GoogleHS Estates treated us despicably.
We put in an offer (which was accepted) just over the asking price for a property in Brentwood, but when the banks surveyor went to value it, it came back £40k below the asking. The vendor was looking at moving to Spain and covid was making them dither, they didn't want to drop the price, which is obviously not the Estate Agents fault (apart from greedily over valuing!) We tried calling, emailing the agents to find out what we do, if we negotiate?? They basically ghosted us! Ignored every communication with us, and up until now was still listed as under offer (that was our offer from a year ago) now I've looked and it's SOLD!
Unprofessional and very rude!...and although still actively looking, we now won't even entertain a property thats been added by this terrible company.

Thank you for taking the time to write this, what a vendor will accept for the sale of their property is not in our control, we did not over value the property and there was more offers all in the price range the property sold for, It was listed under offer to a new purchaser and the property sale has just completed, yes the owner moved to Spain which did hold up the completion due to lock downs. It is not HS fault your mortgage company did not agree with the price agreed or the fact you could not find the extra funds. Our role is to work for our vendors and make sure we receive the best possible price for their property. Not sure why this our fault and your review, we do have a complaints procedure on our website. I can honestly say, I don’t think I would have been able to get through the process without their input and support. GoogleI went to H.S Properties to find an apartment for rent and I have to say I received not just good service but much more than that. Good people, patient, kind and sensitive to my every need.

Update - I won my case against Fran and HS Estates after they unlawfully kept some of my deposit money, and I will now recieve my full deposit.
I'm not sure why Fran treated my family and I with such contempt from day one. She was overly nice before handing over our money, then was a total b**** from there on out and was the main reason for us moving out when our tenancy was up.
We're happily settled in our new home now and having an enjoyable experience renting through beresfords, much like we have with all the other estate agents we've used. :-)
P.S. Just seen HS Estates response. The fact that you lost the case speaks for itself.
P.P.S. Being told that you've called the police after I politely texted you to say that it will cost you more in court, is a first. Also gave our friends and family a good ol' chuckle when showing them your text messages
