The best estate agent serving Ingelby Barwick

Renting and selling 2 different properties at the same is very stressful but the team at Robinsons are amazing. Helpful always getting back to me despite me ringing all the time and very professional. They work for the landlord and Tennant and Donna is amazing on lettings. Her and Rob on lettings are so good.Chris and Victoria are brilliant on sales. Victoria’s really helpful keeping calm and always ringing me back honestly this is the best agent by far for lettings and sales.

Can’t fault them

Can’t fault them, first class service. Mark is so caring and a genuine man. Nothing too much for him and even when i was asking something which was probably OTT he tried but also was honest at what we could expect and reset our expectations. Very knowledgeable and knows his market. They only charge you if they do the job I just wish I had listened when they first came to see me a year ago instead I went for the what looked cheaper agent but in the long run they took their money set my expectations through the roof and didn’t do what was promised, Robinsons did exactly what Mark said they would. 100% recommend very trustworthy

Ryan and the team just sold my house for me. They were excellent. From the initial contact, taking photos and video through to completion they were responsive, professional and nothing was ever too much trouble. Words cannot express our gratitude to Sam, we could write pages - one of the reasons it has taken so long to write this review.Circumstances led us to be homeless in February. Not too bothered - stay in hotels, buy at auction thus gaining quick entry.Covid loomed so bought a property two weeks before lockdown. Thought we would take possession in a couple of weeks as had paid a reservation fee and an auction pack fee which had all the searches included, appointed solicitors to just get transaction done, no queries etc.Three weeks later, because of Covid, we were thrown out of the hotel and could not get another as we were not key workers - from a week after lockdown, we were living in a car!Our solicitors, even knowing our circumstances, were non communicative. Did not take our calls and did not return them. Sam tried on our behalf and got the same treatment.Sam therefore: A. Contacted the seller's solicitors and got them to hassle ours as they were holding things up. Constantly kept in contact with the seller's solicitors and kept us up to date - the only information we were getting.B. Kept in constant contact with the seller ensuring he was not holding matters up and also arranged for us to dump our possessions at the property, which had previously been in storage, a couple of days before lockdown.C. The last hurdle was a Mortgage Redemption Certificate. They seller's solicitors had tried to obtain but the bank was basically saying that the department was closed. Sam used his contacts and all forms of social media to contact the bank and was successful. Gave the details to the buyer's solicitor and shortly afterwards the Certificate was received.D. There was a huge problem with our solicitors on completion day. They seemed quite happy to hold matters up needlessly. It was a Friday, and they seemed quite happy for my partner and I to spend another week in the car. Sam sorted it.From buying a property at auction, we spent 3 weeks in a hotel and 6 weeks in the car. Whilst in the car, we were hassled by police and subjected to an attempted robbery in the early hours. Without Sam, we would have not known was was going on and I honestly believe the time spent in the car could easily have doubled. Sam did not need to do anything, he performed a variety of duties/tasks way beyond his remit. What a wonderful guy.

I would like to thank the Robinson's Sedgefield team (and particularly Sharon) for all the help and support they have given me through the somewhat lengthy period it took to sell my beautiful old house. The time taken is in no way their fault as Robinson's have done everything they could to send a steady stream of viewings. Sharon also helped me to cope with the frustration of eager sounding buyers (almost) who took us all the way and then pulled out at the very last minute, sending us all back to square one. Having had a dim view of estate agents because of a bad experience with the last one I used that was suppose to let my property and was nightmare I was reluctant and bit hesitant on using another. I took a leap of faith and rang Robinsons Ingleby Barwick office. Donna was the person who dealt with lettings and she was so positive reassuring and genuine that I signed up to let our property. Toni who deals with incoming calls was professional and always rang me back when promised and took many of my calls such a lovely approach to customer service. Donna was my main contact throughout the whole process and I cannot speak any more highly of her so professional and her reputation for fantastic customer service is 2nd to none honestly the service From her is brilliant so warm and helpful nothing is too much trouble.Great communication From her She kept me informed every step of the way. Viewings organised and followed up with feedback. The house was let within couple weeks and as a result of such an amazing service another house we let we have now gone to a managed service thanks to Donna this was so quick for us. She is an asset to Robinsons. Ingleby Barwick office Have dealings over the past 5 years and would just like to say Danny and his team are doing A great job .Ive have recently sold ,bought ,and rented a property out with them .The can do approach from Danny with his realist valuation on property’s for sale and rental the property was not sat on the market and having to reduce it time and time again and making it look like a closing down sale .Donna and Toni also are great at their roles in sales and rentals keeping myself as a landlord up to date with current legal regulations for industry. Robinsons as a company need to keep supporting the office with back up from head office as iam sure they already do thanks Andrew

2017 to 2019 i rented a property in Stockton. I would strongly recommend using the stockton branch if you are looking for a new home. Mr Robinson the land Lord was 5star he helped with the application fees. He employs staff who give 5star customer service they ensure all annual safety checks where booked around a time that suited me. Robinsons Crook.

Robinsons were initially very keen to take over listing my property for sale. Fees were agreed as they said they'd match the fees of the company I was currently with. All was good.The property eventually sold, and paperwork was filled out with solicitors etc. On this paperwork information was supplied regarding Robinsons fees etc, as agreed initially this was a price INCLUSIVE of VAT, but when it actually came down to it after the sale was completed, Robinsons were quite happy to inform the solicitors that the cost was actually EXCLUDING VAT. WHY????? I really wasn't happy with this at all, what also annoyed me was the fact I had to pay for Robinsons to have their fee sent electronically, but they only felt the need to return the stolen money via check after they were confronted about it, with a blasé "OH YEAH". This is not acceptable at all. How many other people does this happen too that don't actually check the completion figures.If it wasn't for the issue with the fee, the review rating would have been higher, but unfortunately this isn't something that should be happening.

I’ve been with Robinson letting for years and they were great with keeping me updated with the rented property problems and they organised trades to do any outstanding work . When it came for me to sell the property I had no hesitation in getting Robinson to deal with the sale and again we’re great at keeping me updated with viewing and emails yes first class would recommend Robinson to anyone who were selling the property
