Continually ignored by Spencers Birstall

Joint sale between Spencer's and purple bricks, Spencers didn't get the sale. I moved in almost 3 weeks ago and have asked multiple times to have the for sale board removed. They continue to ignore me. I just want them to collect this flipping for sale board, how difficult can this be. If they can't organise this, how could you trust them to sell your house effectively....

Was seen by Paresh Patel. Very kind and professional. Loved working with him and was always informative which was ideal for me as I am a curious person and new to the property ladder. I have previously spoken to other Mortgage brokers but decided to go with Paresh Patel as he had in depth knowledge of mortgages and insurances. Was not forced or pushed to take on particular services like other mortgage brokers tend to do. Paresh guided me well and made sure I had the best offer available. Furthermore, he was still in contact with me throughout the whole purchase process even though he had completed his part of the process. Lastly, he was understanding of my circumstance as I was in a rush to get a property in a specific amount of time. Therefore, he worked in a timely manner to submit the mortgage offer and constantly checked up on the lender for feedback. Overall, I felt that Paresh Patel was dedicated to his work and has a true passion in what he does. He has years of valuable experience and would definitely be able to advice anyone, no matter which stage you are at. I would definitely recommend to take Paresh Patel as your mortgage broker and you would not regret it. Absolutely amazing guy.

From the moment we asked John to come and value our house, we knew Spencers would be the one to work with to sell our home. John was so kind, listened to our needs and we couldn’t fault anything. Millie and Courtney, what can we say apart from what amazing hard working women that went above and beyond for us! From start to finish, they worked tirelessly to sell our home and once we did, it didn’t stop there. Millie and Courtney supported us so much with the chain we had. They kept the communications open with everyone, working so hard to get answers and results to get our dream home. They were our absolute rock when things became very stressful and there was not one moment where we didn’t have a smile or offer of help. I was waiting for someone to come on afternoon to value my house ready to sell. A girl rang me to say she'd have to cancel my appt as the person who was coming had overrun his last client!! Ok I thought but was dissapointed.. Within half an hour someone else rang me to say appt was cancelled because he was sick...😳 I rearrange d the appt for the next week but on the day I was told it was cancelled again... So disappointing experience with Spencers. I don't think they are professionals. I don't believe their reviews in Google are true. We had the worst experience like tenants. Katy and Naomi let us down. So the things now escalated to Property Ombudsman. Please tenants and landlords and any other people who are using their services look after your rights! Keep your evidences and report Spencers to Property Ombudsman like I do.

Avoid at all costs Youre lied to through the whole process If you’re selling a property you need to be in direct contact with your buyer and if you’re buying you need to be in direct contact with your seller to make sure you are selling for the same price your buyer is buying for and vice versa . He is NOT allowed by law to take deposits . Under no circumstances let him coerce you into to giving him money ! You won’t get it back . Had my buyer not got in contact with me I would NEVER have known he was selling my property for more than he was telling me and my buyer was buying for more than I was selling for . The deposit he took from her I knew nothing about but he’d written a letter to her saying as per agreed by the family and it certainly was not the case . This person needs stopping . I don’t know how many companies he’s had . Ignore the date in the review it wouldn’t let me change to the date of my experience

first of all they have sided with their own staff regarding a meeting for a mortgage. I attended a meeting with my friend who was a first time buyer, The mortgage advisor took our details and asked what my friend was offered elsewhere and we told him. after this he could not get better figures than what my friend had already got and he stressed it is impossible to get those figures,He was so unprofessional saying he would put his 20 years experience to the test etc. He was very annoying and also told my friend to lower his voice and calm down when my friend was talking in the same tone all the way through and was so calm. he left the family upset. later on that day we went to CONNELS who gave similar figures that we got before which proves that this mortgage advisor has failed to please us at all. Customer is always right?
