Great Service

Robinson's were great from start to finish, from the initial valuation of our property right through to completion and moving. Sam was very friendly, polite and helpful, which persuaded us to go with Robinson's for our sale.All of the staff were extremely helpful in arranging viewings of our property, and also keeping us updated when potentially suitable properties came onto the market, and arranged viewings for us.The property we decided to (and eventually did) buy was for sale through Robinson's, and the communication between all buyers and sellers was excellent, and staff always responded to any queries very quickly and efficiently.As a completion date got closer, it became evident that the various solicitors employed by the people within the chain were not communicating with each other as accurately and expeditiously as they could have, which could have caused the whole chain to collapse (as the seller at the end of the chain needed to sell within a specific time frame). Julie from Robinson's was magnificent in ensuring that all of the solicitors were aware of the needs of individual buyers and sellers, and the time constraints involved, and she encouraged accurate and efficient communication between them, and both our sale and purchase got over the line. Thank you, Julie.We love our new house and have no plans of moving again any time soon, but I would have no hesitation of reccommending Robinson's to anyone wanting to move house.

Sale of property

I used Robinson Estate Agent as I found them to have no advertising fees and their price for completion was acceptable. I could not fault the staff at all and they were all extremely helpful. Their communication was excellent and we're in touch with any information they received. Angela was excellent with after sale and it was a pleasure to communicate with a very pleasant lady. I highly recommend Robinsons and will use them again if I ever need an estate agent .

Just bought a house from Robinson's and would highly recommend them to others.I registered my details as a prospective buyer back in February and had a friendly chat with them about what I required and the budget I had. Elaine, Becky and the team contacted me each time a new property that matched my criteria came on the market and arranged viewings quickly and conveniently. Many thanks must go to Elaine for her honest advice. I had read in the papers the market was moving fast but I didn't quite realise how fast. This made me feel uneasy as nobody wants to feel pressured into making one of the biggest choices of their lives but equally I didn't want to miss out on a perfect house because of my indecisiveness. When I last bought a house, I viewed it 4 times before I put in an offer! She listened to my concerns and kindly gave her thoughts on how I could proceed, based on her experience, which really helped to change my mentality, which was needed in order to be successful in the market at the time. Never thought I would be able to put an offer in after one viewing but when it came down to it, it didn't feel that scary at all because I was fully prepared for the viewing and had all my questions answered either before or during the viewing. I was over the moon when Becky rang to say my offer had been accepted.Once my offer was accepted, the Robinson's Team kept in touch with me regularly with updates and swiftly answered any queries I had. This part wasn't plain sailing unfortunately but I cannot fault the brilliant service I received from Robinson's. If it wasn't for Elaine's tenacity I think I still might be waiting for a completion date! She went above and beyond to ensure the whole chain didn't collapse after a couple of false starts which were out of her control.Thank you to you all for all your hard work and for finding me my ideal house. Just sold our late mother’s house through Robinsons Sedgefield. From the very start Ryan was the true professional. Totally understanding the emotional journey of selling the family home. He was there with support and kind words, explained the process thoroughly and we did not have to worry. He did a fabulous job of marketing the home, with great photos and video. Jaynie and Claire from Lettings were friendly, helpful and very approachable.Both gave us time and patience when giving information and when searching for properties that they thought we might want to view based on our likes and dislikes.It was evident that they were both organised and were able to fit short notice viewings in for us around viewings we had already booked with them earlier.Ken,who showed us around the properties, was very polite and informative and he went out of his way,during his own lunch break, to show us some of the local area,pointing out places where we could easily park and where we could get a coffee or something to eat.

Excellent service in Sedgefield

Excellent service from the Sedgefield branch! Having dealt with Ryan for several years when he personally managed our property (whilst we lived abroad), he was the most obvious choice when it came to selling our property. Ryan valued our home, took top quality photographs, created a video tour and immediately had viewings lined up. His service was flawless. I struggled with anxiety when selling the home and Ryan was constantly on hand when I needed help or support. He went above and beyond, reassured me and spoke to me like I was a person and not just a number. His personal approach outshines any estate agent I have ever dealt with. I first tried to buy a house 1 year ago through Michael poole the house was going through for around 8 month. Michael poole only contacted me when i put the offer in then nothing for months i was constantly chasing them and getting ignored so i decided to pull out off the deal and not deal with them again.Then i spotted this property through robinsons i was dealing with Becky all the way through she was very professional and contacted me on a weekly basis with updates.I didnt even have to chase solicitors Becky did all that for me and pushed the deal through alot quicker than i thaught it would take.Becky made buying my home stress free without any worries at all.I would 100% recommend Robinsons to anyone buying a home keep up the good work.

Initial visit to value our rental property was a very positive experience.Michael Hughes was was both very professional and very personable .He took the marketing photos there and then and we were very pleased with them .Micheal was very knowledgeable about the local housing market and realistic in his valuation. .The property was quickly put online and we had several viewing in the first week and a sale agreed by the end of the second week, far in excess of the asking price and our own expectations. I chose Robinsons to sell my late father's house in Sedgefield because Ryan was so enthusiastic and I really believed that he would strive to get the best deal for us. We have just moved into our dream home and couldn't be happier. We still cant believe how lucky we are and how quickly and smoothly both the purchase and sale of our old property went once we'd had our offer accepted on our new home. Both transactions were handled with expertise by Victoria at Robinsons Ingleby Barwick. The whole team, in particular Richard (and Chris in the early stages) went above and beyond to ensure it all came together, keeping us updated almost daily. We sold our property through robinsons, the service has been outstanding. We have dealt with many members of the team however the main one being Gill Palmer who has been amazing, she's helped out all the way through and has been an absolute pleasure to work with, cant fault the service at all, extremely friendly, very professional and one of the very few parts of the sale that was smooth, easy and a pleasure to be part of.Terry also needs a special mention he was absolutly amazing from finding us a mortgage to saving our sale 2 days before we were due to move and doing everything he possible could to fix an issue caused by a third party. A shame for one to let you down

I have recently bought and sold through Robinsons - Sam and Natalie were wonderful and very good at their job, in fact, every other person I dealt with in that office was never anything short of lovely. However, the person I was dealing with (A), was rude, patronizing, and generally unpleasant to deal with. She made the whole process more challenging and I found her manner abrasive and rude most of the time. For that reason, I will not use Robinsons in the future to sell a home.
