Would not recommend to my worst enemy

A terrible experience with Entwistle Green (Westhoughton). The team were never really interested in helping us pursue the house we wanted and made up lies & excuses. We dealt with Tammy and Claire who made little effort in easing what should be a fun experience. They tried their absolute hardest to keep us from viewing the house. They then claimed to have "accepted" our offer.. yet still listed a previous lower offer on their website. They kept taking other offers. We were still adamant we wanted this house, so we raised the stakes.. so much to the point that they said they'll be opting for another buyer for a LOWER PRICE. It was never about price.. they never took our offer seriously and tried to delay our purchase (due to "technical issues"). If they ever faced an issue, they wouldn't contact me. I had to pick up the phone 5 times a day to get every little update. Service was so poor - Claire (someone who is clearly in the wrong job!) could barely count up our deposit figures.

Recently moved house with the help of Tammy and the team from Entwistle Green Westhoughton. I can honestly say that without them there would have been no move. Tammy went over and above to resolve many issues created by the other parties involved in the process. At the best of times moving is a stressful process but nothing was too much for Tammy and when I was getting nowhere with the solicitors I knew I could turn to her and she would move heaven and earth to try and help. If you want to sell your house and want it done by an experienced, helpful, dedicated and friendly team, then look no further than the Westhoughton branch of Entwistle Green.

Don't use this estate agents they are worse company I've dealt with past 30 years, they will share your personal information with other agencies when you tell them by phone or by email not too. out of contract they want to charge me fee when they not entitle to. they will lie that they not monitoring their email when in the past reply to it I will make a formal complaint towigan council and financial authorities about them. Stay away at all cost.Update 1 june 21 they take me to court and they lost.

We recently sold our house through Entwistle Green’s Westhoughton branch. From Laura calling around, signing us up and explaining the process, Tammy’s constant support and availability, over the phone and in branch, to Claire’s assured manner, knowledge and leading of her team, we have nothing but praise for the branch. As with almost all house sales there were problems, delays etc, everything was taken in their stride and we were kept informed every step of the way. Our property wasn’t even in Westhoughton, however, they were recommended by some friends and, thankfully, we employed their services, thanks again Claire and the girls.

The whole team at the Westhoughton branch have been fabulous in assisting me to sell my house and purchase another property. Each time i had to contact their office i was fully supported in understanding all the procedures in regards to selling my former property. The team were ‘by far’ the best part of the process when selling our house in April. All the staff were fantastic, even whilst dealing with our buyer who seemed determined to be as awkward as possible. Tammy’s communication was great throughout and a real help when trying to get answers from solicitors and things moved on faster.
