Visited Destiny in doncaster in July 2018 and Julie the sales advisor was brilliant with us. We’ve had a few hiccups along the way with the mortgage side of things which Julie was very supportive and gave us some great advice. I would highly reccomend buying a strata home. We couldn’t thank Julie enough. We are due to complete in May 2019

Initial experience with Alison was …

Initial experience with Alison was great. Went downhill from when we got the keys, walked into a leak in the kitchen. Negative experience of snagging and engaging with the site team to deal with the snagging. Poor communication and timeframe around resolving issues. We also had an issue with recommend a friend, whilst we received a payment our recommended friends are still waiting.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs! Worst builders in the country. I bought a brand new apartment built by them in 2008. From day one we had leak after leak on the flat roof. They botched it and botched it until the warranty ran out and then used their legal team to make sure they weren't liable anymore.80% of the top floor flats have water leaking into the property and a number of them the roof has completely fell in and ruined the properties. And thanks to the poor design, build and repairs by strata we have no option but to replace the entire roof at a cost of over £250k. This roof was a problem from build, it has never been rectified properly. We have had numerous roofing companies inspect and report and I only wish I could share the videos and reports showing the design problem and botched repairs. Up until this point all 36 landlords have held off from going public but now we have local mp's and media involved and we will be exposing Strata homes and the nightmare and lives they have ruined. People have been living in unsafe property with water pouring in for 3 years! And nobody can sell or rent out until this is rectified. Avoid them at all costs! Learn from the other reviews on here and Never buy a strata home!

Anyone reading this considering buying…DONT

Anyone reading this considering buying a house , please come to the kudos site and see the state of the place after 5 years, and if you are happy to live where articulated lorries and trucks pass by your house all day everyday, where paths and roads are dug up, filled and dug up again ,all the while still not anywhere near finished, where you like to have your windows covered in dust from works being done and redone again, and also like the sound of construction and mainly destruction all day this is definitely the place for you. To get a view of the customer experience just read the reviews where they cant even bother replaying to people who have legitimate reason to complain and they send a copy and paste reply. I strongly advise you to avoid and dont buy.

Venice Attraction site

We moved into our Venice on the Attraction site three years ago. Although we’ve had a lot of after sales jobs (some of which were highlighted in an end of warranty survey), we have worked closely with Strata and they have all been rectified. James in particular has gone above and beyond expectations to help us, and to ensure we received the best possible care. We absolutely love our home, and would highly recommend Strata to anyone who is thinking of purchasing a house from them.

Avoid Strata dream Hull

This company will do anything to sell you there properties and then when they have your money they do not care about your happiness. We visited dream Hull to view the show home , but we had a concern over the affordable housing ie rental property Previously 5 years ago we bought a new keepmoat house on Southcoates Lane , affordable housing was mix with purchased property and we had nothing but trouble with anti social behaviour. So our main question when looking at dream was , where are the rental properties or social housing. We were told all these were separate and not mixed with purchased property. We chose a house and went ahead , fast forward to moving in June 23 , we then find out that half the street has been sold to 13 group and Hull city Council. One of the properties has 10 occupants. We are extremely upset by the way strata told us there wouldn't be rentals down our street and now there is lots . They say anything to get the sales and then di the opposite. We have contacted strata but they are not prepared to do anything basically saying we can sell our houses to who we want . Please avoid this site , lies for sales . Update they've come back saying they haven't had any reports of anti social behaviour, what do they call a house being burnt down and having to be completely rebuilt, also kids at night knocking down all the fencing at night ,which was reported . This company just lie , as to support offered we've received nothing.

Fixed door

One of Strata's joiners came to sort out the front door. His name is Jeff. Sorted the door really quickly and very profrssionally even though others have previously not been able to sort the issue, he identified that the door was at the maximum adjustment and so would have to be realigned. We have had very few issues with our new home since moving in. I'm sure if Jeff had hung the door in the first place it wouldn't have needed sorting, but glad it has been done and grateful to Strata for sorting any issues promptly.

We have lived in our home for over…7 years

We have lived in our home on Elegance Ackworth for over seven years. When we purchased was told the roads and pavements would be finished in two years. There would also be speed humps on Turnberry Avenue, benches on the green and here we are nearly eight years later all we have to show for it is an unfinished green space and community centre, roads that are not fit for purpose and dangerous pavements and the last workmen we spoke too said no traffic calming measures were planned. A grey metal pole that had a delivery sign on it has been abandoned in the ground on the green open space. We also have an issue outside our house where water collects making a deep puddle every time it rains so when cars speed through it our car/drive get soaked and anyone that happens to be passing.The estate is nothing like the promotional video and plans we were shown during purchasing. Very disappointed

Email after email with little response

Email after email with little response, 3 years in our home (the last to be sold) and still the roads and surrounding area are a mess. Our cars are taking a hammering each and every day! I’ve had three lots of damage to my car since living here and you take no responsibility. You have now started to act given the volume of poor reviews, but that shouldn’t have to happen! I am still waiting for your QS team to confirm why the land in front of my home isn’t hardcore as per the plans and instead left as an overgrown mess for us to maintain at our expense!!Sort it out Strata!! We didn’t pay 1000s to live in an eyesore! You’ve got our money, now you don’t care.
