Joseph and Peabody …

Joseph and Peabody gave me the opportunity to buy a home on my own in my local area. Joseph was amazing and looked after me from the first webinar to even checking in to see I had moved in ok. The house it’s self is absolutely beautiful and I’m so happy. I have all the information regarding the gadgets in the house and Oyinda did a thorough demonstration for me. Contemptuous bunch who have zero care…

Contemptuous bunch who have zero care for their clients. Particularly when partnered with Mears New Homes on a project, expect a shoddy build, no aftercare and to be left with no working shower for 4 months (out of 3 bathrooms) and constant lies and false promises. Most new builders are bad, but Catalyst and Mears New Homes plumb new depths in the worst of the worst.Elena Brodersky is a single stand out bright spot in the staff and should be running the joint.The band of crooks at Mears New Homes should be nowhere near housing.Steve Spellman, Andy Fuller and others involved in the sales process are some of the rudest, contemptuous and misleading sales staff I have ever come across.Do yourself a favour, buy a tent.

Exchanging Contracts

I've just recently exchanged contracts for a house within this development. Kirstie @The Lanes has been really helpful and informative throughout. It's a daunting prospect buying a first home and everything, so far, has been a fairly smooth process. I met Kirstie face to face at reservation and she was really professional and helped answer all of my many questions. She pointed me in the right direction as to who to contact moving forward and I knew she would always be on hand to answer any questions should I need help. I did wait a while for the allocation but I'm happy it's worked out this way. Things always work out for the best in the end and I'm very happy and excited to be moving into my new home.

Having initially looked into purchasing a SO property in September, Illone was extremely helpful without being pushy, which is often the case with the most sales representatives.When I returned in January and being under strict time frames as my rental property was due to end inside 8 weeks, Ilone again was extremely helpful and understanding of my situation. Very efficient!

Very efficient! Charli and Gabriela have been very easy to work with, we're first time buyers and so naturally we had many questions, both have answered any questions we've asked quickly no matter how stupid! Charli has been very on the ball with getting things filled out and signed in order to complete the sales process, this is helpful when navigating a process such as buying a house for the first time. It's certainly kept us on our toes and made sure we had everything needed for our Lenders and Solicitors. We're still waiting for the house to be completed and we can't wait to move into our new home!

Due to the constant fluctuation in mortgage rates and help to buy rechecking the affordability with follow on interest rate, I nearly lost the offer for the flat. However, Emerson went above and beyond (x10) to help me, was extremely supportive and kept me informed about the next steps the entire period. Amazing service at The Lanes at Thorn Fields

We have completed our reservation with Kirstie Foley. Kirstie was so professional, welcoming, caring and supportive. Joseph Grant was also there to answer all of our questions, was super friendly and very reassuring.My husband and I absolutely loved our appointment, and we are so happy to have reserved a plot with Catalyst. We have spoken to various developers in Houghton Regis this year, and none of them beats Kirstie's great customer service at all. Buying a house should not be stressful like other developers make you feel, they should all learn from Kirstie and Joseph.

Kirstie and Joseph ( The Lanes) have been an absolute rock thought, From is looking for our home to the day we moved in and completed their support has just been wonderful! Joseph is so lovely and friendly, he made sure all our worries or questions were met and he was very easy to communicate with. Kirstie helped us move into our home and I think we can all say, moving is very stressful. We had some worries that day and was close to not moving in, but with Kirstie’s patience, kind heart and persistence we managed to complete on the day. Kirstie even stayed late out of her working hours to make sure we had a home to go to! She was an absolute angel and we are forever grateful. I would highly recommend! The Team are just wonderful!

Overall poor communication and customer…

Overall poor communication and customer service from the Kite Meadows site. Unfortunately, after leaving over 10 voicemails & submitting contact requests via the website. I can count the responses I have received on 1 hand. I registered my interest several times for the Kite Meadows development and received only automated emails about the launch event. I was never contacted to be booked in. I called numerous numbers on the website, majority went to mailboxes that were full or transferred me to The Switch development in Wimbledon. The gentlemen at The Switch was a temp and made several attempts to get me through to someone at the site but there was no joy. I was given 3 numbers from the customer service department, none of them were answered. I was given 2 email addresses which I sent emails to, no responses received. On 01/10/22 I decided to go down to the launch event anyway and spoke to the sales manager. He was helpful, gave me all the information I needed including his direct mobile number if I had any questions. I proceeded with completing an application for one of the properties. I was told that the homes would be allocated mid-October. I left a voicemail on 17/10/22 requesting a call back which was returned on 20/10/22. I was told that as I am a single person, I was not eligible to apply for a property and there was a minimum requirement of 2 people for the homes. When I questioned why I was not told this when I attended the launch, submitted the application and I felt this was discriminatory, the caller then backtracked and said it's not an 100% requirement. They advised the sales manager was back on 22/10/22 and they would get him to call me back. To date I haven't received a call after leaving several follow up voicemails on numerous numbers.Please note I get no joy in writing this review and would have liked to discussed this with someone directly, if I could simply get a call back. I would also like to state that this review is just referring to the team at Kite Meadows. I have also spoken with and visited the team at The Lanes at Thorn Fields and I found them to be quick with responses, well informed and overall provided great customer service.

Bought our first home with Catalyst Thorn Lane via the shared ownership scheme. Joseph has been brilliant and helpful from the beginning all the way till he handed us our keys. Very accommodating and answered our queries as best as he could. Was getting worried about the delay but Joseph has been very good at keeping us up to date. Was only offered to choose the kitchen units color as personal touch and nothing else. ( would have like to choose about carpet/flooring, wardrobe if allowed to). But overall experience has been very exciting and satisfying. Extremely happy with the whole process and very grateful for all the help and assistance.

4 bed home

We bought a new build 4 bed home in Walkern with Catalyst and used the assisted move scheme. The scheme was great as it helped us save money with fees and enabled us to reserve the house while we sold. From the first day we viewed our new house up until completion, the sales Executive Steve Spelman has been amazing. He has gone above and beyond to help us, including showing us around the area before we made the decision to buy. Although we were delayed by around 3 months, Steve regularly updated us with the progress of our house and would always respond to us quickly when we called or emailed him. We were also able to visit the site regularly to view the progress. Without the updates we would have struggled to plan ahead as there was a lack of clarity around our completion date due to the delays. Since moving in to our house this week, the site manager Vince has been brilliant with sorting our snags and comes the same day as reporting them to try and rectify asap. We have had our home inspected and although there are some snags as expected with all new build homes, the quality and build is to an excellent standard. The customer service we have received so far has been brilliant. Thank you to Steve, Vince and their teams. I would recommend buying a home with Catalyst.
