We contacted William Wells at Mullucks some years ago when we were thinking of building ourselves a smaller house in the orchard and were concerned about the impact this would have on our present house when we came to sell it. At that time he gave us knowledgeable and helpful advice on the planning issues and kept in regular touch so that by the time we were ready to think of selling we already had confidence in his sound judgement. Our house went on the market in September this autumn, not the most auspicious time to be selling. From the start everyone in the office was thoroughly efficient and helpful, returning calls promptly and once viewing started, keeping in constant touch with us and giving us feedback from those who had viewed in a charming and friendly manner. We had plenty of serious viewers and were very happy with the honest and fair guidance they gave us when we had to choose between two buyers. A really excellent firm.

In such a difficult market, I believe their professionalism and know-how throughout the process were key to our sale. William in particular demonstrated real in-depth knowledge of the market in our local area, as well as the state of the broader UK property market; as such, we were fully confident in their advice and their realistic approach to pricing. Once the sale was agreed STC, they were in constant contact, firmly worked on the chain to keep the process moving and guided our approach; Liz was instrumental in this. The whole team were friendly, efficient and proactive. Given the current macro uncertainty, I genuinely believe we would still be waiting to sell if we had signed up with a lesser agent. Martin Young has been so helpful - he answers the phone, he returns your calls, he forms helpful relationships with the local solicitors who actually speak to him, and he keeps the whole process going.
