Helpful and proactive

Every person I spoke with at Leaders was friendly and helpful. Shannon did an amazing job securing a second buyer after the first buyer pulled out. She was also very helpful and proactive. When Lauren took over she was also brilliant at answering my questions. The person who stood out the most for me was my move manager Sue. She went above and beyond to get the sale to complete. Liaising with everyone to keep things moving along. Without her we wouldn’t have exchanged or completed for many more months. The communication between both solicitors to clients was poor so Sue made sure we were all updated with the important information and basically made the sale happen. I can’t praise her enough, absolutely fantastic.

Useless is the nicest way i can put it ive lived in my property for over a year and everybody they send out cant sort a boiler i can see my breathe in the kitchen had people out all the way through and not one person has fixed this heating issue just pull your finger out and sort it permanently

Great service

We have had an excellent experience with Leaders Northwich and in particular Emma Thomas at the Northwich branch. Emma has been extremely professional, responsive and helpful throughout the process of finding our new tenancy and this has helped make what is typically a really stressful process very easy to manage. All of the online systems, e-documents etc. also helped streamline the whole process. We’ve been renting for 15 years now and have moved 4 times in that period, dealing with a number of letting agents in the process. Our experience with Leaders was by far the best.

Money Grabbers - No customer care!!

No deposit option is a scam!!! We was pushed into taking the NDO by the representative who showed us round the property. We told her we had the deposit money but she kept pushing and pushing until we took the no deposit option using every tactic she had. Then when we checked out they charged us through the roof charging us for stuff they claimed the landlord was going to fix before we moved in. She was obsessed with us leaving a 5 star review on Google she asked us I don’t know how many times “make sure you leave us a 5 star Google review” she even emailed me 3 times. Funny thing is she was nice as pie helping every way she could but as soon as we had the keys and had paid all our fees we struggled to get in contact with anyone!! There was countless problems with the property when we moved in that the representative told us would be fixed before we moved in and none were, even down to the shower not working and the bath plug didn’t push down so we was having to go back to our parents to have a shower. I called I don’t know how many times with no answer. Then after 2 weeks of calling them I finally got through to a rude girl in the Colchester branch who rudely told me all faults had to be reported on the online portal(which no one had told us about). We used the online portal to report the issues with the property but no one helped or fixed the issues, then they charged us for these problems when we moved out!! Ive been renting for over 10 years and I’ve never used such money grabbing useless letting agents and I would never use Leaders ever again!! All they are after is a bit of commission and a big chunk of money when you move out for damage you didn’t cause!! Absolutely disgusting bunch of people!!

I work for the NHS in Birmingham moving to Lowestoft, Suffolk.I needed to move quickly but don't know the Lowestoft area at all.I contacted Leaders in Lowestoft and was put in touch with Clare who deals with the lettings there.I explained my situation to Clare who immediately went into action locating potential properties for me.It wasn't long before I found what I was looking for. I left it in Clares capable hands who from start to finish was more than helpful. Clare helped with every stage of my application right through to completion. A Reliable, Friendly, caring team.

Dealt with Jade and the team in Loughborough for almost 2 years while the property was under Leaders care and there was never an issue too big or too small thag I felt I couldn’t email or come to them with.No matter who was in the office or available you never felt like it wasn’t their problem or issue and that they were always happy to help and answer a query.Friendly. Service provided went above and beyond.

Working in China and being unable to travel has left me with no alternative but to rent out my apartment in the UK. I emailed all the leading estate agents in my area and explained my situation. Only Leaders responded back to me. Since our first contact, the service has been exceptional, with constant communication and expert advice. I thought that trying to arrange everything to get my apartment ready for rental would have been a nightmare, it has not been thanks to Kim and her team. Highly reccomended.

Terrible company that does not care

Had a terrible experience with Leaders managing our move. The people we spoke to, while friendly, did not seem interested in doing their jobs well. Any questions we had took multiple calls to answer and we had to constantly chase the agents for information. We sent documents to the email address they gave us which were not picked up, and delayed our application. The available date of the house was changed to 5 days later without telling us, meaning we had planned our moving days and have had to scramble to change them. When we had a viewing at the house the agent forgot (!) and turned up 35 minutes late after I had called them. And to top it all off the house that we eventually got to view did not match the description of the house we had applied for - the most obvious difference being the lack of an en suite which had heavily influenced our decision to go for the house. By the time we found out it was a completely different house it was too late to change plans so we asked for a rent reduction as compensation. This was on Thursday evening and as yet (Tuesday morning) we have had no resolution and no apology from the company.Tomorrow was our planned move in date and at the moment we have no certainty that we willl have a house ready to move into even by the weekend.Avoid using Leaders if you possibly can, it's not worth this stress.EDIT- it has been a week since Leaders responded to this review saying they would get in touch and as yet I have heard nothing from them. Still no apology or acknowlegement of fault. This company does not care at all.

Move from Kent to Norfolk

Myself and my husband decided to move from Kent to Norfolk, with some apprehension as at our age it was a big move to make. However we are so pleased that our landlord decided to choose Leaders at Lowestoft to deal with our rental. They have made the move so easy, they have led us every step of the way and we’ve just had to follow their lead, making sure we forget nothing. The girls are friendly but professional and Pauline who showed us the bungalow in the first instance, was lovely. I must give a special mention to Clare who goes above and beyond. She will help in anyway possible finding the answers to all your questions no matter how silly they seem. I would recommend Leaders to anyone wishing to rent or buy a property. This company has the best employees and also best estate agents in the whole of UK. I moved my family from London to Crewe because of my Job transfers. Their staffs are always very helpful especially Chelsea and JO. Jo is the property manager of my rented house, anytime I have problem in the house she always get it sorted ASAP. Very easy to approach and she possess a good customer relations. Chelsea.. wow.. from the front door that I walk into the leaders hub, she made me felt like I'm home already. Worst Lettings Agency

Worst Lettings Agency. NOT TrustworthyI am forced to write this detailed account of my horrible experience of Leaders Letting Agency, particularly the property management team at Bourne Office. I have been waiting for the return of my deposit. I had completed all the formalities relating to the check-out from the property and completed all online documentation work and also accepted the deductions. Despite this my deposit amount is now being held and when I call up the office in Bourne, they are blatantly lying that they have initiated the refund. I confirmed this with the TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme) who clearly gave me reference number and said they have not received any instructions for the return of the deposit amount. Such is the deceitful methods of working of people at Leaders. I urge people not to trust them specially when it comes to the return of Deposit money
