On the recommendation of my mortgage advisor, I put my property up for sale with Jackson Bailey. They are a small, independent agent who have excellent knowledge of the local housing market and gave clear advice on the marketing and pricing of my home. I had 2 viewings in the first 6 days, both offered the asking price, we hadn't even got a sale board up ! The service, professionalism, advice and communication throughout the whole sale process has been absolutely faultless. They kept me fully informed at all stages of the sale and liaised between all parties to ensure that my sale has exchanged at impressive speed. I cannot recommend Ben and his team highly enough. We bought our house through Jackson Bailey and Isobel showed us the property. Isobel was informative and friendly and could tell she knew the area and the house. Ben was great at keeping us updated with the progress of sale and kept things moving along nicely. Ben and Jack made buying our first home very easy! They were very accommodating with allowing us to visit the property, in frequent contact and proactive in moving the process along. From a buyers perspective, would definitely recommend. UPDATE: Used Jackson and Bailey to sell the house we purchased a couple of years ago (where they were the agent). We have just completed and moved into our first home. I have to say that Jackson Bailey and in particular Ben (who dealt with our transaction) have been first class from start to finish. We had a very bad experience with our solicitors and I strongly believe that our move would not have gone ahead without Ben and the team who went above and beyond to secure our move. What a DELIGHTFUL experience! From the viewing, offer and completion Jackson Bailey delivered a fantastic service. Being my first purchase I thought it would be complicated but the support and attention given by Ben, Isobel, Jack and Hannah was truly magnificent. Communication was clear, concise and timely. Well what can I say but a HUGE thank you to Ben and the Jackson Bailey team. I got a call on the 9th of April from my Letting Agent telling me they were no longer trading and that my tenants had moved out the previous day. Empty apartment, no rent income = panic. I put a call out to Ben on the very same day informing him of what I’d just been told and knowing Jackson Bailey were just starting up the Lettings side of the business I couldn’t think of anyone I’d rather work with. On the 11th my apartment went live and within seconds we had an enquiry followed by several more. Viewings were arranged and by the 13th a tenant was secured. Hannah then took over the reigns getting all the necessary paperwork done, the inventory and everything else in between. My tenant moved in yesterday, the 29th, just three weeks after we went live. We signed up with Jackson Bailey after 9 weeks of numerous unsuccessful viewings and 0 offers from another agent in Hedge End. Jack came round and explained how they operate and we decided at that moment based on the way that he came across that we wanted to list our property with them. Expectations were managed throughout and we sold the property for almost exactly what we listed it, based on Jack's advice, inside of 1 week. As with most house sales, things slowly progressed as others in the chain concluded their searches and enquiries and such. Around a month prior to our exchange date (today), Jack took it upon himself to start trying to move things along, given the end of the SDLT holiday ending on March 31st. Since that time, Jack has managed to get all of the solicitors on board with exchanging today and we've got a completion date that gives everyone enough time to get things in order. All of this in the midst of a global pandemic and a national lockdown. Everyone I have spoken to about Jackson Bailey (including their competitors in the same area), speaks so highly of them and I can understand why. We used Jackson Bailey to sell our house. Jack took fantastic photos of the property, helping us make sure that our house looked perfect and maximising all the space. The Whatsapp group set up for both of us, Jack and Ben was invaluable. It meant we were all kept in the loop about viewings and with any feedback given. We had originally had our house for sale with another estate agent who didn't seem to put much effort in, just another house on an already busy book. So we changed to Jackson Bailey. SO glad we did. I would definitely recommend Jackson Bailey estate agents. They provided an excellent service. They went above and beyond expectations. They would let us know regularly how our property was performing on Rightmove. As independent agents, they had dedicated time to deal with your sale, instead of other agents that have a large clientele. We unfortunately lost our first buyer in the pandemic but Jack managed to secure us a new buyer within 3 days. Jack kept us updated throughout the whole process and wouldn’t hesitate to chase solicitors to ensure the sale went through. Both Jack and Ben were great to get hold of via their WhatsApp group or by phone. They both are down to earth and straightforward speaking guys but still kept professional at all time. I can’t recommend Ben and Jack at Jackson Bailey enough. The customer service, communication, knowledge and experience and willingness to go the extra mile is nothing short of breathtaking. Every week we would be provided a summary of what was happening, including a breakdown of online activity with graphs giving data on website and Rightmove hits. We’ve used other agents in the Hedge End area and have been thoroughly disappointed and frustrated, with no communication for weeks on end. Jackson Bailey have broken the mold, from the WhatsApp group just for our property (Ben would answer a query at 8pm on Sunday evening!!) to the in depth updates, others just are not in the same ballpark. I had already felt I'd go with an agent with a shop in Hedge End, but once I'd made contact with Ben I'd changed my mind completely.
