I spoke to a few different estate agents back in April 2026 when I decided to sell my house. Chloe from the Mortimers Blackburn branch came out to meet me and talk me through how they would approach the sale. What stood out to me was how personal and relatable she was. I never felt like I was just being given a sales pitch, and I came away feeling that she was genuinely the right person to trust with selling my home. The house was listed shortly afterwards and I had multiple viewings within the first week. Around four weeks later, I'd agreed a sale! The service from the whole team since then has been brilliant. I've dealt with Sumayya, Megan, Ethan and Joe at different points and they've always kept me updated, answered my calls and dealt with any questions or requests without any trouble. I'm especially grateful for their patience and the effort they put in towards the end of the process. When things needed a push to get the sale over the line, they were actively chasing solicitors, speaking to my buyers and doing what they could to keep everything moving. That made a massive difference during what can be a pretty stressful final few weeks. Really grateful to Chloe and the whole Mortimers Blackburn team for everything they've done from the first meeting right through to completion. I definitely feel I made the right choice back in April and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thank you!

We received excellent service from Mortimer Estate Agents throughout the sale of our home. Joe took the lead and was outstanding from the moment the property went onto the market right through to completion. He was always easy to get hold of, consistently returned our calls and kept us well informed at every stage. Most importantly, Joe was proactive in progressing the sale and ensuring everything kept moving. Chloe, the branch manager, also provided great support whenever needed. Selling a house can be stressful, but the communication and personal service we received from Joe and Chloe made the whole process much easier. The whole team at Mortimers provide excellent and tailored support. We've just sold our family home using their services. Kind and considerate, about what a big thing it is to move home late in life, my parents were supported by Ethan during the sales process. His local market knowledge is fantastic and we were always provided useful and timely updates to help us make the best decisions. We are now settled into our new house and the 'experience' of moving which began in August is starting to recede into the distance. We chose Mortimers to guide us through the process as we had previous experience with them. Our instincts proved correct as from start to finish all the staff we encountered were extremely professional, helpful, efficient and courteous. However, I must make a special mention of Joe Varey who I know is spinning many plates all at once. Excellent service - Nick was keen to lend a hand with the final prepping of the house when viewings took place (he even did some hoovering for me), the team were accommodating with our nervous pet who was recovering from illness in the early days of viewings, and Sue was fabulous helping us navigate from first offer through to the point of exchange, helping things move as smoothly and quickly as possible. Also great at liaising with the other part of my move - buying via another estate agent. Move day is only 2 weeks away now :)

I trusted Mortimers with the sale of my property. Right from the initial meeting with Chloe who came out to see us we knew we were making the right choice compared with other estate agents. She understood our needs, the area, the demand and the potential price we could achieve. I was then handed over to Ethan for the sale to go through. What a legend he is!!! He was profeasional throughout, kept me informed, assisted with any queries i had and took his time to walk me through the process. Recently bought a house through Mortimers and have just moved in. I had a few communication problems with them in the beginning, due to staffing issues but after speaking with Matthew, the branch manager I was given just one point of contact who was great. She was polite, friendly and helpful did what she said she would do. Unfortunately she moved on and I was given Veda. Veda was great from day one. She emailed to introduce herself and kept in contact with me from day one, even if there was nothing to report Veda woukd let me know what she was doing and people she had spoken to. If I asked a question she would always get me an answer. She is knowledgable about the whole process including the Solicitors involvement. She was a pleasure to work with and made the moving process that little bit less stressful so Thank you Veda.
