I used Leaders to source and coordinate my property rental. I found them very professional and responsve. They had potential tenants ready to view prior to my purchase date and I had a tenant in situ within a few weeks of purchase. Ham kept me up to date and resloved any issues, presenting me with a solution. I'd definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Utterly awful - obstructive and unhelpful

Utterly awful. I indicated in February I wanted to transfer my properties to another agent. They ummed and ahhd and weren't responsive. They eventually said I needed to give 3 months notice - this expired on 1st May. During this period they were unhelpful and unresponsive to our new agent and to me - not supplying them with enough detail to let them take over. It is now some 6 weeks after that date and only today (June 16th- after me submitting a complaint) have they supplied the required information to the new agent. In the meantime they have still been receiving rent from the tenants (they only revealed this when I asked). They are now refusing to send that rent on to me but want to return it to the tenants instead. They have also destroyed the original tenancy agreement and have no digital copy. This is either appalling incompetence or deliberate obstruction. Incidentally the main reason I wanted to move is that their online portal is rubbish and gets in the way of normal communication with a landlord.

Leaders is one of absolutely appalling letting agencies around. As a landlord I was treated very badly. They never listened to my concerns or acted in my interest although they took 12% of the monthly rent for their “services”They were only interested making money and were overcharging me for services I already paid for, didn’t need any of hem and weren’t answering to complaints.The general manager Andrew Lay is appalling person without ounce of decency and sense of good business ethics. My complain was left unanswered for 4 months and I made appointment to see them in person, which gas refused as Ms Lay was too busy to see me. We had agreement that they have to ask me for approval if the repairs were exceeding £250, which I was never asked for approval and final price was £2570 for changing the seal of the water spout and cleaning the bathroom overflow pipe. I got in contact with the workman who told me that his quote was £780 plus VAT.Rest was Leaders top off charge. I asked for explanation but never got any streat answers from Andrew Lay. They kept two of the monthly rents and in the end I took them to the Ombudsman ( TPOS) and changed letting agency. Appalling behaviour and in a business to rip off tenants and landlords alike.AVOID BY ALL COST

I am a long time overdue in writing a review for the team at the Emsworth office, and have been spurred into writing because over the past few months the whole team have excelled on our behalf . David the manager has been brilliant in guiding and supporting us through some difficult and unforeseen situations , for which we are most grateful to him. I reported that my entrance door to my flat was broken and the door is not closing and nobody is helping me. The property is not secured . I don't even know whether l will ever get help or not. This is really bad and disheartening to be ignored like this.

Stay away from them!!!

My boyfriend recently moved into the country and was provided accommodation by his company. He decided to rent on his own being his first time, he fell into the hands of Leaders....very wrong hands.Abdul is the name of the consultant that handled his rent from Leaders. I was on the phone with my boyfriend all through the viewing and I also spoke with Abdul and explained to him that my boyfriend is new and not used to the procedure. We asked all the questions we needed to and told him the date my boyfriend wanted his move to take place. He mounted so much pressure on my boyfriend and was just answering all our questions with "don't worry about". I was not comfortable but he got my boyfriend. When it was time to fill the forms, Abdul advised my boyfriend to inflate his income. He wanted to sell the rent to him by all means and was asking him to pay because the previous viewer was interested too and he wanted him to have it. I disagreed and told him that his income was more than enough to rent. All checks went through and the wrong move in date was sent. My boyfriend complained about this as he wanted his move in date to be conveniently close to his pay day which was mentioned at viewing. Abdul said to my boyfriend that it was not his fault that he did not have money to rent. That was out of place and not true. He later asked my boyfriend to call the headoffice to change this which he did.A day or 2 to move in date, Abdul called to inform my boyfriend that the place he was to move to was no longer available after all documents and contracts had been signed. He offered him an alternative which was not his choice and smaller for the same price. At this point, someone else was due to move into my boyfriend's place and he had to leave. Abdul was very rude and defensive went we spoke to him about the inconvenience that had caused. Abdul pressured him to take the alternative which was unfair to take advantage of him not used to the system. Abdul refused to speak with me at that point because i told him he was wrong to force my boyfriend, he insisted he wanted to speak with only my boyfriend. So my boyfriend called the head office to complain and negotiate but at each call, they promised that someone would call back but no one ever did. He had no choice than to take the alternative or be homeless. Now, the bathroom of the house leaks into the living room downstairs and they are still not doing anything about it.They just don't care. Stay away from them.
