The service received so far has been very professional - accurate and clear about the selling process and the specifics of my sale, very supportive during the viewing stage and provided sound and evidenced advice about the bids received. I was very impressed with the detail of info provided on the financial position of those putting in an offer and being able to have access to view activity online was a real help. All the staff in the Walthamstow office were professional and with sincere and welcoming smiles; I must highlight Maria Ticehurst though who was particularly helpful and understanding. She’s a great asset to have with her can do attitude, her experience and her friendliness. Thank you.

I cannot recommend him enough!

Stephen Ford of Douglas Allen Woodford handled our sale last year. He was most helpful and his advice was always sound. As we wanted to return to the area, we contacted him again and he could not have been more helpful. He put so much time into searching for the right property for us. He knows his area amazingly well, has great insight, and his communication and people skills allow him to really get alongside a customer. I have never met an estate agent like him. He is worth his (not inconsiderable) weight in gold!

I cannot fault Douglas Allen and their staff. Lucy came to value my house a week earlier than originally planned and was very helpful. She made me feel more confident and talked me through the entire process. Ellie also has played a massive part in pointing me in the right directions and putting me in touch with the best people. My partner and I booked to view a property in Brentwood a couple days ago, we received a text confirming the Appointment. I thought I’d double check to make sure the appointment is still on calling them the morning of the viewing, we was put through to the main server, the lady said she will email and call the Brentwood office and get them to give me a call back.. heard nothing back. We still decided to go to the property as we did have the text confirmation, when we arrived, no one was there. I called them once again (no one answered in Brentwood, so we went to main switch board again) saying we are outside in the rain and can someone let me know if an agent is coming, the lady said sure and that she would call Brentwood office to get them to give me a call back. After 30 mins of waiting we decided to go home. This was very unprofessional and we wasted some of our day standing around waiting. Clearly a very understaffed office, would strongly think about booking anything with them again. Kind regards, A very annoyed client.

Brentwood appalling and unprofessional don’t use

If I could give minus stars I would. With out my knowledge or consent “reports” were sent to my ex husband stating I was disruptive during viewings and I had stated work on the house had been botched which were not true. I was accused of not responding to legal questions, when I pointed out I hadn’t received any questions there was no apology. They stated I had written emails saying I was refusing to co-operate when my daughter asked for screen shots of these they weren’t provided because this was a lie. They constantly mis represented information between parties causing unnecessary issues and ultimately stopped communicating with me at all. I will be making a formal complaint don’t have anything to do with this branch
