GoogleWould 1000000% recommend Thomas brooks to handle all mortgages! He worked his socks off day in day out to make sure everything was done for us smoothly! And he did it! As a first time buyer the process is generally stressful and really tough! But not with Tom by our side! He handle everything for us! Thank you so much Tom!! GoogleThe amount of stress William H Brown caused me I cannot even begin to describe. I practically had to shout and scream and be referred out of branch in order to get my deposit back - one that had to be returned to me as William H Brown falsely advertised a development under help to buy and then rescinded. Warren has no integrity he will lie and make up stories to get more than the asking price - he has done this both to me and a family member on separate matters. When caught in a lie he doesn’t own up, he just spins another lie. Good luck trying to speak to him to resolve an issue - he will always be away from his desk and will call you back - laughable. If I see a property is advertised with them, I don’t even bother - it’s not worth it. Warren and the Braintree team are appalling - please avoid. I only got my money back by threatening legal action. If I could give zero stars I would - scam artists
It’s Warren here. I’m really sorry that you feel this way. I really thought I had been patient and helpful, you sat with me in office for over an hour when we explored the best options for you as I do understand that purchasing your first home can be daunting. We agreed this sale in good faith to yourself with Help to Buy as your purchase option. We later were informed from the developers that this particular development now didn’t qualify for Help to Buy. I promptly informed you of this and we mutually agreed to offer a figure that was affordable for you without the government scheme. Unfortunately, the offer wasn’t enough for the developer to accept. When you were no longer proceeding with the purchase; and as we do not hold money within our office, I requested your deposit to be returned to you via the developer. I do apologise on how long this refund took, after multiple chases to the developer I eventually had to get my director involved to issue this refund to you. I am concerned that you believe I have lied. This is not something I would ever do. I pride myself on the service I give to all of our clients and have only ever helped you try and secure a property at a price affordable to you. We have regulations in place that stop this thing happening as I know some people have stereotypical views on Estate Agents.

GoogleVery helpful estate agents especially Warren & James who picked me up & dropped me back by car as I'm on crutches. Warren even offered his shoulder to lean on when stepping out to the back garden of the house I was viewing. Neither were pushy and gave a fair opinion.

Google. Great service in getting our property on the market. Warren Hames was excellent taking time to an additional visit to the property. Kept us updated each month and explained market stats clearly. Although we have taken our property off the market for now we wouldn’t hesitate in using the again.

GoogleNot impressed at all!! From start to finish it felt like they didn't really care. Agent came round to measure our house and get us on board, this was very pressured and a rushed drop. We signed the paperwork in the end but the agent was very sly and snuck on a % fee if they sell at a specific price post sign off. We sold our property and then it felt like they had forgotten about us. Barely any interaction and when we did speak the office seemed disorganised, rushed and not personable at all. Many occasions when they said they would get back to us, but nothing so we were always the ones chasing. The estate agent who we were buying from seemed to do way more work for our end of the chain even though we weren't even paying them! We would not go with WHB again unless it was a necessasity. Felt very let down given feedback and reviews previously posted about our local branch. Isla was the only stand out member of the Braintree branch.

GoogleMy partner and I have recently bought our first house together with William H BRown in Braintree. We started off dealing with Liam, he was very helpful to begin with. The longer our purchase went on i felt like an inconvenience when i tried to call or get in contact with Liam. I feel he lost interest in us. I began to deal with David the Branch Manager, he was more helpful and had answers when i needed them and often contacted me before i needed to chase them. We also got our mortgage through Thomas Brooks, the in house mortgage broker. Tom was fantastic! Very helpful, very knowledgable and his level of communication was excellent. Overall an OKAY level of service. 3 out of 5.

GoogleAfter using another letting agent for quite a while and not being satisfied with the service we decided to use William H Brown. I initially spoke to Jack who filled me with confidence straight away and nothing was too much to ask, both Jack and Alice have been on the ball with everything to find us new tenants and also took into account any issues that we had previously experience and kept us up to date. We are extremely happy with the service both Jack and Alice have provided us and are glad we changed agents.

GoogleI went to see them first time around Feb, informing them of my intention to move to Essex from London sometimes in June. I was amazed when Jack contacted me at the end of May to tell me of a property that just became available and that We finally decided to go for and rent. I went to see various agency but this William H Brown and Jack were the only one who followed up my situation nearer the time of my move. This is quality customer service!!. Both Jack and Alice were amazing in supporting me through the entire process which they managed to make hassle free despite various thing might have made it much more stressful. Jack is great but special mention to Alice who has been so helpful and available to sort each of my queries and getting all done In no time. Overall a great experience for a great agency made such by great people. Highly recommended!!

GoogleMe and my partner just recently moved into our first property together with help from Alice and Jack at William H Brown! They were both so helpful from the very first time we contacted them right up until we moved into the property. Alice was very attentive and friendly and was always either a phone call or email away when we needed any questions answered, and never failed to give us the information we needed to know. She was great and I can’t thank her enough for all the help she gave us. I would definitely recommend this estate agent to anyone and would definitely recommend help from Alice and Jack! Great customer service, thank you again :-)

GoogleWe used William H Browne in Braintree to buy our new family home in Great Leigh's. We dealt with Liam Wilson and his assistance and expertise were incredible throughout the entire purchasing process. Our chain was particularly difficult with complications in selling (through a rival estate agent) but despite this, Liam's willingness to go that extra mile ensured we got the home we needed for our growing family, and the stress of purchasing with kept to a minimum. We would recommend this company to anyone, and specifically Liam.
