A huge thank you and raving review for The Purple Property shop. From the personal approach by the Director, to Hayley getting all the viewings in quick-time, to the sales negotiator machine of Kelly and lastly the support and chasing from Paige to get it over the line - we can't fault them and are so glad we chose this independent estate agents over a big branch (even when they tried to "bedazzle" us with figures). Signed up to sell my property with the Purple Property Shop after being interested in one of their properties for sale. The worst decision I've ever made. On listing the property they informed me that they had buyers wanting property in my area. I was advised that I could have professional photos taken, but at an additional fee to myself. I did think that a professional Estate Agent should be capable of taking decent photographs without paying an additional fee, but, after signing the contract it turned out that the photographs were amateurish and poor. I tried, with the help of a friend, to resolve the photograph issue, by visiting the office to discuss, however, the agent was derogatory and arrogant. The property was on the market for just over 4 months and despite reducing the price I had only one viewing. I asked for another sale board to be erected on the main road, to increase visibility, on more than 1 occasion, each time I was told they would look into it, but it never materialised. This company tie you into a 6 month contract and do only the basics. I begrudgingly paid £400 for the pleasure of getting out of the contract. Not a good experience and a waste of time. I wish I knew then, as I do now, that a good estate agents won't tie you into a contract or ask you to pay extra for professional photographs. Don't bother!! ****my response to the update below****** I did not provide a previous review regarding photographs? Not all estate agents charge extra for professional photographs. I was happy with the updated photographs that were taken after our meeting, Molly is very capable and accommodating, there was never any critiscm of her professional attitude. My point about the tie in period and paying to leave is that I was dissatisfied with the lack of positive action during the time my property was on sale with you. I totally understand that I would be required to pay for the marketing that you had done. Of course I signed the contract, in hindsight I wished someone had written an honest review prior to me doing this though. Why would I leave during the 14 day cooling-off period, I had no reason to at that point. Don't be fooled, other agents either don't tie you in or ask for a minimal tie In period. My review is there to assist other sellers to make an informed decision.

Although our property took a while to sell Michelle, Todd and the team never gave up. Todd always at the end of the phone to answer our questions. Michelle what can we say amazing sales techniques very informative to the people viewing. It was very nice to see her come prior to her first viewing to understand our home and ask us any questions that she was unsure of. They answered all queries promptly and didn’t mess me about. They were honest and accommodating. Right from the start and from welcoming Matthew into our property which we had decided to rent out, we knew we were in safe hands. Their expertise in the market for sales and letting property is faultless and they have packages to suit everyone. Sally and Aimee have worked so hard on our behalf making sure that viewings got full attention, credit checks done by potential tenants, all legal premises certificates were done and for a new landlord like myself, and I found this so helpful. Recently requested the help of The Purple Property Shop with the sale of my house. My first time with this and they have been great at helping with the process. Mollie has been truly wonderful.
