FacebookBrilliant experience with Hearnes buying my first ever flat. Always kept up to date by James, when visiting the flat we offered on, Alec was more than willing to stay at it longer so my other half could drive from work to view it too. Great service!

FacebookWe have found our perfect 1st house thanks to the amazing Hearnes team. From start to finish sally and her team kept us informed of the progress and also explained each step as we moved through the process(greatly appreciated as 1st time buyers) Alec went out of his way arranging out of hours viewings and being on hand if we had any queries with quick email responses. We can’t thank you all enough and have settled so well into our lovely house. We will defo be back when it comes to property no.2

FacebookI wish I could have written a positive review, but unfortunately my experience using Hearnes was a shambles from start to finish. Despite a higher fee than some others, I signed with them for the reason of the very convincing valuation they put on the house combined with the huge number of buyers they guaranteed they had lined up waiting to view. Both were entirely untrue (6 or so viewings in 2 months, none of whom were credible buyers) and I now feel extremely gullible for falling for the sales patter. Eventually we were forced into accepting an offer which was way below what we had been guaranteed as a minimum, the only reason for accepting was because the buyers were chain free and a quick exchange and completion were assured. Again, this proved untrue. Not only were the buyers not chain free, but they were selling the house through........ Hearnes!!! At every stage I felt like Hearnes were pandering to the buyers at our expense, and the whole process extended months beyond what it should have done as everything became delayed by the supposedly non-existent chain. My request for a review of the fee based on me signing the contract under known false promises was given literally no consideration whatsoever. All in all the experience was a shocking example of how to treat a customer and I will be strongly advising anybody selling a house to go elsewhere for their agency.

GoogleHearnes have been amazing and especially Greg. From the get go he had been hands. He's kept me and my partner informed 24/7 and listed the property quickly. Viewings were coming in quick. We are really happy with the service so far and happy to say we have sold.

GoogleNEVER BELIEVE IN HEARNES’ WORD! They never keep their word in any matter, from confirmation for viewing to acceptance of offer, their word is a total joke, as admitted by their Sales Manager over the phone. We put an offer for a property, they confirmed our financial situation with our financial advisor, they confirmed our strong position and finally fully CONFIRMED US THAT OUR OFFER WAS ACCEPTED, that happens on Saturday afternoon, on Monday evening (2 days later) they changed their word completely admitting that their word is totally worthless, as THEIR CLIENTS DEAL DIRECTLY WITH THEIR VENDORS at their back. Excuses or not! This people are a fool, If you are seriously planning to buy any property, stay away from Hearnes and find a real professional, ethical and serious local estate agent.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
Hi Ivan. I am sorry you felt the need to write this, especially after our emails and phone calls explaining the situation over Monday evening and Tuesday. As you've explained within your review, our Seller accepted your offer on Saturday and we no longer showed applicants over the property. One particular applicant who enquired with us, and was told that the property was under offer, visited the Seller directly on Sunday and made an offer to the seller. Our Seller told us of the situation on Monday and that he was strongly considering the other offer, of which we relayed to you immediately. Whilst we pointed out to our Seller that your offer had already been accepted and the moral stance which should be considered, ultimately it is not our decision and we have to take instructions from our Seller whose property it is. Unfortunately his decision was to proceed with the other buyer, which we relayed to you by phone upon receiving the news. As expressed to you on Monday evening and Tuesday morning, we are very sorry for this situation. We would certainly not instigate a scenario like this and have been put in the unfortunate position of having to communicate this bad news to you on behalf of our Seller, who has made the decision.

Special thanks to Matt for facilitating the swift acceptance of my offer in the face of strong competition and to Sandy for dealing with all the solicitors in the chain and keeping things on track when it looked like it might might collapse.I would highly recommend Hearnes if you are looking to buy or sell in Bournemouth.

FacebookI can’t recommend Matt, James, Joe and the whole team at Hearnes enough! When we first sold our flat we had no idea a pandemic was about to happen, and to say it’s been a rollercoaster would be an understatement! These guys were all fabulous and helped us to get to completion day. If we ever move again in future, we’ll be using you again!

I want to point out that this review relates only to Hearnes in Ringwood and not in the other branches. The people at the Ringwood office seem to be incapable of replying to emails, phone messages etc. If I were trying to sell my property they would be the very last company i would use. They are absolutely hopeless.

Not only did they find us a buyer for our house within a matter of a few weeks, but we’ve also bought our new home through them as well. GoogleMatthew Hillier was fantastic. I asked to view two properties more than one time, one of them for a third! Never was i made to feel bad for this although it was probably a bit of a nuisance. Answered all my questions efficiently and went above and beyond to help me with any concerns i had.Would highly recommend !

GoogleTry removing yourself from their email distribution list - impossible. Even though I followed their instructions "reply with STOP" on at least 3 occasions I'm still receiving unwanted emails. I even telephoned the office to ask them to remove me from their distribution list. Still receiving emails.

GoogleI had a series of viewings led by Spencer Edenbrow of Hearnes, Bournemouth on January 28, 2023. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism and manner. He was discreet, but absolutely prepared and informed about the properties, answering all questions clearly and in a pleasant and professional way. We were all of that impresssion, and particularly when we discovered how old he is! I have very rarely encountered this to that level in 50 years of property experience.
