I used Entwistle Green for managing my property in Blackburn. After my tenant gave notice I was contacted by Sue Osbaldeston, who guided me through the legalities and advised me on what I should and should not do. She was helpful & professional throughout the whole process. Her guidance regarding the check out process was invaluable, especially as there were several issues regarding how the property had been left. She remained inpartial to both myself and the tenant, focusing solely on the check out report, which covered in detail the various areas of damage. I was quite emotional because the house I have been letting out used to be my home, and her empathetic approach and ability to handle the situation professionally & speedily gives me the confidence to continue to use Entwistle Green. I can't thank her enough. I would also like to mention Paola Sullivan from the Blackburn lettings team who has also been of great assistance & demonstrated a lot of patience, in what were difficult circumstances at times. Especially when the tenant would often contact me direct, due to previously managing the property myself. A compromising situation for Paola. But she always remained professional & helpful. I can't thank either of them enough.

We have been dealing with Entwistle green for a few months as looking to buy in the Blackburn area . The team at this office have been absolutely brilliant and have really tried to find us the right house . We have been contacted at least weekly to see how we were getting on and informing us of new stock . I don’t often leave reviews but I feel it is well deserved and I have dealt with many other estate agents where the service has not been the same !

It doesnt even deserve to be rated at all with any stars but I do not have a choice to rate it , I have moved from one city to a town where I am unable to get any help. With so many complains still they prefer to be stubborn and not agree to help , they like to persuade you with fake promises and at the end of it they do nothing about it . The staff and as well as the manager are useless , I am unsure why this state agent is still open when they cant even offer any help and when they do they do not give . I highly do not recommend this agent . Though they had been given much time to fix any problems in the house they still decide not to do anything about it I am extremely disappointed especially when I was expecting better from where I a had moved from and the worst is I have a family of my own which is so hard to handle all together which is very stressful . Anyone that reads this review please do let me know what the head office number is .

I find it incredibly frustrating that I see a 'For Sale' board whilst out driving; take a note of the address and then cannot input that address on the website to find details. Instead I have to put in 'Number of bedrooms', 'Min price', 'Max price' and hope it turns up in a list of many, many properties. I have been looking for a specific property that I would like to buy, having seen the 'For Sale' board and CANNOT locate it anywhere on your website. WHY do you give us such a customer UN-friendly experience?

I was very disappointed by my experience with Entwistle Green Blackburn. I have currently made 3 phone calls to the company regarding a property I wish to rent. One the first phone call I was informed that a 18:30 viewing would be possible mid-week and that a colleague would call me strait back regarding the details. This was great as my partner works office hours and would only be available evenings or weekends. Three hours later I had not yet received a call back so I contacted the company again to be told by the same lady that they were waiting for confirmation from the tenant that a viewing was possible. I had assumed the property had no current tenant as Rightmove stated that it was available immediately and had been for several weeks. I then asked when the property was available and was give the very specific date of "mid-January". The next day I received a voice-mail asking me to contact the company. I returned the call and spoke to a different employee who very politely informed me that the company never preforms viewings after 4:30 in the evening and she had no idea why any other staff member would tell me that they did. In addition the property that I had been trying to arrange a viewing for had 5 viewings booked for this weekend and I would therefore be unable to view it until further notice. I am disappointed and disheartened by this experience with Entwistle Green Blackburn as moving house is a difficult process which is not helped by being misinformed and having my time wasted by what I assumed were a reliable company. If I had simply been told from the start that an evening viewing was not possible, I could have booked a Saturday viewing and not completely missed out on the house I wanted.

From a landlords point of view they were only interested in getting someone in as soon as possible - there was no consideration about the reliability of the tenant or what we had specified we wanted. We ended up with a tenant who did not pay on time and caused significant damage to our home. We were supposed to be on a fully managed scheme but I felt I was having to manage everything myself. Communication was extremely poor - we weren't kept up to date with anything and they rarely returned calls when they said they would. STAY CLEAR!
