Bognor! Absolutely shocking in time. When we first went with them, it was with AnC letting. No issues at all. Actually helped us, gave us a chance. Merged into Henry Adams. Constant issues, rent goes up in lumps each year. They send cowboys to temporary fix issues, the front handle door still broke, leakes in the same place when it rains. Rotten shower plastics and windows. The lady who handles the rent admin ect is very rude and lies, not realising already been told things from contractors ect lol and not helpful at all, goes to show they only care about the landlords and putting up rents. Down stairs is the same landlord which they tried to lie about, when they needed things doing, their rent stays the same. When we had to report issues that are serious, our rent jumps up! The walls upstairs get completely wet in the winter yet fobbed of with blame. Yes some staff are nice n helpful, but not all. Apparently no damp issues in flats that are old!

Sam Thorne has been absolutely outstanding so far and it’s only been a matter of 24h!!! He has answered any questions I have had but more importantly given me some answers to questions I hadn’t even thought to ask! He is super friendly, proactive and willing to do his all to make the process a breeze. He wastes no time and is prompt to put you in touch with all different departments and they have great communication between them. He only wants to provide the best care for his clients and this has shone through with his bubbly personality. He has provided me with all types of options I hadn’t even realised were a possibility! The rest of the team have all been fab too but a special mention to their new starter Sam Thorne! 100% recommend these guys. Jodie was also extra fabulous as not only did she come to me out of hours as my silly work schedule made life hard, but she was super friendly and broke everything down should I decide to let my property as opposed to sell! I am writing this review to express my utter distaste and disbelief at the customer service I have received from this business. I recently enquired regarding an apartment which had been advertised by your team on Rightmove and which I was very interested in renting. Therefore I called your team immediately to arrange a viewing. I managed to secure the first viewing of the apartment within the earliest time slot. Once this was arranged (as it was days in advance of the viewing appointment) I had time to think it over and didn’t want to take the chance of losing this property so I once again communicated with your team to see whether I could put an offer in without viewing the apartment as I was happy with the photos posted on the site. I was told that it is not possible and that I need to view the apartment first. After viewing the apartment I spoke to your office immediately to put in an offer and I even went over and above the asking price to secure the property. I was told my offer will be put through to the landlord and I would get an answer the following day. The following day, I had heard nothing, no communication whatsoever so once again I rang your office around midday to ask for an update. I was told the person dealing with it was not in that morning which is why there is a delay but he would get back to me in the afternoon. There was still no communication. I called the office again at around 3:30pm for an update after the flat status had miraculously changed to ‘let agreed’ online. I was then informed that the status was updated to stop further enquiries but they’ve not come to a decision yet but someone will call me back by the end of day (6pm). I can’t help but think that this is not true as every time I communicated it seemed like I was bothering them and was an inconvenience asking for an update on my offer when I was promised a call that day. All I wanted was an update! Fast forward to 5:30pm I call again and was told that a message has been passed for someone to call me back urgently before 6pm. I didn’t receive any call, as expected. The following morning I hoped someone would get back to me first thing having passed the message the following evening… but no call once again. I then called up at 10:45am to be told “We’ve just taken a holding deposit and unfortunately the landlord did not choose you. We were actually about to call you right now!” (Hmm, sure). I wasn’t given any other information and the lady on the phone rushed to end the call but said they would call me back if anything changes. In my humble opinion, they had already earmarked this property for somebody else prior to the viewings. After having to call up 4 times for an update I don’t believe anyone will contact me. I have provided my phone number and email also but I seem to be ignored. I work in a very similar industry and I understand things can get busy, however ignoring someone for over 24 hours and then to be bluntly told their application did not go through is quite rude and disrespectful. Total waste of time and terrible communication. Avoid this letting agency at all costs.

This was quite the venture starting in March 2020 with this sale being the third attempt having 2 previous agreements falling through due to vendor apathy at one and found issue preventing sale proceeding on the other.
