Really cannot fault Zoe and Alex from the Bovey Tracey office. We bought our house four years ago from them, and then used them again now to sell it. Zoe, working at Chamberlains in their Bovey Tracey office was brilliant from start to finish working on the sale of my mother's home. Communication was really good, by phone or email, she kept me updated at every step. She provided a professional, friendly, excellent service throughout, tactfully negotiating some very challenging issues with my solicitor that ultimately helped both me as the seller and also the buyers in the process. Full credit to the team at Chamberlains Bovey Tracey particularly to Zoë who led the sale of our property. Zoë went above and beyond in proactively chasing up and progressing the sale, finding solutions rather than letting issues hold things up and keeping the chain in order. Zoë also worked well with the solicitors involved. She always communicated what was happening and clearly what we needed to do - even ringing or emailing on her days off or from holiday! Zoe and Sam are outstanding at their jobs and a pleasure to deal with. From our first contact with Zoe she was extremely sympathetic and she guided us sensitively, pragmatically (and with humour) through the whole process. Both Zoe and Sam are wonderful communicators: they are quick both to respond and to pre-empt when necessary and they kindly share their vast experience and wisdom and local knowledge of tradespeople with their clients to ensure the best and most timely possible outcomes. Zoe at Chamberlains is an amazing lady. Straight and to the point in such a way that you feel completely and utterly supported by someone who really knows their profession. Zoe really and I mean really listens to what it is you want. She also has the ability to see the potential of a property when selling it on to the next buyer. She will come up with all sorts of amazing ideas that help the sale of the property. No amount of questions is too many and she liaises beautifully with both vendor and seller to smooth out any bumps, for example issues with solicitors that slow things down or throw up problems. Zoe really is the utmost in a buying and selling experience. All your questions are answered, usually on the spot because she has done her homework or soon answered as she will definitely find out. This has never been my experience with any other estate agent, a wonderful part of the service to experience as I always have a lot of questions and I do expect a good agent to know them. The timely speed with which everything is dealt is another thing that impressed me as was the excellent communication she has with our solicitor, sales negotiator and so on, vitally important to ensure a smooth service. House buys can be stressful as you have no control as the vendor or purchaser, however, things are a lot less stressful when you have Zoe on the team. I must also thank Jess who has been a part of this house journey and who has herself been a fantastic agent , supporting Zoe and dealing with us on many occasions. A delightful young lady who’s aim is to please. I can thoroughly recommend Chamberlains to anyone who is thinking about buying or selling, you’ll be in excellent hands. Kate Guest
