Melissa in particular has been brilliant at keeping me informed & answering any questions. Nothing seems too much trouble

Excellent hard working Estate AgentsI have always had the prejudiced view that estate agents were a bunch of *******. However I have been shown to be wrong and that the guys at Ocean are honest, hardworking and most of all very pleasant people. We have had a nightmare of a time with our solicitors and without the hard work put in by the Ocean team, acting as the communication portal for all parties and keeping everyone calm, I fear we would have lost the property we are now in. Yes high street agents are expensive by online standards, but with the quality of service from Ocean was at the next level and if you work out how much time and effort went into the sale it was in fact cheep.

We are very proud of our teams, whilst we would hope your lasting impression of them to be as you describe, we understand this may not have been your expectation before meeting us. Buying & selling can be very stressful, especially when in a chain, there's a lot of factors (& people) to deal with, our Move Manager's sole responsibility is to make that as stress free as possible for you and get you to exchange. In truth the 'headline' price for online agents is often a lot less than what you actually pay, and still it's the day to day, on-hand service that you are very unlikely to receive, especially once an offer has been accepted. It is extremely pleasing to hear you have not only received great service in your opinion, but that you feel it was good value for money, we couldn't ask for more quite honestly. Thank you again for your comments, it's really appreciated, and best of luck in you new home, Ocean.

Friendly , approachable , sorted out problems . There were issues but I don;t know whether these were caused by our vendors soliitors ( buyers also used ocean) hence the 4 star rather than 5 , A problem right at the end when exchanging to a make or break deadline was handled well and i am very grateful

I have just completed on the sale of my house with Ocean estate agents and Ocean property lawyers. Using the same company for the sale and conveyancing has meant that there has been a very smooth transition and any queries were dealt with quickly. It was complicated by one of us no longer living in the country, however Ocean made this very easy for us. Besides top notch services I found all the employees I came into contact with friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and very helpful. I would recommend Ocean to anyone looking for an estate agent/property lawyer.

I recently used Ocean to rent out my property. From start to finish they were very professional and kept me updated throughout. They also quickly answered or dealt with any queries that I had. It was the 2nd time I've used Ocean since I bought my flat through them 2 years ago and they really were amazing - potentially without their help I would have lost the sale AND my buyer! (And hence I decided to rent through them as a result.) Any way, I would recommend Ocean every time and whilst they may be a little more expensive than some competitors you get that back in a very stress free process which I think is well worth the extra money! The only reason I've given them 4 stars (would give them a 4.75* in fact) is that: 1. Sometimes if I called I couldn't get through (but such is life I suppose)2. I gave them 2 email addresses (1 work, 1 home) and asked them that they were used in all instances. This didn't always happen. One time Ocean had arranged viewings on a Saturday morning but emailed my work address to notify me. It just so happened that instead of staying at mine on the Friday I'd stayed at my partner's - lucky though, otherwise they would have walked in on me whilst in bed!3. I received an email about 4 days before my tenant was due to take occupancy and it presumed I needed to get the property professionally cleaned and get an electrical inspection. When I questioned this in a panic, I was told it was a standard email to all landlords and not to worry as a professional clean wasn't mandatory and didn't need the electrical inspection due to documents I had already given them. It would be good to amend these emails so it's appropriate for the situation.As is said though, despite the above, which is a bit of tweaking - I'd recommend Ocean every time.

After 3 sales falling through due to chains breaking down. We’ve eventually exchanged with our fourth buyers. Helen at Ocean Property Lawyers has been fantastic. My current onward purchase has been extremely quick and Helen has worked her magic in getting the sale through quickly and efficiently, especially during these difficult times of lockdown. Highly recommended.

Buying and selling a house can be hugely stressful, but from my first phone call to get someone over for a valuation, all the way through to the last phone call telling me we had completed, my experience of the Ocean team in Southville could not have been any better! Everyone I dealt with were both friendly whilst remaining highly professional. The journey from accepting an offer to final completion was not without bumps in the road, but Claire, the move manager, worked tirelessly to ensure that the sale kept on track and all parties were happy with the negotiations. Whenever I popped in to do some paperwork, Troy always made sure to get up and say hi and check how things were going even if he was in a meeting at the time! I can thoroughly recommend the team here if you are looking for as smooth and hassle free sale. I also used their in-house photographer who was excellent and their lawyers who I found really easy to deal with.

Really great service.. they called me to discuss renewing my mortgage and offered an incredibly well organised and fast service. Luigi and Tracey were really helpful with coming up with a solution at the end when there were problems with Halifax’s legal team. No issues at all with ocean finance. Just great service the whole way through, much appreciated

I cannot thank Ocean enough, both the estate agent team and the legal team were fantastic, Joe, Gemma, Jess and Lucy. Communication from beginning to end was amazing. The timeline online is great but I could always phone or pop in if I needed help with forms or paperwork. I would absolutely recommend with no hesitation. Thanks again for making a stressful time very seamless.

We received excellent sales and marketing advice from the branch manager Steve who was enthusiastic and approachable. We lost one sale along the way and the market definitely became more challenging but Steve remained confident and positive about our property and managed to get a good number of viewings and a very decent offer. The sales progression had a few hiccups but these were managed diligently by Melissa and we completed on the sale as hoped for. Lots of agents can sell a property in a strong market but when the market becomes more sticky you really need a first class agent with experience, determination and the ability to get hold of a situation and sort it. That’s what we got with Ocean and we are very happy that we used them to sell our house.
