Outstanding! Zoe and her team at Chamberlains, Bovey Tracey, recently sold my father's house on behalf of myself and my sisters. We received knowledgeable, professional, honest and friendly support from valuation through to completion, with absolutely no pushiness or pressure. Zoe was spot on with her valuation in a difficult market. She gave us clear advice and information every step of the way, and worked tirelessly across all parties involved to keep the sale processes running smoothly. Zoe kept us informed by phone or email very regularly and supported us to understand the legal processes, jargon and requirements on us. She responded really quickly to all of our communications. I would say that Zoe and her team went above and beyond what I would hope for and expect from an estate agent. Our very grateful thanks for everything they did to make a difficult time for the family so much easier. Zoë couldn't have been more helpful in understanding my requirements, finding suitable properties, holding them for me, excellent and friendly communications by phone and email with me/ solicitors etc to ensure the chain kept moving, even sourcing furniture for me! Zoe at Chamberlains he been helping us search for a home for the past 15 months. She listened to our needs and was not pushy in the way we have found other estate agents locally, selling a house is obviously important but we found that Zoe prioritised our needs over getting the sale and we are grateful for this attitude in what can be an emotive process. We have now found a house which was sadly not listed with Chamberlains but the service and care we received is deserving of this review. Chamberlains has to be the best estate agent in Bovey by miles. Rachel and Zoe are the kindest, most helpful and attentive professionals who offer the kind of bespoke service which seems increasingly rare these days. Nothing is too much trouble and their knowledge of the local housing market in Bovey Tracey is based on long standing experience. I have valued them enormously during the sale of my house and I would like to think friendships have been built during the process. We instructed Chamberlains in May 2023, after a sale was agreed on our house on 4 occasions and subsequently the chain falling through with another agent. Zoe and Rachel provided us with a quick and seamless service to get our house photographed and readvertised. They quickly found us a suitable buyer and from then on they worked extremely hard to facillitate the sale to completion. We used Chamberlains to sell my elderly mother's home last month. Mum was a little overawed by the process and required a lot of help from myself and my sister. Zoe and Rachel could not have been kinder, and were very understanding about when to talk to us directly to avoid distressing mum, and ensuring that no buyers contacted her directly. They were really helpful in guiding us through the crazy few days when the property was marketed, with a queue of buyers outbidding each other for her sought-after bungalow. The process took longer than anticipated, due to a couple of buyers in the chain pulling out. However, Zoe and Rachel kept us fully informed at all times and were very 'on it' to keep the process moving. Our purchase was a private sale and they liaised with our sellers, above and beyond what was required, to push the process through. I would not hesitate to recommend Chamberlains, and in particular Zoe and Rachel at the Bovey Tracey office, to anyone wishing to sell their home.

A truly brilliant service. They took the time to really understand the story of our property, which was a huge deal for us. It is always a difficult time for children when their mother passes away and dealing with the resulting sale of their property. I have to say from our first contact with Zoe, for the probate valuation, through to the eventual sale of our mother’s bungalow, the whole level of customer service provided was excellent. Zoe and her team where always available for help and advice, keeping us updated throughout the whole process. In particular after the initial contact Zoe and her team gave us time and space to grieve and deal with organising our mother’s funeral. There was no pressure put on us at any stage of the process and the sale of the property progressed only when we were ready. This compassionate and considerate approach was much appreciated by me and my brothers.
