If I could rate them lower than 1 star, I would. Utterly disgraceful, and thoroughly unprofessional, company that had absolutely no intention of doing their jobs - which caused my mother to lose out on a place she had set her heart on renting. Even the landlord who Lovett were representing got fed up and walked away. Three months we were left waiting with no contact from Lovett that wasn't forced by us, constantly having to chase them up at every opportunity. The agent in charge of our case had us jumping through more hoops than a circus animal, a laundry list of checks and certifications (you'd think we were trying to buy a £650k flat rather than trying to rent a studio apartment) yet she didn't even have the common courtesy to keep us informed as to the progress of the application. She neglected to keep the landlord informed of the application as well, yet even told my mother that everything was fine now and that she should hand her notice in at her current landlord. We have since learned that the agent in charge is no longer working for the company, and I cannot help but hope she was fired for incompetence. Sadly it seems that's a trait that governs the business overall, as well as an overwhelming bad attitude, as trying to chase this up was met with aloof and condescending replies from the lettings manager who then emailed back to say no properties were available for housing benefit --- despite my mother, repeatedly, stating that she works and pays rent in cash. Disgraceful company that wasted several months of our lives and have left my mother completely in the lurch, having to quickly scramble to find somewhere to live after being told by the letting agent to hand in her tenancy notice.

The staff are good but i was not happy when one of thier Engineer came to my flat to check for the gas safety well i was wondering why he need to cut the top glass cover of my 4 burner Gas Stove and Im paying for my Insurance to Know how for any problem in that Gas Stove i informed lovett maintainance office they told me its gas safety wow last year they did check but they didnt touch anything....now i cant place the cover because they cut the holder lost the screw of the glass cover...i want an answer to this .....i want them ti fix it ....

Lovett have been excellent to deal with throughout the journey of buying a flat From Amanda who showed us round,David who willingly let us view when required for sizes etc(plus with home welcome pack ) a very nice gesture on behalf of the company & last but by no means least Clair the progress chaser who was amazing professional & dedicated to helping all parties in the chain move forward with her outstanding help whilst keeping a lovely sense of humour through the process.Lovett are extremely fortunate to have her . Used 2 or 3 differential agents to start and nothing, no real contact and I contacted Lovett's and meet with James the Assistant Manager best thing I did. They listed the property and in days had viewings and within a couple of weeks had an offer, every step of the way was professional and they all kept me in contact and up to date with everythign, they really do know their market and are realistic with valuations. The after care with Clair who is amazing I could not sing her praises any more she was in the ball from start to finish always kept me in the loop even if there wasn't an update, willing to help with my solosolici and chase if I needed and was my rock through the painful process. She never gave up and always was cheerful and positive. For the job Clair has to do and people she needs to deal with my hat goes off to her she reallu is amazing. I hope to never move again but if I did I would go straight back to Lovett's 100% Thank you all for making it such a easy process they literally did everything they could for us.

Firstly, this is my first negative review ever. I just edited a positive one that I wrote below due to the strongly disappointing circumstances. Don't go near this Lovett if you have anywhere else to go, the people I've met stole our money and lied. When me and my partner moved in on agreed date, the flat wasn't prepared for us - it wasn't cleaned and was just dirty (pictures saved to show for people of interest). We already had van full of staff parked in front and moved out of our previous flat the same day, so we had no choice but to move in. The Lovett agent proposed that we should then clean this apartment by ourselves and the agency will pay us for it. It was weekend and cleaner couldn't be organised, so we agreed to it. We've worked through the weekend to clean fridge/floors/kitchen/cupboards/toilet etc. The Lovett agent responsible for cleaning was sent by agency to check if it is up to the standard and apparently it was, because no decision to send a professional was made to clean it for us some more. But the money payment was postponed until the day we moved out. We made an extra effort and worked through the weekend to make the place shine (pictures to show to compare to the state when we moved in to show for reference) Then the Lovett agent came again and said now it isn't up to the standard and they cannot give any money to us for the first cleaning to pay for this one. So they lied to make us clean the apartment for free. Maybe they just think they can use us because we're foreign. Anyhow, keep away. I have been a tenant for quite a long time through Lovett international as the agency. The staff are friendly face to face, however very few of them seem to care about getting issues dealt with. We reported various issues with our rented flat and they haven't acted on any of them enough for over 3 months- probably still have not - we moved out. Admin side seems to be quite poor and the general state of the flat we moved in originally 'needs attention' everywhere but none of which was took into consideration and they even have the cheek to increase the rent once I personally made the place overall better- however this could of been the landlord we never did see in the 3-4 years of being a tenant. Not a big fan of this agency and will do my best not to cross paths with them again.

Over the years my property company has successfully used Lovetts many times to both rent out properties and to sell them. Max De Kment, the driving force behind the business, is widely known in local property circles and has a real insight into the local market. We have found Lovetts to be very good at attracting both tenants and purchasers and they have always looked after our needs well. Their extensive marketing campaigns on the radio, magazines, agency boards etc seem to be everywhere and they certainly pay off in terms of generating interest in our properties. All in all we like Lovetts - they get results!

As a first time buyer I looked round and engaged with many different Estate agents. I choose Lovett because the staff were very friendly and helpful to me, and above all as a customer, all I ever want is people to do what they say they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. I already had my property tied in with another Estate Agent at the time of selling my home; however with my move my job transferred areas and Lovett International became a client of mine. Max gave me sound and professional advice at at time when I very much needed it and this helped me manage my sell through to completion with the other agent. This advice was greatly appreciated and I know from working with Lovett International the expertise they have with selling properties and how important the role they play through to completion is. The staff are very knowledgeable in all aspects of property sales, lettings, management and maintenance. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff of Lovett and they always strive to ensure that clients' needs are met without any fuss. I am selling two flats and at all times through quite a difficult situation they have been extremely professional. They constantly kept me updated with frequent phone calls and helped me with any questions I have needed answered. These has not been a straightforward sell as we have had probate to go through and we don't live in the area. I would certainly recommend them.
