What make Ocean worth 5 stars is that from the time you have an offer accepted they kept you up to date on progress.They assign someone to give you a weekly update on the progress of your move, even if no progress has been made.To me the most important thing is to keep people in the loop. I have had no need to contact Ocean as their system works,well done.

Everyone in the Shirehampton office is friendly and helpful, which continues throughout the sale process with useful feedback and (generally) regular updates. My house sold in a difficult market; they were obliging with my frequent input into the description and layout of the online marketing. Fair price.

The arrangements to decorate and re-carpet my main bedroom went well with the painting being finalised on Thursday 11 May and the carpet fitted on 19 May. Contact with Penelope at Ocean was good and I was fully satisfied with the quality of the work done.

Very sensible friendly approach to marketing our property in difficult circumstances (I have terminal cancer and wanted to move my wife and I quickly to be near our eldest son and family). Excellent initial advice given by Paul at the Portishead Office. From first producing property details to exchange of contract on a chain that did not begin construction until marketing our property took just ten weeks. I can recommend their conveyancing team just as highly!

The sale process was fine, it was only when we were exchanging the contract that we became aware that the offer price had been reduced by £30,000.At that point it was too late to pull out.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the sale of your property, it is very much appreciated. We were however disappointed to note that you considered it a surprise at exchange of contracts that the selling price was reduced. The property required extensive renovation and was therefore introduced to market with a guide price, after extensive marketing a sale price of £10k over the guide price was accepted 9/3/21.The property was subsequently down valued following the mortgage lenders survey. You were advised of this 30/4 and confirmation letters were sent 5/5 according to the sale records. We exchanged contracts on the 11/6 with a completion date of 21/6.Regards Ocean.
