Keenans were excellent

Keenans were excellent. We have just sold 2 properties with them. I work in the property industry and have bought and sold many properties over the years and I found Keenans to be very good. Keenans gave me a valuation which significantly exceeded that of other agents we approached. I confess I was not convinced with their valuation and thought that the value suggested had been offered simply to secure the instruction. I was completely wrong. Keenans generated a lot of interest at their valuation and we sold both properties in reasonable time at the asking price. I would highly recommend them. We are significantly better off having having put faith in their agency.

My wife and I live 250 miles from the property we rent out through Keenans. We both work full-time. The last 6 months has been quite frenetic from a landlord perspective as there have been a number of dynamic challenges that have presented themselves for us to navigate. We used the Accrington branch to sell my Father's property. We had an entitled time waster make an offer. Even though she was told by her mortgage provider the property was worth the amount offered, she wanted to send various builders round to establish the costs to make the amendments she wanted. She didn't send them all round in one week, it went on for weeks and refused to progress the sale with a solicitor. We asked Lorraine to put the property back on the market and she did. The buyer then stormed in to the branch and demanded that the property was taken off the market. This was done so without our consent. We would not have agreed. Perhaps some of the team are a little inexperienced. Lorraine's experience shone through, always pleasant, knowledgeable and her customer service was excellent and professional. The 5 stars are down to Lorraine.

Racist when picking buyers for vendors

Racist when picking buyers. They pick the white man over a coloured man. Gave an offer higher than the other buyer and apparently vendor is happy with other person. Absolute lies. Rang multiple each time increasing offer. Even when offer was higher they didn't accept. We should not be giving this estate agents business. It's clearly for white people. Blackburn branch is terrible. Manager Jonathan a total fool. We know how estar agents work, you aren't fooling anyone. Going against legal laws. Will be taking further action. Enough is enough.
