Absolutely awful experience - avoid at all costs.
Rob, thank you for your review. We are truly sorry for the experience you’ve had. We can see that we let you down at several points, and we want to acknowledge that openly. The way your sale and potential purchase were handled lacked the clear communication, urgency, and care that you should have received. As a rule our clients should always be prioritised, and in this instance that didn’t happen. The disappointment of not securing the home you expected understandably left a lasting impact, and we recognise that this is at the root of your frustration. The delay in removing your property and sales board only compounded matters, and for that we hold our hands up completely. We’ve been helping people move in this area for over 30 years, and during that time we’ve always believed that our role goes far beyond just selling houses. We live and work in these neighbourhoods ourselves, and we feel a deep responsibility to the people who trust us. Being part of the fabric of the local community means being straight, being accountable, and putting people first. In your case, we fell short of that, and we are genuinely sorry. We've used Seymours Horsell for 5 transactions now over several years; as well as all the searching in between. It always feels as though they actually enjoy their jobs and that shines through. They're passionate, knowledgeable and helpful. We wouldn't consider using anyone else - although hopefully we're done moving house now!
What lovely comments Nick. We really do enjoy the job but we also enjoy the Horsell neighborhood and all of its people, it feels like an extended family to us and we love to be a part of its success. GoogleI was a little sceptical on buying a property after being gazumped on the first attempt by another agency. Seymours, Blackwater gave me the confidence. They were very professional in their approach. Claire have been amazing, answering all my questions. Aiden as well. He was quick to resolve the conflicts about the date of completion. They both ensured a smooth and stress free completion. I would recommend them.

GoogleTotally impressed with Seymours from start to finish. I had other Larger Local Estate agents promise the world and just couldn't compete. They handled our sale with ease.. I would highly recommend them .. Totally professional and operate a very personable service.. straight talking and to the point ... diffently not your stereo typical Estate agents. Sale to completion took less than two months. And always kept me informed. A big thank you for all your hard work and professionalism. Should I sell or purchase another property I would use no one else.

We were previously trying to sell with another estate agent and even after months of marketing our property with them, they were unsuccessful. GoogleWe met with James following a recommendation from a friend and found his approach to be honest, professional and a refreshing change from some of the other more corporate estate agents. Combined with Seymours competitive pricing structure, we didn't hesitate to market our property with them. James and the whole team were always helpful, communicative and realistic throughout the entire process. We achieved a price for our property that we were happy with. Estate Agents generally don’t get a good press but our experience with Seymour’s has been positive. House buying/selling can be very stressful, and as well as knowledge of the market and sound advice, frank, honest and regular communication was important to us. We feel we’ve had that with Seymours.

You couldn't dream up a more incompetent, rude and unprofessional company if you tried. They have absolutely no clue on the market place and pricing, the appear to be trained in providing the post passive aggressive and abusive service they can muster and lack any levels of service and professionalism.
