They remove negative reviews

I have just thoroughly checked, and they have definitely removed my review of my employer. I thought it was strange that my company's rating had magically gone up over night, and it seems that negative reviews my colleagues and I posted have been removed and replaced with clearly fake positive ones. Glassdoor have rendered their whole business completely redundant with this outright lying to people who are just looking for honest reviews before taking on a job. What a disgusting, repugnant company. I really hope Glassdoor goes out of business and is replaced by something honest.

The system feels corrupt.

The system feels corrupt. It's impossible to leave an honest negative review of a company. I've worked for 5 companies in my life, and left positive reviews for 3 of them - those are absolutely untouched. The 2 negative ones are repeatedly removed, sometimes within a week, sometimes after 6 months. It's become apparent that the report/removal system is being monetized by individuals who advertise their negative review removal services on a major video sharing platform. I speculate that it could be a major source of income for Glassdoor to have negative reviews removed for a fee. It's become wholly unreliable for it's intended purpose as negative reviews are rarely allowed to stand. You cannot mention harassment, workplace bullying or low salaries/lower than average salary for a particular industry because Glassdoor will remove the review. They won't tell you why, or allow you to appeal the decision as there is no way to speak to a representative of the company.Thank you TP for your integrity and allowing honest reviews to stand.

Corrupt and dishonest organisation

I left a review on their website, after one month it got deleted, apparently it was not according to their guildelines, after one month of no issue. The problem of the review was that my review was judgemental of that specific company thru criticism.Instead of defending my review, they deleted it for the benefit of that company, so that it does not affect their rating. What a joke you are..One of the most corrupt and fake review website I have ever used.

Dishonest and borderline fraud

I watched a company go from 1.9 stars to 3.9 stars overnight. It went from 16 reviews down to 9, Every bad review just dissapeared . Glassdoor clearly has some sort of policy where companies can just have reviews taken down for no reason (Only bad ones of course) . If you're trying to find out any information about a company before you join then avoid Glassdoor because the ratings are fake and the bad ones have all been deleted

Unreasonable Guidelines

I recently signed up to Glassdoor and formally wrote a negative review about my workplace. I was reasonable, I didn't slander anyone, and I even wrote a positive feedback about my workplace! The next day, my review gets taken down for "violating guidelines". I was honest and polite with my review, and I did not violet any of the guidelines listed, but I was still being falsely accused of posting "inauthentic reviews" and trying to "manipulate the conversation". Terrible experience, and terrible service. Do not get me started on how hard it was trying to deactivate my account!Update 26/1: After successfully deactivating my account, Dawn Middleton randomly reactivated my account! This is absolutely appalling! Do you want me to use your platform or not?! DON'T sign up for this website!

I am a student and months ago I used this website for research on a project. Recently I needed to go back and get one screenshot to get evidence of my research. The website tried to get me to make a account, would not let me look at BASIC INFORMATION without one. When I tried to backspace out of this they MADE ME leave a review of a work place. I HAVE NEVER BEEN EMPLOYED. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME????? After trying to lie about a work place (all of this for ONE SCREENSHOT) and eventually getting through that incredibly long process it told me I had to leave ANOTHER before I could even TOUCH the website. I refreshed the page one more time only to find that half of the UI was missing and I could not even access the page I needed. Awful awful awful.

I reported a few reviews for the company I work for because they were clearly not for the correct company (both companies have the same name but two very different industries). Glassdoor said that the reviews were acceptable and would remain...They also set my profile to the wrong company and then would only let me change it if I told them my work email! No chance. I deleted my account instead

The joining process is complete bullsh1t

The joining process is complete bullsh1t - I have to leave a company review to use the site. I was about to just post a random bs review about a random company, but that makes me think there are probably so many other people like me who have done the same, meaning that using the site is pointless because it is flooded with fake reviews.

Working at The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM)

Working at The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) has been an absolute honor. I have proudly been a part of the ACM team for over 6 years now, and I can confidently say that this organization has brought out the best in me. Thanks to ACM, I have developed excellent professional communication skills that allow me to interact with students, staff, and the public with utmost respect and confidence, within the security department. I have had the privilege of learning from the Chairman, who has shown me how hard work can be both profitable and rewarding. As a proud member of the ACM team, I wholeheartedly recommend anyone who appreciates and values good work to join us at ACM. Trust me, you won't regret it. Thank you. Francis.

Glassdoor is a channel for defamation

Glassdoor is little more than a platform that allows disgruntled ex-employees with an axe to grind the opportunity to libel their previous employer and work colleagues. Outright lies, insults and personal attacks are all accommodated under the “free speech” umbrella by Glassdoor who, in their Ts&Cs, threaten to trash your company’s reputation if you try to hold them accountable.

Bias site

My colleagues and myself posted reviews about our company that gave a true reflection of our work conditions. Because they were negative, they were all removed. Got into contact with Glassdoor and sided with the the employer to remove them. There own site says employers can't get reviews removed. Seem contradictory to me. Contradictory and hypocritical. Bias and fake curating of reviews.

I was asked by my new employer to review them on Glassdoor. Like a fool I did! Despite telling Glassdoor I didn't want to receive emails from them I received marketing emails. Their communication is via a web form which doesn't work. They are SPAMMERS.

Glassdoor A Dubious Platform for Employee Reviews

Glassdoor, once hailed as a beacon of transparency in the realm of employee-employer relationships, has begun to show significant signs of compromise. Recent incidents have raised suspicions that the platform is actively deleting reviews, presumably at the behest of employers. The platform's initial promise was to provide a space for employees to candidly share their experiences, offering prospective job seekers invaluable insights into company cultures, management styles, and overall work environments. However, recent occurrences have cast a shadow over Glassdoor's integrity. Many users have reported their reviews mysteriously disappearing from the platform, without any explanation or notification. This disturbing trend has understandably fueled skepticism about the platform's impartiality and commitment to transparency. While Glassdoor has a system in place for moderating reviews for inappropriate content, the lack of transparency in this process raises concerns.Employers' ability to flag and potentially influence reviews adds another layer of doubt. While it is essential to prevent false or malicious reviews, it is equally vital to maintain an environment where genuine employee experiences can be shared openly and honestly. The opacity surrounding Glassdoor's moderation practices leaves users questioning the authenticity of the platform.Furthermore, some reviews that do make it through the moderation process have been met with skepticism due to their suspiciously positive tone, leading to speculation that these could be generated or influenced by company insiders. This undermines the very purpose of Glassdoor and erodes the trust of its user base.In conclusion, Glassdoor's recent actions raise red flags about its commitment to providing an unbiased platform for employee reviews. The suspected deletion of reviews and potential influence by employers cast a pall over what was once a valuable resource for job seekers. Until Glassdoor takes meaningful steps towards transparency and rectifies these concerns, users should approach the platform with a discerning eye.

I am currently looking for a job and would like to look at reviews for company's I am applying for. Glassdoor won't let you do anything until you have either left a review, or something similar.

A very nefarious company

A very nefarious company. It appears to be a scam. I'm not certain if they take money from the companies that are reviewed, but it appears so. If you leave an honest negative review of a company that you have worked for, it will, sooner or later, be removed.Fake and fraudulent reviews, on the other hand, will remain in pride of place.

Buggy and bias

Besides bowing to pressure from companies to remove negative but truthful reviews, the site itself is flawed. Repeatedly experience issues with logging in. It’s buggy as hell. Reported several times and told their engineers are aware and they’re trying to resolve. Doesn’t matter what browser, network or device. Even registered new account and still same issues.

Google

The worst company I have ever dealt with regards customer service, both pre and post sale. The general quality of the house is good with only minor issue's but getting those issues rectified is a nightmare. For example, I have waited 5 months to get a shower mixer switch changed, 7 months and counting to get a faulty kitchen cupboard fixed. The garden floods in the winter which I complained about in writing, only to be ignored. Would definitely not buy a new house from a Kiegar again, far too stressful.

Remove genuine reviews due to pressure from companies!

I’m extremely disappointed to discover that Glassdoor removes genuine reviews due to pressure from companies. It’s frustrating to see honest feedback being deleted, which defeats the whole purpose of the platform. This kind of behavior undermines trust, and I no longer feel confident in relying on Glassdoor for truthful insights. I won’t be using or trusting this platform anymore.
