I can never seem to be able to log into my account even though I have continued with google. I managed to get in once by leaving a review and then submitted my application, then afterwards I cant get back in nor could I search this platform? I have not experience anything similar on other sites. my connection is good and if this is a bug, why is this happening again a few years after i used this site?

TrustpilotPoorly designed and lacking filters
Constantly having to provide information to the website, which I already did, just to use it.. isn't really great for a user experience. More so when its a buggy mess and seems to lack many options.Lastly.. when selecting a industry.. you do not even have Education listed.. quite a huge amount of us work in this industry called 'Education'.Baffles me the site has such poor filtering.

TrustpilotSpam site just trying to get all your information
Trying to read reviews for a business and I am constantly being asked to sign in or up. I have had to sign up and now when I try to read the reviews page it won't let me and constantly blocks my view asking me to give my salary and where I work.I just want to see the reviews of the business I don't want to fill out all of my work history and information.I have given up with this site what should take a few seconds turned into some fact find on me.

TrustpilotPR Website for Employers Who Pay Them
This website isn't to be trusted at all as it's basically just a marketing website for employers who pay them a hefty fee to use to promote themselves. It's not a place where employees can share their honest opinions or read accurate reviews of how employers treat their staff and the overall staff experience in general.Glassdoor just deletes truthful negative reviews in favour of keeping the employer (who pays them) in a positive light and doesn't care about honesty, transparency and how employees really feel.Similarly, if an employer doesn't pay them, they will allow as many negative reviews for that employer as possible unless the employer starts paying them.

TrustpilotTerrible Business and Website
The website and company have steadily got worse and worse over the last 12 months to the point I've deleted my profile for good. This came just a couple of months ago when I posted an honest but mostly negative review of an employer I had worked for. The following day I received an email that my review had been removed and flagged for the "suggestion I was a fake employee as it had come to their attention and most likely had never worked at the company". I contacted Glassdoor through their customer contact portal and asked for an explanation. They replied the following day and just repeated that I was a fake employee as brought to their attention and stuff like they protect employers and employees and cannot be brought off and paid by employers that try to protect their image. I replied by saying exactly that is what it looks like, they've clearly been paid off by the employer and possibly with my personal details you are required to pass to Glassdoor before you can post reviews - I've been recognised and pointed out by the employer with Glassdoor's help, since they seem very positive who I am. I also offered to share and attached my tax code and company wage slips to prove I've been employed by this company within the last 12 months, yet Glassdoor refused this option and sticking with my post removal. As I believed this is the case, I've just deleted my account as it was now compromised. I will say to everyone, just beware of this business and what you have to share with them, they will use it against you and will not protect you whatsoever. Avoid them.

The website Is awful. All I wanted to do was to search for reviews on selected companies but to do so, I had to create an account, put my working details in, put a review and list my current salary.Do not create an account or visit the website

TrustpilotThe most useless website there is
I went on here to read reviews about a company with whom I have a job interview lined up. Instead everytime I try and read the reviews, a pop up box comes up asking me what my role is, what my salary is, advising I have to sign in to continue reading. I don't want to sign up or create an account and I certainly don't want to fill in information about myself. All I wanted was to read some employee reviews so I could gage whether or not to accept the job if I am successful at interview.Useless website, Needless to say I didn't get anywhere.

TrustpilotIf I could give zero then I would
If I could give zero then I would. This website is ridiculous. I am all up for Free Speech but when you have had to let an employee go for reasons that we can't discuss online and they are given a forum to completely negate any goodness we do as a company, I think it's crazy. You can't even accurately contest reviews without evidence. This website is a sister company to Indeed and I can tell you right now, that I will NEVER advertise any job roles with Glassdoor or Indeed ever again!!

TrustpilotBribe us why don't you
Glassdoor's services are based on bribery. You can't view anything without being forced to complete a time consuming review of your company - perhaps I don't want to give a review. Forcing people to review will generate poor data, greatly misrepresenting companies, flawing Glassdoor's own actual purpose.

TrustpilotExclusionary content wall
Unable to access content without a self-declared (in the url) content wall in which you need to add multitudes of personal information about where you work, your salary, and a compulsory review of your employer. It excludes people who are unemployed, self employed, or those who simply do not wish to give out so much personal information. The site is called Glass Door for goodness sake! Rebrand already. I hope someone sets up an alternative as it's now unuseable.

Don't even visit the website, i looked at one page and so far its taken me 3 days to try and close the account if forced me to sign up to in order to view the page, I wouldnt let me manually delete the account so I had to email them, I then had to fill in another form to request they delete my details, which triggered another email, that had a link I had to click to verify my email address, it then sent another email telling me to await further instructions... FFS I just wanted to look at ONE PAGE...3 days ago!!!absolutely absymal experience....complete with cut/paste emails from customer "service"

TrustpilotHelpful, but generally not great
I utilise Glassdoor only to review companies, as it has a sophisticated system in order to flag down companies, even if you’ve just interviewed there and nothing more. The anonymity of the engine isn’t great though, and the rest of the app doesn’t compare well to other job search engine giants. Use this app as a supplement to your job search but don’t take it too seriously unless reviewing, and even then be cautious so that employers cannot identify you.

TrustpilotGood at sending unwanted junk emails
I've been in my current position for over 20 years. I am happy and have no intention of moving on. I was therefore surprised when GlassDoor sent me an email. Where have they got my personal email address from? This is a personal email address that only gets given to friends and family. It's never been used for shopping on the Internet or used to register with any company anywhere,I approached GlassDoor to obtain a copy of my personal data that they hold, and to ascertain where they have got that data from. Their response, after completing an identity verification process, is that it would take 30 days to process my request. 30 days? I find it hard to believe that such a company is still using pen, paper and abacuses. They must be - why else would it take 30 days to get access to my data?I hate to think how long it must take to register your CV and start looking for a job on this site.

TrustpilotPointless site with questionnable data
The data section of Glassdoor which gives salary benchmark data is simply put "rubbish". Individuals have to jump over so many hoops when accessing the site that they are obviously typing in rubbish information which is then provided as an average. The data is then pointless. The site encourages disgruntled employees to leave reviews, damaging the reputation of companies. It has the audacity to say it only allows reviews within its community guidelines, but when you question a review and given examples of where it contravenes their guidelines, they ignore you. A silly site that contains no substance other than to provide places for advertisers to waste their money on.

TrustpilotWants ALL your employer details…
Wants ALL your employer details including website, boss’ last known movements. Wants your blood type, DNA profile, your last movements, home address, children’s details for an “anonymous” website. Too much, so unhelpful. You don’t need the employers actual name and website for this surely?? So frustrating. Otherwise you get to choose the option of leaving a review of a company which is just as intrusive as the first option. I only wanted to look at salaries, I had no intention of bringing my own employment into it.

TrustpilotLaughable process
From the side of a real employee trying to warn others to avoid a company that allows open bigotry and the awful atmosphere. My review was years old and was taken down recently with no reasoning. I try to reupload it within their guidelines but nothing happens. While they company itself is openly bumping up their reviews with multiple accounts but its not taken down even though it is completely obvious. Dont even bother thinking that it represents real employees

Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
