Trustpilotworst service provided to tenants
3rd week without a working fridge and now without power in the kitchen. It took 1 week for the letting agency to send someone to have a look at my fridge that wasn't working. I was told that at the end of 2nd week the fridge will be replaced. The fridge was not replaced because the agency claimed that they ordered a fridge that didn't fit in the kitchen and the technician that visited my place to replace the fridge disconnected all the cables in the kitchen and left me without power in the kitchen. They told me that they would come and repair the power in the next day but this didn't happen and of course no idea on when the fridge will be replaced. Avoid letting a house from this agency to avoid having such a trouble if something breaks down.Update :15/11/2019 22:00As explained over the phone to Oceanhome representative and manager, the isolation switches were never the problem. The contractor never came to reinstall the power supply in my kitchen, as mentioned in the reply and as promised on the phone by the Oceanhome manager. Big shame!Update : 26/11/2019The fridge was finally replaced after 4 weeks in total and 1 week later from what Ocean's manager himself had promised.

Thank you for your comments and please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in resolving your issue.Unfortunately and very frustratingly the initial contractor let us down, he took a week to investigate the fault & provide a quote for a replacement unit. The landlord then requested a 2nd quote which was received and authorised the same day. On the day of delivery, nearly 1 week later it was discovered that the unit was an unusual size and therefore wouldn’t fit as you describe. A specialised appliance had to be sourced, was authorised by the landlord yesterday and has been ordered.The contractor when looking at replacing the fridge had switched off the isolation switches to some of the other appliances and will be visiting today to switch them back on.Once again please accept our apologies for the delays in finding a suitable replacement appliance. Whilst the situation was exasperated by the initial contractor, we should have followed this up with them in a more timely manner and kept you updated, we didn’t and we are sorry for this. We are currently implementing an improved automated follow up system with our software provider which will prevent instances like this.Following your conversation with the Director of Ocean property management this afternoon, we are happy to confirm the contractor will be with you early next week to install the new appliance.Thank you for your patience, once again apologies for any inconvenience caused.Ocean

This company is not professional or honest, I moved out a month ago from a flat since then I havent heart anymore from then about my big deposit they know we are immigrants so they try take our money, I call then they come with excuses about employees leaving or other things that is not my bussiness, I will have to fight in the court for my deposit if I want it wich will cost me more than I have to receive for sure, Just be aware when u rent from them what u can expect fron them after leaving property!

The property management team are, as you know, dealing with the many issues regarding the condition of the property subsequent to your tenancy ending. Your ethnicity or status has absolutely no bearing on this process what so ever. The whole experience with Ocean was fantastic from start to finish.In fact, the process started 4 years ago when I needed a valuation for divorce purposes. I had a chat with Stefano and explained my situation. He was really helpful and arranged for Lawrence to visit. (Ocean were the only agent that wanted to visit as I had explained that I had no plans to sell imminently). Lawrence came round and provided a written valuation straight away, of which I was very grateful.When circumstances prompted the need to sell last summer, I called upon Stefano and Lawrence again, who gave me an honest appraisal and some good advice on preparing the property to go to market.Ash took some amazing photos, and Lawrence marketed the property at exactly the right price, meaning I had 10 viewings lined up in one day. Joseph carried out the viewings, introduced himself first and obtained 4 offers, giving me the option to chose the best buyer.Lisa progressed the sale and kept me informed at all times, chasing where necessary (particularly as the solicitors at the top of the chain were somewhat slow).I also instructed Ocean Property Lawyers, Livia in particular was excellent - so helpful and friendly, dealing mainly via email which suited me perfectly.I cannot recommend Ocean highly enough (and have already done so, several times).

They looked after my daughter and her 3 friends who are new University Students and helped them find a beautiful newly renovated house to rent.
