Appalling service after signing contract, send people that aren't even on the market to view.. never return calls, castleford staff are arrogant, and lie through their back teeth.. would never use William H Brown again and advise anyone not to use them and go with anyone but them. Put a complaint in and got more lies, end of subject.. the at te reviews they have so many one stars 😡

GoogleNathan and Lucy found me a very nice bungalow to rent but unfortunately two days before signing of the Tenants Agreement the landlord took it off the market. However they soon found me another property and within three weeks I was picking up the keys. Lucy did the viewings on both properties and proved to be very knowledgeable. She was able to answer all of my questions in both cases. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them and I am very glad that I used them.

Made appointment to sell my barn conversion for Monday at 11.00 no one turned up so rang office and was told there was nothing in the dairy. Wasted all morning waiting for them and lost money for not being at work not very professional nor trust worthy so won't be using them. Stay away from this company.

GoogleWe were initially lied to to encourage us to increase our offer and when we did, told we need to increase it further. Another branch had to step in to mediate. Now over a month into a purchase we have found that the parking that was advertised with the property is not registered on the land register. Despite numerous phone calls to try and sort it, no one rang back. We have now withdrawn from the purchase and the house has been relisted - still with that parking advertised. Beware!

GoogleWilliam H Brown have been phenomenal estate agents, they helped us through the entire process of our first house purchase. Had it not been for them, I am sure we would not have completed, as our solicitors were not the easiest to deal with and without the help from the sales progression team at William H Brown, we'd likely still be waiting to exchange. Their mortgage services are quite a bit more expensive than all others we had come across - but the service we received was very good.

Do not use this estate agent. They did not act in our interest and quite openly attempted to bully us into selling our property at well under the market value. We had a ridiculous offer, which they just expected us to take. Zero effort made to push the property after the offer.
