free and done easily so and so I can't help but leave a glowing review. Thank you.

We chose to use Cubitt & West Fiveways to sell our flat as we had bought the flat from them five years earlier and had been impressed. We were not disappointed - from the very beginning, our experience was excellent. The photographs and marketing of the flat were very high quality and we had multiple viewings leading to offers on our open day. Unfortunately, due to Covid, our chain fell through more than once for reasons out of our control. Every time, the team at Cubitt and West Fiveways were reassuring and found us new buyers very quickly. Each member of staff was highly professional and friendly - we always felt valued and knew everyone had our best interests in mind, rather than simply looking for a quick sale. The team were very communicative, gave great advice and were easy to get hold of whenever we had a question. During the time that we were selling, we mostly dealt with Ebba Morley, the senior branch manager. Ebba was incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, professional and kind - she went above and beyond to help us secure the right buyer and even advised us with our onward purchase which was through a different estate agent. We recently purchased a flat marketed by this estate agent, they were very professional and made the whole experience positive. From the first point of contact we made to organise a viewing through to exchange, it has been remarkably smooth. This was down to the staff being efficient and following up on things. They kept us in touch throughout which I appreciated. Compared to a previous experience with a property sale this was different class. Dear All New Potential Property…

Dear All New Potential Property Clients,Please steer well clear of Cubitt and West.I recently requested to rent a property and requested a copy of their application process and timing before making any deposit. This information was not provided and eventually managed to get the requirements only by telephone.We made our deposit based on the confirmation of the details that we provided we were told were acceptable to rent a property.We then received a credit check and to our surprise I had CCJ listed against my name in November 2019 from back in 2012! There was not letter informing us about this claim as I now currently work abroad since 2017.Cubitt told my wife that our application had been cancelled and that they were keeping our deposit of 320 GBP. My wife is now left homeless with 2 young children and the agent did not want to discuss anything further.You have all read this post and advised to be careful or best still to avoid this agent!I know they will counter this post with some old story they have made up., but please don''t believe a word of what they say.I am not the only customer who has had a bad experience with this agent if you carryout a google search there are thousands of people who had the same bad experience as myself.Stephen J PickingConsultant

Wouldn’t use any other estate agent!

After meeting Michelle we didn’t get any other estate agents in. Straight away we took to her open and honest nature. We didn’t want the usual estate agent nonsense and she was up front with all information and costs. As soon as we signed things moved quickly and met the members of staff who were selling our home. Both Leonie and Chevan were lovely and we felt confident they were looking after our best interests. Unfortunately our first buyer fell through, but this didn’t cause a problem as Leonie stayed late to re-market our property, within days we had another buyer thanks to C & W. We’ve now finally exchanged thanks to Lindy who’s been negotiating between us and the buyer to the end. From start to finish I would definitely recommend C & W Redhill.

I have recently bought a house through the Cranleigh branch of Cubitt and West. I have found the whole team to be extremely helpful (Kerry-Ann, Ross and Pam) however I would like to thank Lindy Cunningham in particular as my sales progresser, based in Redhill, who has been really kind and patient with me as I have gone through this process during a difficult time. I have found the purchase stressful but she has answered my calls courteously and promptly along with my emails, chased up numerous queries and I feel has added the personal touch to the whole process. I am very happy with the service that Cubitt and West has provided and indeed I will be moving into my new house within the next fortnight which is both a relief and a joy.

Big shout out to the Horley branch

We would like to say a huge thank you to Siobhan and Ellie at the Horley branch.From the moment Siobhan came round for our first meeting we knew we were in good hands. She was very professional, friendly and made us feel at ease straight away.Selling a property is stressful enough but we were selling two. Siobhan and Ellie have taken a lot of the stress out of it by keeping in constant contact with us and giving us feedback after each viewing.We were always made to feel we were important and nothing was too much trouble. Ellie even popped round one evening after work to take some more photos as my partner wanted some more added. Kerry-Ann sold my parents’ house to them back in 2006 and then sold it for them again in 2021. The reason they chose Kerry-Ann and Cubitt & West this year was because they remembered her clearly and the excellent service 15 years ago. She was totally professional, extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable, candid, proactive, and went out of her way to make the process easy for my elderly parents who were both shielding much of the time.
