When I first decided to put my house on the market I did look into other alternative estate agents. However Miles stood out from these right from the start. From the way my home was presented in photographs and house details to later on down the line dealing with the chain. I can really see the benefits of the local estate agent who really knows his stuff and has over 20 years experience in the business. I would recommend miles 100% as he sees the process right through to the end as is with you every step of the way.PositiveProfessionalism

I've thought for a long time about whether I should write a review or not giving special consideration to how many good reviews Miles has but I think it's only fair to share my experience. The issue I had with Miles was over £48 for floor plan costs which I agreed to pay upfront with the understanding that this would be reimbursed to me on completion. Miles did not object until completion and I only got the £48 back once I took it to the property Ombudsman. I have no idea what possessed Miles to act the way he did over £48 when he received £3,700 for selling my property. I felt embarrassed going to the property ombudsman for such a trivial amount but I didn't think it was right that Miles could act in this way. Miles advertised the property brilliantly and secured a buyer however he did not do a good job at handling the buyers when some issues arose from the survey and I had to talk to the buyers myself to stop the sell falling through. Although this may have been an isolated experience I really couldn't recommend Miles I'm afraid.NegativeProfessionalism

A friend recommended Miles Estate Agents for a personal, professional service for the sale of our country house. Miles certainly delivered. The valuation was fair and met our reasonable expectations. The sale brochure and web photos were well designed, and the marketing created a great deal of interest. Miles conducted the viewings in person, and most importantly kept us fully informed of progress and developments from start to finish. This was particularly appreciated during the few bumps in the road with the purchaser’s own house sale. We also had a lot of good banter along the way! We cannot recommend Miles highly enough. A thoroughly professional service, great to deal with, keeping us informed at all points and most importantly, sold our house for us in quick order and for the price we wanted. I would recommend Miles Estate Agents without hesitation. He is very experienced and has excellent local knowledge of the market. He took personal resonsibility for maximising our house's potential, from photgraphs to advice on presentation as well as handling viewings. A very personal service, with a friendly demeanour meant we were extremely pleased with the level of service.
