I sold my house using Mortimers and from the initial meeting with Sam everything went smoothly. Kaitlan managed everything for me and kept me up to date with how things were progressing. Kaitlan couldn’t do enough for me and nothing was too much trouble. As an estate agent I would say they are honest and reliable. When offers in the region off actually means not willing to negotiate at all and all to happy to drag out the negotiation process because they have more viewings next week! Was also shown a house in Rudyard Drive, Blackburn covered in 1970 artex but no mention of the risk of asbestos in the sales information which is a direct breach of the CPRs.

I’ve ring the office this afternoon to explain them we are on the way and will late for 30 mins due to traffic. We’ve came all the way from London NW6 to view the property at olive lane in Darwen. Because of traffic we are late for 30 mins and already over the 160 miles on the way. I told them I can view the property even after end of the day if that’s will help since it’s over 200 miles to go back to London without viewing the property but the person I spoke to turn me down plainly. I explained to him I’m cash buyer and ready put the offer in today. He still turn me down even after I explain to him it’s will be really disappointing making over 500 miles round trip from London for nothing. Really appalling service. I feel bad for me and the seller of the house who will want to sell the house as well. Really bad service.

Kaitlin at Mortimers was invaluable when we were selling our late father's home. She helped us through the process, and kept things moving by contacting the buyer, their solicitor and ours when things seemed to have stalled. We needed to chase up our solicitors often, and Kaitlin's backup by making sure the buyer side and ours were communicating was a great help. The photos and details are one part of selling but keeping the process moving all the way to completion was an equally important part of what Mortimers did for us.
