GoogleEstate Agents can feel pushy and untrustworthy but this certainly isn't the case with Michaels in Braintree. Steve has been fantastic with the guidance he has provided and has continuously supported the sale of our home. They really went the extra mile to ensure the sale of our house and even chased the solicitors on both sides to ensure it went through as quickly as possible. I will definitely be using Michael's again and strongly recommend. Thank you Steve & Patrick x

GoogleI would strongly recommend that you do not use Michael's to sell your property. We have just purchased our property via them, and they were responsible for the top 2 links in the chain. The communication was terrible, we weren't informed of issues within the top of the chain until our own estate agent was notified of the issues at a much later date. They repeatedly gave us incorrect information regarding updates within the chain, constantly having us thinking we were 1 step from exchanging for a month but then saying there was 1 more thing that needed to be done. It was only when our estate agent started reaching out to contacts within the top of the chain that we weren't awaiting for contracts to be signed as there were still 9 enquiries outstanding and contracts hadn't even been given to our sellers. They also had poor customer service, as they were very rude when we were contacting them for updates. Avoid at all costs.

My experience with Michaels estate agents was excellent from day one . My sale had fallen through from another agent but Michaels took my property on and sold it within a few weeks . The staff there are all great at their jobs especially joely who kept me informed about everything that was going on with regards to viewings and feedback. Also Patrick’s great pictures and Gemma keeping me informed with the progress of solicitor services. I would recommend to anyone selling in Braintree to use them for selling your house . We have exchanged contracts today and want to thank Michaels for their help and hard work throughout the process. We needed a quick sale and they got our house on the market and sold within a week. When there were any hold ups in the process they helped chase up others in the chain and kept us updated on progress throughout so we always felt well informed. 18.01.2022- They are a scam company. Read my experience with them.- They sold me a property with tenants in situ.- They did not reveal the fact most of tenants are defaulters and trouble makers. Some of them are served with eviction notice.- They allegedly had an arrangement with the previous landlord to hide all these facts.- Their broker (from Michael Financials) took 3 months to get the mortgage offer. Applied 4th Aug and offer cam on 11th November.- They started pushing me for the exchange the moment their broker got the mortgage offer.- Once the exchange happened, the sale negotiator who has is impatient like a child till now stopped replying to my emails.- They have a poor code of practice when it comes to selling the property.- I have raised a formal complaint with them and will keep updating here on the review page.- The made me learn that ideally you should not be taking the mortgage if the broker is part of agency company. This way you will be pushed hard on your purchase.- They are trying to be polite in the reply to this feedback which is just their hypocrisy.If you are planning to buy any property through Michael property Consultants think twice, thrice or rather....!
Dear Mr Singh,We wouldn't normally reply publicly defending ourselves but due to your strong public accusations we simply must.First, I must dismiss all of your accusations with regards to acting underhand and having any arrangements with the previous seller - this is entirely a false accusation. The sale of your new property had been running since July 2021, so to advise that our team were impatient is a very unfair statement, especially when the seller was close to withdrawal due to the length of time the transaction had been running and you had three departments from our agency assist you with your purchase throughout. They were on hand to assist every step of the way and communication was kept to the highest of standards.Not at any stage were we informed of difficulties with any tenants, or ever concerned about them being credible or genuine. We provided you with a description of all tenants, including their professions in July, close to when the sale was first agreed. We never denied you access to visit the property and it is also very important to highlight that you have visited and inspected the property throughout your purchase process and we have never been obstructive or prevented you visiting. I understand you have also raised formal complaints against your solicitor, independent solicitor on behalf of your lender and therefore are trying to hold all parties involved accountable. All parties have stated that at no stage have we ever withheld any information or acted unprofessionally. We have put you in contact with our Customer Relations Manager who has acknowledged your complaint and who will be assisting you with your complaint moving forward, ensuring the appropriate complaints procedure is followed. Naturally we are very disappointed to have received this review and will be working closely with all involved to ensure this is resolved properly.

Sold my flat with Michael's Property and they were very impressive. The whole process was incredibly professional and friendly.After providing a valuation they were very understanding and patient as it took a few months for me to be in a position to market the property. Once it was on the market they I had viewings booked in very quickly. After I accepted an offer the sales progression team kept me in the loop with regular updates and were proactive in getting updates from both sets of solicitors. They really helped reduce the stress.I'll certainly be using Michael's for any future property sales and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

We used Michael’s to list our house, the photos were amazing and we immediately got viewings within days and sold to the first viewer by day 10. The expertise, knowledge and friendly service was second to none, Just what you need in what can be a very stressful time for us sellers/buyers but Michael’s do it like it’s second nature, clearly their branches are full of experience. We also brought our new home through Michael’s and we can not thank the team enough for going above and beyond for us. If we ever move again we would not hesitate to contact Michaels.

I was coming from an extremely negative experience (I tried unsuccessfully to sell my house for more than a year), therefore I was very discouraged about starting the transaction again. So I asked a friend who recommended me Michaels Property. Thanks to Michaels Property I found the right buyer 4 months ago and today I received confirmation about the completion date! Still can't believe it. I have to thank all the people who helped me in this process, but especially Jo Davi, an extremely professional person who always gave me positive feelings in this process, always guided me with valuable advice, always replied to me quickly and with complete informations.I could not have made a better choice.
