GoogleAvoid this business at all costs. We had two properties fall through with them, one on the day of exchange where we lost nearly £30k due to a technicality on a pre-exchange contract that we were pressured in to signing by Paul. Barbara and Georgie were great, but we were sold so many lies by Paul along the way. We had 3-months of hell in dealing with this business due to this situation and it has left us in a real mess financially. After the £30k was apparently ‘lost’ they threatened us with legal action if we were to contact them again, so we are currently in the process of having our lawyers review to see if we can recover the lost funds and claim damages. I’ve never written a bad review in my life but I feel like I need to warn others so that the same does not happen to anyone else. Do not buy a property with this business. Make sure you follow the advice of your solicitors and not the advice of the pushy estate agents at this business. Absolute shambles. Zero stars.

GoogleDo not use their lettings management team. Not if you want to be looked after professionally. You’ll be billed for invoices that weren’t pre advice to you. I’ve had Gas Certs booked and billed to me (way over the standard gas cert price) I’ve had works billed to me with no pre advice. I’ve had works advised to me of one price and then billed with a higher invoice amount. Reason was it was an emergency and we had to act straight away. Yet you’ll find they won’t tell you this, they’ll just send you the invoice with no explanation. I’ve now been trying to resolve an issue with them for a month, it’s either staff on holiday, off sick etc etc Their online portal isn’t up to date, you’ll see the wrong rental amounts quoted, wrong dates of last AST. No AST available to view online and when you ask for them, you’ll get sent out of date ones and still be waiting a month later for the correct AST’s you requested. What’s even worse is they know of my personal circumstances, I’ve just lost a member of my family and yet they continue to place additional stress on me. They use to be really good but unfortunately the lettings manager left and since they replaced the manager, the attitude of the staff has changed and the place is falling apart.

My husband and I were recommended Barbara by a family member earlier this month for the sale of our property. We met with several agents but knew wanted to go with Barbara as soon as we met her. Her honesty and fantastic knowledge of the market and area made us feel completely at ease and assured that we would be in great hands with her - it was the best decision we have made! Barbara quickly got our house onto the market and in less than a week closed the sale of our property, achieving the price we wanted. The journey with Barbara was stress free and the communication and guidance from her throughout was exceptional. We unfortunately lost out on our dream property 6 weeks ago when another buyer beat us to it. The buyer ended up pulling out of the sale (for their own reasons), and Barbara jumped on the phone with me immediately to let me know it was going back on the market and were we still interested. She was quick to set us up for another viewing, and shortly after our offer had been accepted! We're first time buyers so we're new to the process, and Barbara has been excellent at guiding us through things so far. We were delighted with the pictures of our property and the virtual tour really made us stand out from the competition - our house sold within 2 days of being on the market. Having Jenkins conduct viewings for us as part of the price was also really convenient and easy for us. Barbara was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with some really sound advice during negotiations on our sale and also our onward purchase. We had a dedicated person manage all of our sale process, communicating clearly with us and our buyers which took the stress out of every step.

Facebook10 out of 10 for Jenkins Property, from day one, professional service all the way through to the very end. Barbara was very professional straight talking and I felt that she was batting from my end. From the up to date video virtual tour, which took about 6 or 7 hours for the making of the video, through to prospective clients actual viewing. Barbara was never late, usually 10 minutes or so early, giving us enough time to vacate the house leaving the showing in her capable hands. Always got feed back after the viewing usually next day and kept us in the loop when she was dealing with the clients. Once a sale had been agreed we were supported by Goergie, who would again keep us well informed of progress and more importantly took over the chasing and pushing the solicitors. We did not have to chase the solicitors at all, this task was taken over completely by Georgie. Again very professional and left us very confident that things were always moving in the right direction. Completely happy with the service. They are pricier than their competitors and you do wonder why so dear but they do deserve it. Great all round package, worked great for me. Again 10 out of 10

Most disgusting vile service I have ever used. Thieves!. All happy to take your money but will use any trick in the book to take every penny of your deposit. Currently contacting their useless DPS service. No replies or contact. Just hope you will walk away so they can keep your money. Stay away from these vile people. DPS. Citizens advice and local MP letters sent. DISCUSTING!

GoogleJenkins sold our house during a time of uncertainty, when others couldn’t they stepped up to the mark. Paul has an honest approach to selling houses, as a client he asked us what sale price we needed for our next purchase and set our expectations at it’s true market value. He achieved everything he said he would. Communication was clear and relevant (no calls to say vender is brushing their teeth etc). Jenkins gave us further advice on the purchase of our new home, I would say you enter into a partnership with the company rather that a quick sale. Thank you for your help Paul and the team, and to everyone else out there use Jenkins.

Brilliant!Jenkins handled the sale of my property superbly, they got us a fantastic price for our house and it was sold within 12 days. They handled all the viewings which made life so much easier for us and gave the people viewing a chance to be honest and not feel rushed, I believe this definitely helped to the sale of our property so quickly.Barbara, our agent was fantastic and always easy to get hold of and speak to, even when we hit a few bumps along the way, Barbara went above and beyond to help us sort these quickly and very efficiently.If or when I find myself looking to sell a property I will definitely use Jenkins again.
