They have gone ‘above and beyond’ when helping me to find tenants for my property in Solihull and then to guide me through the process of getting the property legally compliant.I would recommend Kim and Mark at Leaders they were very professional and that is what I always hope for.

Leaders Worcester Branch

We rented a property in Worcester for 10 months from Leaders. It was the first time the property had been on the rental market through Leaders and to be honest it was pretty disgustingly dirty when we moved in and needed a damn good clean. We had various maintenance issues with the property that were resolved reasonably quickly once reported. Sadly we have had a little stress trying to get our deposit back from them due to a few deductions but nothing too major. What I would advise is you get everything dotted and crossed in writing from them because we asked for an additional couple of days to move out over a weekend and then got charged for them at the deposit refund stage after believing this had been waivered. Some of there staff weren't very helpful at all over the last 10 months however I must sing the praises of Lewis Langdell (Property Manager). I've been dealing with him the last few days and he is very punctual, polite and a credit to Leaders. If you're thinking of renting through the Worcester Branch I hope you get him as your point of contact because he is very professional and will definitely help you out.

Stressful, expensive, and totally unhelpful.

I was left with no washing machine, dishwasher, or kitchen sink for months, and quotes to repair plumbing were ignored for a full year (until I was moving out, and they needed to get new tenants in).I've been stuck with a huge bill because Leaders and the landlord ignored the issues, and Leaders are not willing to help. If you're a tenant, you'll have no help from Leaders if your landlord chooses to ignore issues.Avoid using them, it's not worth the stress -- there are plenty of other estate agents in Cheltenham.

If Carlsberg did lettings companies it wouldn’t be Leaders

Using Leaders to manage the rental of my flat has been one of the most stressful, frustrating and disappointing experiences of my life. My flat was completely refurbished and immaculate when leaders started to manage it. Over the past six years both tenants that Leaders have rented the flat out to have left the flat in a very poor state. Damaged, dirty, and costing in the thousands to put right. On neither occasion did I receive any recompense from the tenants as apparently they hadn’t left forwarding addresses. This is the only property I own, I rent it out currently as I’m a carer for a family member and live with them. I’m appalled by the service I’ve received from Leaders - repairs they commissioned were of such poor quality that I’ve had to pay to do them again. Complaints are not dealt with properly and communication is zero. If you’re a landlord who is happy to have their property and furniture trashed and destroyed and be treated like an irritation and don’t mind spending thousands of pounds to clear up other peoples mess then Leaders are the management company for you.

Feeling scammed

They forced us to take the “zero deposit option” because we have a dog, which had no benefit for the tenant and is basically just a rent increase of £70 per month. Also, when we arrived at the property, it was not well cleaned, especially the kitchen was dirty (grease on the walls, on the fan). We just cleaned this on our own as it was simpler. But upon moving out, they were incredibly petty and even though we handed back the property in a cleaner overall condition than when we got it in, they charged us a really unfair fee for additional “cleaning”.Also, it took months and lots of chasing to get a broken hob fixed.In general, all of our interactions with the company were ridiculously bureaucratic and impersonal. So if at all possible, rent with someone else!

Shockingly poor customer service

I was excited as at first they were a dream to deal with, everything went smoothly and they were overall pleasant. Until I moved in. Multiple features about the building they completely failed to mention, even the property manager expressed disappointment and shock in this oversight. I was not given insight to any hidden costs and I am now being chased 2 weeks after moving in for payment by their credit control team, despite sending evidence to them numerous times all bills have been paid, they are now threatening to have me evicted saying I'm in breach of contract. I asked Leaders for information on terminating my contract early and they told me to contact the landlord, despite the agreement being made between myself and Leaders. I will lodge a formal complaint if this continues.
