GoogleVery disappointed with Balgores. Extremely unprofessional not wanting to pass my offer on to a seller despite it being on the market for many months. I called back a month later to ask if my offer could be put forward a second time round and ended up with a very argumentative staff member who still refused. No idea why they are deciding what should be put forward and what shouldn't, no wonder it's been on the market for months - avoid at all costs!

GoogleAVOID AVOID AVOID Please do not be fooled by any of the good reviews about Balgores Hayes Brentwood. We rented a property from them two years ago and had serious issues with the property including severe leaks and damp which we informed them of multiple times in writing however property managment never did anything to resolve the issue OR even inform the landlord. It was because of this we left the property and vacated in August 2020 towards the end of our tenancy which we paid for until the end of our contract. It is now December and we still have not received our deposit back which equates to around £2000. After chasing them every couple of weeks we were never directly told about a dispute our landlord had regarding the issues of the leaks and the damage it left the property it, only in a brief phone conversation in November months after chasing back our deposit. Oddly all of my emails relating to the issues had never been passed on to the landlord and the property management team had left the property to rot. All of this and not to mention the lettings manager attempted to blackmail me over email to get me moved out of the three bedroom property in ONE WEEK during the pandemic due to finding a new Tennant that he was scared to lose and told me if I didn't the potential new Tennant would be devastated and homeless when I said it wouldn't be feasible as a family with a young child and no support whilst in lockdown to which he became rude and aggressive. He also refuses to acknowledge any part of his responsibility in helping tenants and when I called him out of desperation when having an enormous leak in the house his words were ''what do you want me to do about it''. The list goes on and on with the no returned phone calls or emails, the members of staff laughing at m y desperate pleas in the background and still I have no deposit back. Please do not deal with this company ever, they cannot be trusted. Im now lodging a formal complaint to try and obtain my money back.

GoogleEven one star is way too much! We have been left hanging to view the property and missed few other just to find out couple weeks later on website it was already rented out. Despite my husband's calls, me registering with their agency and their promises to call us back about the property. They might be good, but in wasting people time nothing more. Glad we have had that experience with renting from this estate agency, at least we know we will definitely avoid them to buy our house.

GoogleWe unfortunately chose Balgores Hayes Brentwood to manage our property when moving overseas. The property management service used to be 'managed' in their Brentwood Office and is now 'managed' through their Dagenham office. When the property was 'managed' through Brentwood the service was pretty bad and the tenants complained about their lack of attention and not responding to issues. After they moved property management to Dagenham it got even worse we now have a range of issues that nightmares are made of. We don't usually complain about services but they are sooooo bad it is impossible not to. We like to be positive and the one positive thing I can think of is that they seemed very nice and responsive when we originally signed the contracts and at the time we 100% believed that they would provide a good service. It went downhill from there ...... Note we have friends that have also used Balgores Hayes to 'manage' investment properties and unfortunately they have had bad experiences with them too so unfortunately it doesn't seem to be a one-off.

GoogleLANDLORDS & TENANTS AVOID THIS COMPANY If you are looking for a company to manage your property or even if you are looking for a property to live in do yourself a favour and avoid this company like the plague. Their property management is non existent and it will cause you more issues than it solves. The Brentwood sales office are full of smiles and promises but they are totally incompetent and have serious issues with performing the most basic property management services.

I then spent some time looking at other agents and online providers (who may have been cheaper but lacked a professional touch!) but the first impression by Balgores stayed prominent so there really was no other company close! The original help from Michael and the leg work by Joe nearer completion I felt was of a very very high standard and totally worth paying for!! I wouldn’t think twice about recommending this company!! Thank you to all of the team.

GoogleThe initial meeting with JH was professional and friendly. Once he had secured our signature to use Balgores, without being asked we started to be looked after by other members of staff . I was at home twice when Balgores turned up unannounced and let themselves in to find out later they had forgotten to confirm a show around. We were lied to on numerous occasions once our property had been sold, fortunately we knew one of the new owners who confirmed what they had told us was not true. We were also given very bad advice regarding renting a home, we were told not to start looking until 2 weeks before completion which has left us homeless Their renting department is worse than their buy/selling dept, we never once heard back from them. I tried complaining to JH but have heard nothing for 2 weeks so have no other option but to leave negative feedback here

GoogleMy wife and I have used Balgores Hayes Brentwood Lettings for nearly 3 years now and are thoroughly satisfied with the friendliness, service and professionalism of the entire team. What has made the difference for my partner and I , is that if things go wrong and inevitably they do sometimes, being able to rely on a competent lettings team to resolve as quickly and painlessly as possible is a key requirement for any landlord, and the Balgores Hays Lettings team consisting of Michael and Matthew delivered on this requirement.

GoogleI would not recommend them. Initially excellent service when I was trying to choose an agent, and they did find a tenant. However, once the tenant was in place the service was definitely lacking. They were unable to resolve persistent late payment issues regardless of repeated promises to ensure the tenant had standing order in place, and were of no real assistance with solving problems with the same difficult tenant who then needed to be removed. I would not describe it as a fully managed service, and despite paying a monthly fee felt on my own and that the property was not being managed properly.

GoogleThe team at Balgores were very efficient at getting my property on the market and getting viewings through the door. I was pushed for time with regards to having to sell in order to offer on another property, and the team ensured that there were no delays in getting my property on the market and viewings in the diary. Their advertisements online look the most professional compared to other estate agents and Joe H ensured all the pictures he took were of the highest quality. Joe L was always in touch to keep me updated (even if I was available to chat). I would like to thank them again for their efforts!
