Shocking experience with aftercare from Elan Homes. Very good to get you to the point of sale and move you in but as soon as the last house is finished they are off and it takes months to get anything sorted. Currently still waiting for them to finish the road drainage and my driveway and its been nearly 2 years. Would not recommend then to anyone

Overall very satisfied with our new house, the sales team have been very good, most new houses have snags which need sorting, but fortunately nothing major, and problems have been taken seriously and items have been replaced or adjusted as required, my opinion of Elan Homes is positive, they aren't perfect but they try very hard to get things right.

Purchasing a new home off plan can understandably be stressful and hard to visualise however Hilary has gone above and beyond to explain each step and help us with choosing our upgrade options. 4 years since the last house was occupied and still our estate has not been finished. Still has unfinished work so it can be adopted by the council and the ripoff freehold area still not been handed over to the residents. Completely being ripped off by the appointed estate management company and elan just don’t care. Utter shambles this house builder

Will at Whittingham fold was extremely helpful in showing us around the houses on view, and took the time to explain everything. Although we decided not to purchase due to not knowing the area well enough, the whole experience was made pleasurable by Will.

We did have a few problems moving in due to material shortages, also a problem with our heating when we moved in , but they were prompt with trying to resolve the problem, Kate has also been very helpful with odd problems we have had, and we are very happy in our new home.

We purchase our first home this year from Elan, a few little snags when we where in there, but they where rectified quickly, site manager Adam very helpfulSales team helped us through the sale, picking our options etc, although they did lack towards the end regarding keeping us updated on the completion dateOverall would recommend

So far so good, staff are really helpful, it has been relatively stress free process so far. I’m Slightly worried about making handover deadlines. Currently completing each task as fast as possible however there is a lot of waiting on third parties. I hope this is taken into consideration.

This was the Elan houses on the outskirts of Southport, the lady assistant was friendly and helpful. I didnt buy a house but did really like the houses, area, development. I just decided it was the wrong place for me. I will be staying in Kent for the foreseeable future.
