The Housing Of No Justice and Abiding Laws.

We are really so vexed with our neighbours and what is really going on with no one proper to sort out this non tenancy problem. The Housing is completely covering up their wrong doings. It is not right for the old person who is occupying a two bedroom property and most of the time he is giving it to alot of women and they are so many different women coming into the property but he is not there when we are calling out to him when we hear such huge sounds from his property most of the nights after 11.00 pm. We have already explained and complained about this matter over and over again to the Housing but they just say they are visitors but not the exact meaning of visitors because first of all the person who is the tenant has to be in the property and secondly not all the visitors should all have keys to the property. Why is sll this happening only in the night time, they get visitors? They tell us to report to the noise team and the police etc. You know when we were assaulted by this lady sometime ago we called for the police, the police gave us a CAD.No. and we provided it to the concerned Housing Personnel and the police said that it is for the Housing to sort out the non tenancy issue. Because when they questioned her about her passport, she replied, what passport, then the Officer told her that madam, everyone has to have a passport in this Country. He then advised her not to resort to hitting a person because we asked her to stop the tremendous noise after 11.00 pm. The police told her that the gentleman who is the neighbour is asleep and has to go to an early shift like 3.00 am so not to do this, otherwise, she will have to be arrested if she carries on behaving in that manner but I do not think she has any fear and not to listen to her so called father, is something strange as it is a mystery as to whether she is claiming to be his daughter just to get the residency of this property. Alot of their kind are claiming and faking the Housing, the benefit office and the Council. Where people have to tackle corruption, they do not do so, afraid of their back grounds etc. This is not right for people who are struggling to have a night's sleep and go to a hard day's work. Why are they not made to work? The lady knows good English and the children are now big enough to go to school and can see they have alot of people taking care of the children and the lady is young enough to work. So why encourage people in believing all their soft stories? The old man is quite able. Only holds the stick to show the others he is sick but he is walking fine and the stick if you catch him unawares is held like an umbrella as the curve is kept on the top of his fist and it is not held for support on the ground. So you see there are alot of Con people in this world getting away with crimes.

Five stars just isn’t enough for these ladies

I’d like to give the biggest thanks to Laura and charli at Newman place Oxfordshire. These girls have been amazing from the moment I first made an interest in the new builds. The service they have provided has been exceptional. Both ladies made everything so easy for me, they have walked me through every step of the way. As a first time buyer they both made me feel so calm and at ease with the whole process. Laura and charli are an absolute credit to Catalyst. Every need and question has been answered pretty much instantly. Such friendly and professional ladies they both carried the whole process out beautifully I cannot fault either one of them one bit. I would recommend Catalyst and especially these ladies everyday. Brilliant client care

Purchasing a property is always stressful however thanks to Ellis we had a smooth process through catalyst. Responses to questions were immediate. Always willing to give a helping hand. They don’t clock watch and shut up shop at 5pm, they answer emails and text messages out of hours. Brilliant experience and aftercare. Would not recommend their solicitors as they are cowboys stay well clear use your own the incentive is not worth the hassle. Overall catalyst were brilliant that being Ellis as he was our point of contact.

Second thoughts on reserving property at Midsummer Vale (Walkern)

We are currently in the process of buying a house at Midsummer Vale (Walkern), but are starting to have second thoughts even after we have put down our reservation fee.Overall very friendly service from the Sales person, BUT be careful about promised payments towards legal fees which they advertise on their website and Facebook. They will only contribute to legal fees IF you go with their recommended solicitors (who are extremely slow and non-responsive). Worse still, we only found out about this 'requirement' AFTER we had already instructed our usual Solicitors and so we lost around £500 in the process - we were only made aware of this when we went to sign the reservation form. Even though we were not impressed, we still went ahead and reserved the property (and paid the reservation fee) and have instructed their recommended Solicitors etc. In the meantime, we have asked for a minor change to the house. Nothing that would incur any extra costs on the builder's side (reversing the door direction), and the change complies with Building Regulations etc. The developer's response was a straight out no. No reason was given other than they don't build house for individuals. In my view, that is EXACTLY what they are doing. We are going to spend every single day of our lives in that house and they are not even willing to even consider this minor change or suggest an alternative.We have also inquired about a patio extension and were provided with a quote. When asking for a breakdown of the costs which seemed very high, we were again told "no" (no surprise here). We were told "we don't provide breakdowns" and that was the end of the conversation.We are paying full price of a new house and there is absolutely no willingness for cooperation with us to make it our actually dream home. There is no room for the most insignificant changes which now makes us feel like we have made a big mistake.We will leave another review after completion to report back whether their attitude changes.

Honest review

I'll be honest at first with the first and only contact we had our experience wasn't great. We were told wrong information in regards to colour scheme and appliances, we were even shown the wrong house plans! We went days sometimes weeks with no info when we had questions and we're promised a call back or email ASAP.I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stuck it out and have since met Krissy who works in the marketing suite at Thorn development in Houghton Regis. I can not thank her enough for how much better and easier she has made our experience. She is so welcoming and as soon as I have a question she is quick to respond and reassure us that she is dealing with it. I just bought a new home from Catalyst. The property has great finishes and as a civil engineer I can see the attention to the detail in terms of construction. However the purchase was not easy as I had to sell my old apartment during the Covid period before my mortgage offer expires. I literally bought the property one day before the mortgage expiration. Thanks to Stephan the sales executive who really helped with the legal and completion process and chasing up the solicitors the completion was made on time. I have a friend who brought an apartment through Catalyst and based on their recommendation I soon made enquires myself as I was impressed with the Arro development. I found the whole process very straight forward as Steve explained everything from the start as he and his colleague Malecia spent time with me as I was shown around the development. I made a reservation soon after and was later introduced to Jamie who looked after the next stages as he took me through completion. Jamie made contact with me on an almost daily basis as he chased solicitors and made sure I was kept up to date through this whole process. It was a real pleasure dealing with the team from Catalyst including everyone whom I spoke with at the Arro development. Having now moved in I’m actually very happy as the build quality and specifications are excellent along with the aftercare service I’ve received. I’ve been very impressed with the service provided by Catalyst, right from my initial enquiry through to after sales care. It was clear from the start that this is an organisation that puts their customers first. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been very pleasant and helpful, especially Alison Letts who explained everything very thoroughly and was always responsive when I had questions or concerns. Communication has generally been really good and the exchange and completion process was certainly made easier by Catalyst.
