From making the appointment to value my property right through to completion of the sale the staff at Robinson Bishop Auckland office kept me up to date and were proactive at all steps of the way. I moved to France just before the sale was confirmed but this made no difference to the service received and I felt confident that I could leave things, including the keys, in their hands to ensure that the sale went smoothly. Thank you to all the staff, in particular Allyson, who is a true asset to the office.

I can honestly say that Ryan, Sharon and Dani were really helpful, efficient and made the whole experience a lot easier for me. The property was sold straightaway and completed very fast. Robinson sold our house after a week in the market, so bought a house as well through Robinson and Claire was a good negotiator . She’s the one who negotiate our sell and purchased of our house. Really pleased with their Customer Service , thanks to Mark who done the evaluation and photos to make it sure that our house is look tidy and nice and Lyndsey as well who helped me through the purchase. Switched and Sold

Having originally decided to sell our house with a different estate agent, having no success despite many viewings we switched to Robinsons. The staff are knowledgeable and most certainly efficient and focused on making the sale happen. After been on the market for nearly 12 months we switched to Robinson’s and had agreed a sale in just two months. Great team

We had used Robinsons

We had used Robinsons, Durham City for many years as our management letting agency for a house rental. We decided to sell the rental property and our own home together as a pair and we could not have placed that responsibility in better hands. It is not an easy task to sell 2 houses as a pair together. All of the staff are 5 star people who understand the needs and problems of vendors. Robinson's have a vast array of experience, understanding and empathy which, we had to call on during our selling process. Their representative (Keith) who initially visited us and advised us regarding their marketing and advertising was extremely good, very experienced, helpful and polite. The office staff including, Joanne, Anne and Stacey could not have done enough for us throughout the process. Their Customer Service was second to none, even when we had a few problems they were all there to advise and lend a helping hand. I would recommend Robinson's to anybody and would like convey our thanks to all of their staff. Thank you.

Jade and the ladies were amazing!

Dealing with the ladies at the Sedgefield office was great from start to finish. Anita gave up her time after work to show me around some houses and when I finally decided on one, Jade went above and beyond to make sure the process was as stress-free as possible for me. She kept me up to date with progress and chased up solicitors on both sides to make sure everything was on track. As a First Time Buyer, that sort of customer service was amazing.I’d highly recommend using this estate agency and I’d like to thank Jade and the girls for all their hard work.

Sharon went over and above her remit to ensure the smooth sale of our property. Her help in maintaining a good relationship and accurate regular communication with our buyer has been superb. We know that we would not be in the position we are - having exchanged contracts and having a move date of next week- without her relentless determination to see this through. We’ve only moved once before and that sale, too, was through Robinsons. Yet again, we find ourselves able to say that Robinsons have done a fantastic job on marketing and selling our house from beginning to end. Great experience 100% recommended

Great experience with the Crook branch of Robinsons. All the guys dealing with my house purchase were very friendly, professional and offered sound advice. The viewing was arranged promptly and the guy turned up on time (several viewings with other estate agents had been late or re-arranged). Everything was explained very clearly to me in regards to the history of the house with no hidden information, which is always nice. When offering advice regarding which solicitor to use for my purchase, no bias opinions were offered, just a really good local firm who managed to get the sale through in record time. And if they had not recommended this, I'd have gone elsewhere and possibly not gotten the same service.Picking the keys up again was a joy, rang to arrange an appointment and 10 minutes later, I had my little blue bag containing my new house keys and a little bottle of celebration plonk, happy days!All in all a very good experience with Robinsons and more than well deserved 5 star rating.

Mostly good, but I am disappointed by the poor attention to detail.

I use the Durham branch of Robinsons Lettings to rent out property. I pay for the Full Management Service because I want peace of mind, and because I want to know that anything I forget or miss will be picked up by the agents.For the most part I am happy with the work that Robinsons staff do, everything important seems to get done okay.But my trust in Robinsons has been undermined recently by poor attention to detail and some silly, embarrassing mistakes by their staff.Eg 1) I was sent a new Agency Agreement to sign during a vacant period. Names and addresses were spelled wrong and I had to ask the young lady to correct it and send it out again.Eg 2) The name of the tenant has been wrong on the Keystone Property Inspection Reports for years, and they never corrected it after I pointed it out to them. It was just a spelling mistake with regards to the first tenant, but now I have a new tenant, the name hasn't been updated and it is now completely wrong.Eg 3) Mistakes made in the Initial Inventory including a section on a bathroom that doesn't exist in the property, duplicated photos, missing captions on photos, tenant's name wrong again.Eg 4) Yeah I know, I'm getting bored too, but the list goes on. Sometimes a Robinsons staff member will email a document to me, asking me to review it, make amendments if needed, and then return it. So I do all this and then I'm told I didn't need to because it's only for the tenant's benefit and isn't important. Oh great, thanks for wasting my time and taking my money too.If I were only paying for tenant finding or rent collection, I might overlook these silly mistakes, but because I'm paying for the full service, I expect a higher standard. Therefore I give 3 stars.A letting agency that can't get the tenant's name right. Seriously?

From start to finish the customer service was excellent. My house SOLD within 2 days for full asking price. I put this down to the attention to detail from Michael when photographing and marketing showcasing my property at its very best.This was done impeccably in comparison to my experience with another estate agent, where I was dissapointed. Karen and of the office team are friendly, helpful and efficient with all updates and follow ups keeping you informed at every stage of your sale.Also thank you to Terry Hogg for recommending Robinsons. I would now highly recommend Robinsons Estate Agent to anyone. I have tried the cheap deals and found very poor corresponance and proffesionalism. Unprofessional, wrong information given

Robinson’s estates agents in the area of Crook, allowing the landlord to branch the agreement on many occasions, allowing them to intimidate the tenants in the house, being verbally attacked on all social media platforms, incited into ending the agreement on wrong information which will end with a 7 and a half month pregnant woman out of the house and on the streets, promising one thing and doing another, told wrong information after wrong information which then got lost in miscommunication and this can be backed up especially on recent emails from the company, they now tell us that we are leaving on our own accord, which is wrong information , we were incited to agreed otherwise my wife would have to suffer more of the abuse from the landlords. everytime we ring an advisor, they tell us not to believe staff that we had spoke to before as they were only part time staff and don’t know what they are talking about, very unprofessional company who don’t protect the tenants, then I find out the manager is the landlords best friend, disgraceful*** EDIT**I apologise for the misinformation regarding a friendship between the manager and the landlord, but on signing the tenancy, the landlord's husband said Robinsons in the area of Crook were the choice of agent, because he was friends with the manager at the branch in the area of Crook, through a Basketball connection.I will not, however, apologise for pointing out that we have been given wrong information. My wife was given wrong information to, and then so was I. Your office are now in possession of the email from my wife pointing out that the the wrong information which was deliberate and with the intention of inducing us into ending the agreement early. I sat next to my wife, heard the conversation and the mutual, verbal agreement that was made. To then renege on this and state that the contents of Monday's conversation did not take place, I have already stated that I would amend the review as necessary if anything I said was not the case.But I will not amend the portion about the wrong information , incitement and inducement to end the agreement as that is exactly what happened.

Robinson’s have been great, especially Elaine who delt with us from the beginning. Very helpful from start to finish, even when we were having trouble getting our mortgage accepted she always gave us time and space to get things sorted and and advice when we needed it. We are very greatful for this as we now are moving into our first home. Thank you for everything Elaine. Would not hesitate to recommend Robinsons, really impressed with the hard graft put in by everyone especially Danny. We engaged Robinsons and Ingleby Homes to sell our home so it was easy to gauge the levels of effort put in by each by each Estate Agent, I have to say that I was seriously underwhelmed by Ingleby Homes. Great service

Had a really good, easy experience purchasing our first home through Robinson’s. We dealt with Sally and Joy and both were very friendly, polite, professional and made everything really clear throughout the process. Efficient Sale....

I chose Robinsons after another agent was slow to respond taking photographs and Robinsons were prompt in their response and gave a higher valuation (which was achieved). They got my property online within a day or 2 with video etc. It sold within 6 days and liaison with staff was great. Mainly dealt with Joy, nothing was too much trouble. The sale was straightforward and no complications which helps, but no complaints from me.
