terrible agency for renting a house. today I was given a house in bristol in bad condition (where at the time of the visit they said that everything would be sorted out before we entered the house) very dirty fridge. oven when we turned it on started to smoke from so much oil that it contained inside. bad agency

Recently completed my house purchase using Ocean’s (Bristol) mortgage broker and conveyancing services. Richard (mortgage broker) was very helpful in finding the best mortgage deal for me and then processing the application with regular updates. Given the turbulent mortgage market, he researched the market and found the best deal. And at one point when rates went down a bit, he kept an eye and helped me secure that new lower rate with the same lender before the exchange date. He is very helpful and gives great advice on mortgages. Unlike other brokers who take fees from customers as well as commission from lenders, Ocean/Richard offers FREE mortgage broker service to customers. I have used Richard in the past and it has always been an excellent experience. I would highly recommend using his services to anyone reading this.

We can’t speak highly enough of Adam and his whole team. Estate agents can have a bad reputation but all at Filton couldn’t be further from the stereotype. We sold and bought through Ocean and they made the stressful house buying experience so much easier. We were constantly in contact and they kept us up to date with everything that was going on. They were helpful, always available, put us first and also did lots of legwork with chasing the buyers and all the solicitors in the chain. We even received a phone call a week after moving (after they had been paid) to make sure we had settled in and was there anymore they could do, exemplary service!I wouldn’t recommend using any other estate agent.

We both bought and sold our home with Ocean. We then used their solicitors to do the conveyancy on both sides. It was an easy process and the whole thing (buying and selling) took just 15 weeks from initial contact to completion. Having not been in the housing market for 25 years, selling our house was initially a bit daunting. However, as soon as Jason from the Bishopston office visited to value our house the whole process became so much more reassuring and straightforward. The valuation seemed very sensible and reasonable. The pictures and house details were drawn up quickly and looked fantastic, so much so that after the viewings we had four offers to consider. We accepted an offer and subsequently Jason and Debbie from the office have kept us fully in touch with the progression of the sale. We have been delighted with Ocean, their approach and commitment has been excellent.

This is in regards to the Bishopston Office, our move manager Jordan was so helpful and really helped with the whole process. Bent over backwards to accommodate everything even if it got a little tricky at times. For our other sale, the Downend branch weren't that great and didn't provide such a great service.
