GoogleJosh showed us around the house explaining everything, he was very friendly and helpful. Any issue’s were dealt with straight away. Josh was really helpful throughout the whole process. Being first time renters we were a bit nervous but he was able to put our minds at rest. Would definitely recommend

GoogleI have been working with Nicole at Peter Alan Bridgend to find my "forever home". So far, she has shown me three houses. I made multiple offers on the third house (sadly my final offer was rejected, so my search continues). However, I have been so impressed by Nicole. She is professional, courteous, friendly, and very understanding of the buying nerves associated with making such a big decision. If you're looking for an agent who excels in customer service, then just ask for Nicole - she's wonderful!

GoogleI was absolutely shocked at the lack of preparation displayed at a recent Lettings valuation. Having previously worked for the company, I gave them the opportunity to value a property of mine I had every intention of renting through them. The “manager” Luke turned up with no comparable properties, no valuation pack explaining their services and no take on form. All things I was taught to be essential on a valuation. Previous to the valuation he had no idea I had worked there so there’s no excuse for not bringing reading materials for myself explaining their services. Safe to say I got another agent out and they came prepared and it’s being put on the market this week. Shocking service. Would not recommend

GoogleI have recently bought a property through the Bridgend branch and just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff there but especially Rhia who went above and beyond, giving me a fantastic level of Customer Service. She kept me updated throughout the whole process and i definitely wouldn't hesitate dealing with this branch and Rhia again. Highly recommended!

GoogleWhere do you start. The only words that come to mind are organised chaos and cowboys. The process of purchasing our house was made very very difficult for no reason other than poor administration. From the start we were informed that we had to use Peter Alan conveyancing to secure our dream house but were not told that it would cost us £2000 in fees. Don't be fooled by their in-house searches which apparently is much faster than using a local solicitor. These searches cost us £350 paid directly to them on the day the offer was submitted and this was necessary to stop anyone else viewing the house. These searches are simply Environmental searches which anyone can apply for at groundsure. We were allocated a solicitor in Barry which was useless being based in Bridgend. Peter Alan conveyancing acting as the middle man simply caused nothing but problems and slowed the process down considerably. The staff at Peter Alan have their fingers in every pie going. They made the sellers take out a Japanese knotweed management plan through someone they recommended and provided an electrician to change a fuse board which turned out to be illegal and incorrectly installed as per the current regulations. The company is just a big joke and I plan to run the next time I have any involvement with them.

Hi Jonathan, I would like to take the opportunity to apologise that you feel dissatisfied and I would be grateful if you could contact me to discuss the concerns you have raised. I would however like to explain some of the points you have raised to alleviate some of your concerns. Regarding the solicitors we recommended, by ordering the searches in Branch on the day your offer is accepted we can get them instantly requested and returned within 2 weeks which can save 3-4 weeks. This did prove to be effective in this case with you being able to collect your keys to your new home 7 weeks from the day your offer was accepted even with a chain below. We recommend solicitors but you are free to use whichever firm you wanted. In this instance the vendor would not take the property off the market until searches were ordered and I believe this was a deciding factor in you instructing our recommendation. I would like to stress that we are not affiliated with any contractors or repair companies outside of the Connells group and any firm that we recommended to you was done in good faith in order to facilitate you. There was no financial gain or reward to Peter Alan or any staff and you were free to instruct any firm you so wished. Where Knotweed is present or reported on a sale of a property, to ourselves or a solicitor we have a duty of care to our clients to make sure there is a knotweed survey carried out by a PCB registered company. This is to ascertain exactly where the knotweed is. The solicitor also has a legal requirement to report the presence of knotweed to any lender, without this survey report they may not lend. In some cases where the knotweed is close to the house a treatment plan is needed but fortunately that was not necessary in this case. Finally, in this instance we were asked to provide details of an electrician we may have had an experience with in the past, we did so and any works or recommendations were between the vendor and contractor. Again with no financial gain or favour to ourselves.
