A fantastic team who went above and beyond despite Covid-19 presenting very strange circumstances. We recently purchased a house via Sears. It is our first home so was quite daunting for us. The experienced right from the beginning with John Henry was great and he made us feel comfortable about a daunting and new process. We were on track to purchase the house and then Covid-19 hit and we felt drained and anxious. Sears did everything they could to reassure us and push the process along so we did not need to extend our mortgage offer, and they prevented the sale falling through. This was despite the solicitors being particularly slow and difficult throughout. Oliver Hewitt and Virginia Ayres kept in constant communication with us and worked doubly hard to make sure nothing fell apart. Oliver was on the phone frequently keeping a dialogue open between us and the seller. He was a reassuring and professional presence. Virginia is one of the most efficient and organised people I have ever come across. We understand this is their job but given what has gone on nationally we were extremely impressed at the dedication from Sears and these two individuals in particular put into making sure we got to where we wanted. We have no doubt the sale would have fallen apart without them. We have now moved in and are happy in our new home. We intend to stay put for some time but if we do decide to move at any stage we will certainly be approaching this magnificent team.

Robert Franklin was my initial point of contact and once an offer was made on the property, I began communicating with Virginia Ayres. Both of these people are exceptional in that they provide an exceptional service. Robert was easy going, friendly, patient, helpful, extremely pleasant and addressed all of my queries regarding the contract, the fees, the property etc., patiently. He is a great estate agent. And Virginia is worth her weight in gold in that she handles the sale progression side of things admirably. You can 100% rely on her to keep her word - if she tells you that she will call you back, she does. She got back to me on every single query that I had, I never ever had to chase her for a follow up response, etc. She liaised with the buyer, with me (the seller), and with the solicitors to ensure that the sale was progressing right till the very end. We have had a very good experience with Sears. We dealt with Elizabeth (Libby) on the sale of our property and, Josh and Oliver on the purchase of our new property. Libby has been very approachable throughout the sale process of our property. She was able to schedule in a lot of viewings for our property and was always on time. She was quick to inform me of any delays if any. We were happy with the negotiations and the offer we received. Josh and Oliver have also been very approachable, professional and has really good negotiation skills. My first introduction to Sears Property was extremely reassuring. I was introduced to Oliver Hewitt who proceeded to ask questions about my property, my expectations and time frame. During this conversation Oliver was truly listening to me without interrupting. It was obvious that Sears was a company that actually cared about their clients. Oliver arranged to visit my property 48 hours later. During the visit, Oliver assessed the property and its location; he then explained the position of the current local sales market. It was obvious Oliver was extremely knowledgeable and above all else, completely honest. At no time did he try to promote himself or his company or offer inflated prices just to secure the business. I was more than confident in placing the sale of my property in Oliver’s hands. I can truly say that Oliver went above and beyond expectation, he kept me informed every step of the way and sold my property within 2 weeks. Oliver Hewitt is one of those rare estate agents that you would hope to find when taking such a large and onerous step with your home. He is a credit to himself and an asset to his company.

They have been a breath of fresh air compared to all the other yes-men I have met searching for properties, estate agents who always seem to agree with your opinion. Excellent service from day one. Joshua contacted me when a property came onto the market that he thought would match my parents criteria. It was a great house and my parents have gone on to have their offer accepted so we are really happy. Joshua worked overtime on a Sunday so we could view the property at a time that was convenient for us and he was brilliant at keeping me informed of what was happening and the vendors situation. We never had to chase Joshua for any information and he was very supportive with helping us navigate through the process of buying a house. We would highly recommend Joshua and we also loved the way he strikes such a good balance between keeping things on track but not being too full on. Usual bunch of lying Estate Agents. Was told I couldn't view a property as there was a problem with the probate, so would have to wait a week or two before viewings were allowed. Surprise Surprise phoned back 6 days later to hear the property had sold. How is this possible as no one was able to view this property, well that's what I was told anyway. They wonder why nobody likes Estate Agents !!!

It is not often you are on the lookout for a home purchase and when you start your search it isn’t the easiest of tasks particularly as its one of the most important purchase decisions of your life and not an easy one at that. We started our search recently and although have grown fond of Bracknell recently we didn’t know where to start. Our start to property hunting wasn’t great at all as we were let down by another estate agent who didn’t have the right attention of detail. They initially provided us the postcode but not the house number, forgetting to provide the number to call if we got stuck and to make things worse their call centre didn’t actually provide real time help as they didn’t have direct contact with the agent or home owner who would show us the property. We stumbled upon Sears property by mere coincidence and that in itself was much needed breath of fresh air. We have been in contact with Bradley who has been managing our property searches and respective viewings. I liked the fact that Bradley was confident enough to offer setting up multiple viewings in the local area on a Saturday balancing our requirements as well adding in a few surprises. He is a confident and polite agent without a pushy demeanour striking the right balance between sellers and buyers requirements while being in the business of property sales. On the day itself Paul who is another sears team member promptly called 30 mins earlier to confirm our availability and that he would meet us at the premises. We were met by a pleasant family man who was equally as enthusiastic as us on the viewings planned for the day. His depth of knowledge about the local area was most insightful as he had raised his family and had moved three times in the local area. We found that all the viewings had been timed well and all the properties had something to offer in line with our requirements. I had a good catch-up with Bradley over the following week and suggested he continue with some more viewings as we felt he had a handle on the right approach. If you are looking for property in Bracknell and are new to the area then I would recommend you give Sears property a call as they will strike the right balance in helping you source the best property for you and your budget.
